It Is Not Enough To Make The Comeback, You Have To Stick The Landing: Stalking The Mid-Terms
A disturbing recent poll indicated that some over 60% of voters-largely democrats, but many independents and some RINOs-“still” believe that there is something to the Trump-Putin collusion lies that characterized the Hillary Rodham Clinton (HRC) led, Obama Administration touted faux Russia Russia Russia Pee Pee hoax that was aided and abetted by the totality of the Obama administration and the LSMBTGA.
Which seems-particularly for those of us who have followed each debunking, undermining narrative in turn at this point-astounding to think that some of our fellow Americans are so gullible, ill-informed, or even worse, ignorant (as in lacking knowledge.)
What’s a mother to do about this (he cried?)
Team Trump needs to put together a movie-The Greatest Comeback in World Political History: The Story of President Donald J. Trump’s Return to the Presidency.
The movie needs to be completed not later than mid-July 2026: in time to be released before early-voting starts in many states. If at least 10% of the electorate that harbors the delusion about Pee Pee Gate can be reached it will be worth it.
The movie needs to be a collaboration of a handful of advisors and experts that intuitively know the message that needs to be told and the themes that need to be emphasized, although-in truth or point of fact-it is a story that writes-tells-itself.
It will take collaboration, coordination, teamwork and Trump energy to pull it off. My first cut at key players in no particular order include Steven Miller, Elon Musk, Dinesh D’Souza, Dan Bongino, Steve Bannon, Richard Grenelle, Michael Flynn, Scott Pressler, Scott LoBaido, Erika Kirk (TP USA), and the brain trust of Hollywood Ambassadors that includes Jon Voight, Sylvester Stallone and Mel Gibson.
Why a movie or documentary? Because an ad campaign or short documentary won’t have the impact-the punch-necessary to tell the story.
The most important aspect of the effort is the timing: it has to be in theaters and available for Podcasts and Networks across America by July 2026. Completing and releasing it after September 2026 is too late.
The second most important aspect is the messaging. There is a fine line between impactful messaging and boring storylines that lack a punch.
If I were king for a day the themes I would consider include the compare and contrast of performance against the topics voters care about (from Trump 1, Biden 1 and Trump 2) including education, the border, economy (affordability,) overdose deaths, inflation, unemployment, homelessness, military, Ukraine/Israel/foreign policy, climate, trans, government corruption, pedo justice, and opportunity. Somewhat of a contrast from Trump pre-Covid through the Biden years to Trump 2025-2026.
The specific issues to highlight include the HRC server and email scandal and coverup by the Obama Administration led by Obama-executed by Comey, the Russia Russia Russia Pee Pee Gate Hoax and collusion initiated by HRC but led by the Obama Administration, the railroading of Michael Flynn, the collusion by the Obama Administration that produced the release of the Steele Dossier in January 2017, the conniving that resulted in the Mueller appointment, the Trump impeachments, the 6 Jan insurrection scheme contrasted with the ANTIFA and Black Liberation Revival Movement “summer of love” that drove a President out of the White House, a touch and go on election fraud 2020, lawfare highlights from 2021 through 2024 including the infamous raid, culminating in the election 2024 results.
The overall strategy for the effort is obviously to tout Trump’s comeback against all odds. To me the bigger goal is to expose the conniving, colluding, sycophantic lawfare actions of what should come across as the enemies-the bad guys-in the story, which is a long list of folks whose evil ways come through without much emphasis at all, inherent in describing their part in attempting to prevent Trump’s return.
That list certainly includes all the characters involved in the above themes, with the primary targets Obama, Clinton, Soros, Pelosi, Biden, Garland, Wray, Holder, Clapper, Brennan, James, Smith, etc.
One of the subtle narratives important to getting the message across includes the timelines of many of the above themes. Also, the nuances of many actions where the primary bad guys had to jump major hoops and innovate novel actions to go after Trump, going so far as to create new legislation and precedents colluding with a justice system that was anything but, while contrasting those like Trump who were gone after through every artifice imaginable, while others received no attention at all-even when caught.
Picture lady liberty on the scale of justice with one eye uncovered as dung is piled on by folks like Smith or James and the courts (which is where artists like Scott LoBaido come-in.)
The critical importance of getting the story out-the message-before the mid-terms can’t be stressed enough: in the military the point would receive three stomps-this is critically important.
Is this really necessary to do? You bet your life it is-just think back a few years where inflation went up to nearly 10%, prices for consumer goods across the board went up over 30%, the price of gasoline doubled, etc., etc. The Trump impeachments resulting from democrats in charge of the house. Nancy Pelosi inviting the President to address congress and the nation and then petulantly and ceremoniously ripping up his speech to get her Hollywood minute of fame.
