America is the oldest, continuous modern Republic on Earth.
And Uber Super Power America has imperial power and responsibilities without imperial ambitions.
Above all, America is absolutely unique.
America is the first nation-state created by a piece of paper. Created by a declaration, forged by winning a war against the most powerful country in the world, educated by the King James Bible, and dedicated to a deliberate, specific set of ideas.
The specific ideas about individual sovereignty, God-given individual rights, limited government by the consent of the governed, inviolate ownership of property, the Rule of Law, Natural Law, Christian faith and tolerance, equality and fairness, and the open opportunities of free market economics are as new and vibrant today as they were 250 years ago.
American ideas are ascendant still. They speak to a soaring human spirit. They embody the optimism of the Enlightenment and the courageous determination of a frontier society. They reflect a war-fighting, but very un-militaristic, people. They are grounded in eternal Biblical truth.
Those specific ideas were the consensus Culture for American Civilization until 1962. America’s original minorities and all incoming immigrants assimilated as Americans by adopting those ideas as their own.
As the ideas held in the Biblical worldview of the American Revolution defined America, America itself, as a country, became an ascending idea.
By 1962, the long march of the Human Secularist Totalitarian ideas of the French Revolution captured enough of some regional and urban American Sub-Cultures and one political party to divide America with the Great U.S. Culture War.
Clearly by 2000, the split grew to cleave America in half.
America at 250 is still an ascending idea. An ascending idea at a crossroads of ideologies.
Human Secularist Totalitarianism costumed as Cultural Marxism, while calling itself Democratic Socialism, and Muslim Totalitarianism fronted by barbaric Islam as a religion are aligned against traditional America.
This isn’t the first crossroads of national identity and purpose.
The 19th Century opened Americanism to every ethnicity.
The 20th Century affirmed equal opportunity for women and ethnic minorities as individual citizens. Additionally, when America crossed the threshold of a World Power and then a Super Power, its role in International Affairs became part of its purpose. America’s titular leadership of the Free World actually meant the leader of Western Civilization.
The 21st Century will resolve the future of Western Civilization facing the population bomb of Muslim and Third World immigration.
The Biblical worldview of the American Revolution or the Cultural Marxist worldview of Human Secularist Totalitarianism will win the U.S. Culture War. One way or another.
America will lead or abandon Western Civilization at the same time America determines which ideas guide America or what remains of America to guide.
Ironically, America returns to the fundamental identity and purpose issues we faced in 1776.
Who are we as Americans?
What are these United States of America?
At age 250, America is more than set of ideas, more than a Creed.
Now, Americans are an indigenous People with a unique history in one place. American Sub-Cultures are unified by our shared history and Civilization.
Consequently, Americans by heritage and naturalized Americans are both fully American only when they fully assimilate and accept our uniquely American ideas as their own.
And, when they are passionate enough to pay the blood tax in American wars.
Since ideas motivate humans for good or evil, America should choose as wisely and bravely as in 1776. Words have meaning. The consequences of ideas matter in the lives of all Americans.
And so they will for all time.
The Patriots of 1776 fought a brutal war to birth our America.
Patriots in 2026 know freedom isn’t free.
