A missing US service member whose F-15 jet was shot down over Iran has been rescued by US forces in an operation that involved “dozens of aircraft,” President Donald Trump said. He added that the service member “sustained injuries, but he will be just fine.”
The high-stakes search began Friday after an F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jet was shot down in the region. Another crew member was rescued shortly after the crash and is receiving medical attention, CNN previously reported.
