We need to desperately change our political and cultural perspective. You see, Uncle Joe Biden, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton are not liberals. They are not even progressives.
They are conservatives.
Typically, the definition of a conservative is one who wishes to maintain traditional values and norms, while that of a liberal is one who champions change from the status quo. What is not stated is how far one must go back for norms that need to be preserved. Indeed, many who claim the “conservative” label are only looking back a few years, or perhaps a few decades.
But what do we have today from the so-called “liberals?” Change from the status quo, or a continued movement along a status quo agenda and train of thought? Today, to be a conservative really is about maintaining the current trendlines, or status quo. It’s about the trendlines towards more governmental control and social agendas that are nothing short of kooky. Even with the inclusion of the transgender agenda, this does not mean that leftists are still liberal or progressive. The transgender ideology has been festering in the background for decades, and is part and parcel to the homosexual agenda. Even the weaponization of government against political opponents has been going on for many decades.
In reality, the true liberals and radicals are those who wish to see dramatic change in our political elite, the way the business of politics is conducted, and to make America, as an independent nation, once more stable and prosperous.
The true liberals and progressives of today, for those reading this column, are you.
This is why our “betters” fight tooth and nail against free speech and freedom of association. They love the current trendlines and where things are headed, and they want nobody to upset their little applecart.
And this makes the current establishment the reactionaries, those opposed to change and on the defensive.
So when we hear the establishment shills scream that we are a “threat to our democracy,” in a way they are right. We are a threat… to their version of democracy. Their democracy is conservative and stuck in concrete, pushing along on their “no boundaries” agenda in all its forms, whether it be the national borders, the nature of human genders, or the basics of right and wrong. To them, there are no boundaries, and they have been this way for hundreds of years.
After all, isn’t it an irony that the leftist media labeled leftist states “blue,” and what are often called conservative states, “red?”
