In June of 2023, Chelsea Clinton, that privileged white girl of a privileged white family, let the cat out of the bag.
So-called “white supremacy” is really about Biblical Christianity, what she calls “Christian white nationalism.”[1]
It’s not because only whites can accept the Bible as an authentic document. Many other races and ethnic groups have accepted the Bible as writings inspired by God. The real issue… the one that really matters… is the application of Biblical moral law to the world around us.
Leftists will accept the “Emerging Church” types in their midst, because these people do not accept Biblical moral law as the basis for a civilized society, instead focused on full-tilt socialism and making money on their pet projects.[2] In contrast, leftists are adamant about condemning anyone who holds to even a modicum of key Biblical values. And what are these values? Personal responsibility, not stealing from one’s neighbors, holding down a job or building a business, being honest and truthful on a daily basis, and owning and disposing of personal property. Leftists call these things the mark of “whiteness.”
It is the reason why men like Larry Elder are called the “black face of white supremacy.”[3] It also explains the virulent hatred for women who are labeled “Trad Wives,” simply because they want to be a stay-at-home wife and mother. One does not even have to identify personally as a Christian. If you hold to the ideas of Biblical Christianity, you are condemned for “whiteness.”
Today, the attack on white people is not about “white supremacy,” but about power. The last I checked, virtually every powerful person in the Western world is white. Even the likes of Pierre Omidyar, the founder of eBay, pursues the “white privilege” lifestyle. After all, have you ever noticed that the top “rich and famous” look normal? When was the last time we saw the likes of a Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, or Warren Buffett with nose rings, tats and multi-colored hair? Indeed, it is a strange irony to see white people with power attacking “white supremacy.”
No… the real issue is Biblical morality, something that many average people in the West hold to even if they do not go to church.
The reason for these attacks on “whiteness” is historically simple. As Christianity spread from the Near East, it largely moved into Europe. These areas, though composed of many ethnic groups, were predominantly white. The cradle of Western civilization… along with all of the advances that came with it… were born largely out of white, Christian Europe. As a consequence, leftists attack “whiteness” because they associate Biblical Christianity with the white race.
Put another way… if Biblical Christianity had instead spread into black Africa, all we would hear about today would be slurs against “black supremacy,” and whites accepting Biblical values as being “the white face of black supremacy.”
So, the fight today is not about “whiteness” and “white supremacy.” It’s about Biblical morality, even for those who are not personally Christians, and all the responsibilities… and rights that come with it.
