On 18 November 2025, six Democratic Party members of the Congress, some of whom have military backgrounds, released a video specifically directed to active duty military personnel, encouraging them to resist unlawful orders. That disgraceful event prompted the following comments from a retired veteran with 30 years of active military service:
“From my thirty years of active military service, allow me to offer a comment:
From their initial training and conduct throughout their careers, all members of the military are continually informed of and inculcated with the understanding that the order and discipline of the armed forces depend on the exclusive issuance and performance of “lawful orders.” The video’s blatant, insulting suggestion that members of the armed forces are ignorant of their obligations, or that they have been or are being asked to comply with unlawful orders, therefore exposes the video promulgated by six Democratic Party members as a stupidly inept attempt to gain political advantage by undermining the authority of the commander-in-chief and his administration. Adding insult to injury, by issuing their ill-advised and dangerous video, the “Sedition Six” have offered aid and assistance to those wishing to degrade the order and discipline of our armed forces.
The dictionary definition of “sedition”: “…conduct or speech inciting to rebellion….agitation against the authority of a government.” In view of that definition, President Trump’s recent use of that word in reaction to the video was unquestionably appropriate.”

Amen, Colonel. Any courts martial that my be initiated should begin with the leader of the ‘evil-goblin wing’ of the Democrat party – (okay, okay, even I get it….. that being somewhat of a cheap shot, I’ll leave it to the reader to determine which Dem that ‘leader’ refers).
