Wow! What a difference a year makes. I woke up to three main stories on Saturday morning.
- Nicolás Maduro is out as President of Venezuela, and headed to New York for prosecution.
- Iranians are protesting their Islamic oppressors, and some Mullahs have gone into hiding.
- Donald Trump is a destabilizing threat to world order, by violating the rights of narco and Islamic terrorists.
Clearly, one of these items doesn’t go with the other two. Only the insane could think that battle victories in the war on drugs and the war on terrorism are bad things. Unfortunately, that is our national dilemma. Lunatics vote too.
In 2025, arguably the worst presidency in US history came to an end. President “Autopen” left office with
- The US economy on the brink of collapse,
- Faith in law enforcement destroyed,
- Crime exploding across the nation,
- Fraud becoming a government core competency,
- Expanding world narco and Islamic terrorism,
- Global infringement on human rights,
- War spreading across the globe faster than the Covid virus, and
- Violence becoming the left’s preferred method of political expression.
“Cackles” Harris campaigned that a vote for her, was a vote for more of the above. Yes, that’s what she actually promised, during an appearance on The View. It turns out, it was not a winning argument.
Fortunately, the American electorate heeded the advice of Albert Einstein, and started the new year by trying something different – to get a different result. We placed a builder rather than a political player behind the Resolute Desk.
What a difference our choice has made. In under a year, President Trump has
- Ended the Iranian nuclear threat – at least for the foreseeable future,
- Sealed our southern border,
- Cut inflation down to a manageable level,
- Returned civil order to Washington DC,
- Exposed the fraud inherent in runaway government,
- Uncovered the massive election fraud undermining our self-governance,
- Found 60,000 children lost to slavery by the previous administration,
- Supercharged the economy with private sector investment,
- Forced academia to consider the consequences of grooming in lieu of teaching,
- Gotten Europe to pay for its own defense,
- Realigned US trade,
- Brought the world’s number one sponsor of terrorism to the brink of collapse,
- Ended the communist nightmare in Venezuela, and
- Provided irrefutable proof that the Democrat party is the party of the insane.
Prominent members of the Democrat party have used each of those accomplishments, as arguments that the world must be protected from Donald Trump. They claim that TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) isn’t a mental illness, but a rational reaction to a global threat.
I know many still think that Dem behavior is a manifestation of politics rather than mental illness. For them I have one more example – The Democrat party’s midterm campaign platform. To be clear, I’m not talking about their formal written party platform. I’m talking about what they are saying to win our votes.
The Dems are suggesting that we pull the lever for the “D” rather than the “R” because
- Illegal aliens have a right to be here,
- Crime is blue city right, which shall not be infringed,
- Laws are only constitutional when passed for the advancement of collectivism,
- Government fraud and waste is sacred,
- Narco-pirates are just innocent fishermen with a side business,
- Collectivism is constitutional while self-governance is not, and
- Open debate is a bigger threat to social order than political violence.
The Dems aren’t making those claims just to get social media clicks and campaign donations. They really think those messages will resonate with the American voters. They believe that we will accept good as bad and bad as good. In short, they believe we’re as nuts as they are – to the point of being disconnected from reality (i.e. deranged, Trump deranged).
Unfortunately, in 2024, 42 percent of the electorate believed bad was good and voted for the status quo. I suspect it’s because TDS is somewhat communicable. We’ll have to wait for this November to see if the contagion has spread or has been contained.
