A Few Honest Thoughts About President Trump

I want to make something clear about my support for President Donald Trump. Supporting many of his policies does not mean I approve of his personality, every word that comes out of his mouth, or every person he chooses to place around him. I do not believe Christians are called to surrender their judgment to a political party, and I certainly do not believe we are supposed to turn any president into an object of devotion.

“Trump’s Luck” Explained: When preparation meets opportunity

There is an old formulation, often attributed to the Roman philosopher Seneca, that luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. It is a useful lens for examining the last eighteen months of the Trump administration, because it exposes the intellectual laziness — and, more often, the cynical political motive — behind the Democrat-media complex’s favored explanation for nearly every Trump-era success: that he simply got lucky.

Trump Shouldn’t Rush Iran Strategy: Rep. Issa

Republican Congressman Darrell Issa of California reacts to President Trump’s threats against Oman, saying the President’s comments should be taken “in context.” Issa describes the confrontation with Iran as a 47-year problem and says Trump shouldn’t feel pressured to resolve it on a political timeline, arguing that appearing to be in a hurry would play into Iran’s hands. He also discusses conditions aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln as the USS George Washington makes its way to the region to relieve the carrier. He speaks with Kailey Leinz and Joe Mathieu on the late edition of Bloomberg’s “Balance of Power.”

The Real Global Oil Crisis Has Not Begun – Yet. Gird Your Loins….

That launch date was February 28th. Today is July 13th. We’re approaching five months of little to no oil getting through the Strait.

That’s so far resulted in 1+ billion fewer barrels in global circulation.

Here’s what we don’t seem to know

BREAKING: US strikes Iran for seventh consecutive night, targeting military infrastructure

Ret. U.S. Navy commander John ‘Fozzie’ Miller discusses U.S. Central Command’s seventh consecutive night of strikes targeting Iran’s military infrastructure and supply routes on ‘Kudlow.’

The World sees America is great again: Trump is crazy as a fox and as wily as the Road Runner.

Destroying Iran’s military threat to the world bounced President Trump’s approval back to 49% in the latest Rasmussen Poll. That’s his maximum just as it was for Lincoln. While the media claims the world has turned against him, the fact is he and America are on the top of the world, looking down on creation.

Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., discusses GOP efforts to pass the SAVE America Act before Congress’ August recess and the United States resuming a naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz on ‘The Bottom Line.’
