The Lights Are on and the Roaches are Scattering

The legacy media is fond of chanting, “Democracy dies in darkness.” Of course, they’ve been saying that while they point their probing lights in every direction but where government scandals are happening, and spread hoaxes as an exercise in “talking truth to power.” Apparently the MSM is more interested in posing as the defenders of democracy than preventing its demise. We Americans however, have a different agenda. We demand actual self-governance, and we’ve come to understand that they haven’t been illuminating anything.

“We the people” have known something is amiss for some time. We’ve been hearing those creepy crawly sounds at night for decades. Well, surprise! On November 5 we turned on all the house lights and now we’re watching the cock roaches scatter for cover.

  • Employees of the department of Health and Human services are threatening to quit if the new management expects them to tend to human physical health – rather than pharmaceutical company financial health.
  • The Department of Defense leadership is scrambling to hide what they’ve been working on – which hasn’t been winning wars, projecting strength, or preventing surveillance overflights.
  • In a panic, employees at the FBI have arrested an actual leaker of classified information rather than a former President who stored classified documents under Secret Service protection – to play act law enforcement while they sharpen their resumes and put out feelers.
  • The Department of Justice is shutting down its investigation of Joe Biden’s political opponent, because it was always about election interference rather than law enforcement – and now it’s time to get out of town before the subpoenas start arriving.
  • Half of the deep state bureaucrats are asking for time off to cope while the other half is forming a shadow government to resist the will of the people – to save democracy.

Naturally we hired the best exterminator we could find – Donald J. Trump – because we want our house back.

The Donald looked under the cabinets and down all of the furnace vents and said, “Yup. I’ve seen this before. You’ve got a bad infestation of creeping tyranny. I can tell because of all the scat it’s left behind. You know: lawfare, propaganda, corruption, and dereliction. We’re going to have to bag and fumigate the whole joint. Let me get my crew.”

But now the roaches uniparty members (Dems, RINOs, and not so non-partisan bureaucrats) are unhappy about the crew he showed up with. His guys didn’t show up in white coveralls ready to pose for a pest control commercial. They showed up with a big tent, a bunch of poison, and an unmistakable intent to terminate the vermin with extreme prejudice. The establishment is not happy about the guy hired to do pest control, because it’s starting to look like he’ll actually do pest control. They’re insisting that he change his crew to people who aren’t biased against the roaches – in the name of unity … with the roaches. I know it sounds absurd, but that’s what they want.

But “we the people” aren’t fooled. We don’t want posers. We want results – so we sent a “results” guy to do the job. That the pests are complaining about our choice of exterminators, tells us we’ve picked the right man for the job, and we’re not interested in their objections.

Those offended by Trump’s exterminator technician cabinet choices fail to understand our level of dissatisfaction. Donald Trump won the electoral college in a landslide. He also won the popular vote while shifting every state to the political right. He won that victory even as exit polling indicated that preservation of democracy (i.e. self-governance) was the number one concern of voters. President Elect Donald Trump has a mandate to rid our house of the pestilence that has been eating away at the structure of our republic.

If the people who created this mess interfere with his work, because he’s not playing well with the roaches, we will not be happy. We want our house back and as the election demonstrated, we are still the source of power in this country.