People forget how bad things were when they get better. They get comfortable, allow the “little things” to stop bothering them, start to assume that things are good and nothing special needs to be done to take care of business. They fail to show up in the crunch, because (of whatever excuse-doing nails, run to the store, busy with work, sick, whatevs-which is why the genius and hard work of Scott Pressler’s get out the vote effort merits his inclusion in the team.)
We all remember (don’t we) when many of us did the lemming-thing and helped elect President Clinton by falling for the goofy notion that an important point could be made by voting for a third party candidate like Ross Perot over George Bush. Many of us literally thought we were making a statement about the importance of a viable third party or option: how did that work out for us (dumbarse Max?) Do I regret it? Well, my one time voting as an officer in the military was a dud…Did the Bush campaign trumpet a message that a vote for Perot would elect Clinton? Not that I heard…
Remember how bad Jimmy Carter lost after his disastrous first team? The electorate that voted based on future performance in light of past results is nowhere to be found anymore in an era of partisanship and Stepford voting, although they made a statement in election 2024.
The biggest issue for the mid-terms is going to be messaging, motivation and turnout. The party in power typically gets schwacked in the mid-terms. If you have any doubts that Trump will be impeached near immediately-frequently and often-if the democrats take congress, then you are a major target of this movie and story.
The get out the vote effort in 2026 has to be monumental with clones of Scott Pressler active around the country: we should already be hearing about it.
Great stories do not become the greatest stories without completing the deal. You can’t tell a great story-like Trump’s comeback-unless it is completed. It won’t matter if he loses the mid-terms, and it will make problematic election 2028.
Think of how fast the dullards in the Biden Administration turned around-for the worse-the economy, gas prices, the cost of goods, inflation, the border, healthcare, education, etc.
A subtlety is that a great achievement that falls short in the end becomes a mere footnote in history. When the Miami Dolphins punctuated their record 1972 undefeated season by winning the Super Bowl, that achievement stands to this day.
Now my Patriots football team has made a miraculous turn-around this year (and yes-I know-but kiss it) but it will all be as lamentable as completing a perfect regular season but failing to win the Super Bowl-even while winning more games than the previous standard-or worse, getting the wish for a second shot, and blowing that one too.
If they don’t finish by winning the Super Bowl, e.g., sticking the landing, it will just be a great comeback season. It could happen and they have a much better chance than dozens and dozens of other teams at this point…
I described the potential for the greatest comeback in history (Hail Mary: The Greatest Political Comeback in American History) in July 2024, which came to fruition 8 November 2024 as Trump did the unthinkable-unimaginable (for his foes and the LSMBTGA).
I don’t think it was that surprising a win, given the dynamics leading up to it-his barnstorming, genius marketing skills and ability to get non-stop coverage-good and bad-from the entirety of the largely adversarial LSMBTGA. A total dominating and winning strategy in marked contrast to his political opponents hide the sausage, dodge any and all hard questions, avoid difficult situations, minimalist faux campaign largely with those already in the tank for “the cause” (le cause, le cause.)
Nobody ever questioned what Trump was running on. The story-comeback-was much more about the journey than the outcome-although the outcome is epic!
Whereas the Biden campaign that Harris inherited lacked energy, coherence or clarity, characterized by incoherent strategy that touted “joy” and being a “happy warrior” (which was not discernable or believable,) suffering from the lack of a describable-relatable plan or energy. Reminiscent of “hope and change,” only this time the “hope that you like us and will set aside our dismal performance for the last 4 years,” with basically no change, given the commitment to continue doing what they were doing regardless of how aberrant that “doing” was to most voters, it should not have been a surprise to many that Trump won.
There was a four-year record available to compare between the two potential administrations. There is only so much hate in the tank to vote against-rather than for-a candidate, and in the final analysis that (contrast of results) likely made all the difference.
But that was yesterday and this is today.
If Team Trump loses the mid-terms, the evidence of which will be control of congress and the tools of governance, it will not quite be for naught but will certainly make problematic pursuing the Trump agenda that nearly 80 million American voters opted for in November 2024.
Trump will be busy defending himself against impeachment(s)-and if the senate switches control-the impeachment will come to fruition in the current political climate where we have much less of a congress duty bound for the American people and much more an environment where we have two sides. One of which is committed to winning at all costs, no matter what is required, while one side seeks to solve problems and govern in accordance with the constitution (much of the time.)
We can loathe and disparage and grit our teeth at the notion of a lock-step party going after their political foes, or conversely a political party unwilling to “stoop to those levels,” but the bottom-line truth is that you can’t govern if you are not in charge.
The Greatest Political Comeback In American And World History: The Donald J. Trump Story (the movie.)
Pass the word and spread the message.
There is just enough time to pull this off.
