Islam doesn’t rise to the level of a real religion in Western Civilization. It’s at the same level of civilization as the Aztec religion. No one should treat it the same as the other religions in Western Civilization – Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and Protestant Christianity, Judaism, and Secular Humanism. (Yes, Secular Humanism is a religion. A modern paganism, but still a modern faith that supports a totalitarian ideology). Moreover, Islam is an ideology, identity, and a complete, backward, barabaric culture which is the inherent, implacable, irredeemable enemy of Western Civilization.
Can Muslims live in Western Civilization. Yes, of course, as long as they don’t practice Islam. As long as they don’t follow the Koran and a Hadith.
Islam has a bloody history with a much higher body count than the Aztecs.
Islam kills non-believers. It has since Mohammed’s first mass murder of Jews at Banu Qurayza in 627 AD. No religion in today’s Western Civilization advocates killing non-believers.
Only Islam divides the world into the world at “war” and the world conquered and under submission to Islam. Since Western Civilization is Dar al-Harb, the House of War, to Islam, Islam declares itself at war with Western Civilization. A “religion” warring against you shouldn’t be welcomed to ecumenical conferences, public ceremonies, or any other form of legitimization.
Only Islam declares the punishment for leaving the “religion” is death. Check out any school of Islamic law, Sharia. Ask AI for Sunni or Shia, what is the punishment for an adult Moslem male to commit apostasy? Ans: Death. No religion in Western Civilization has the legal authority or the theological demand to kill anyone who walks away from their former religious belief.
The wars of religion and killing religious dissidents or even denying them a single personal liberty are centuries in the past.
Islam never had a Renaissance, Reformation, Enlightenment, or Great Awakening. Islam is over 800 years behind Western Civilization.
Islam’s Sharia is a clear and present danger to the U.S. Constitution because it replaces federal, state, and local laws with religious law. Sharia is sedition.
The Koran forbids criticism of the murdering, illiterate “prophet” Mohammed. Islam criminalizes forbidden speech. Even punishes making a likeness of Mohammed. Islam is the opposite of our First Amendment freedom of religion.
And, Islam should never be allowed to hide behind the protections for civilized religions in the U.S.
Islam’s status is much like Communism, when it was labeled in the 1954 McCarran Act – an ideological enemy of the U.S. An ideology advocating the overthrow of our Constitutional Republic and making America another backward theocracy in the Muslim global ummah.
Too many useful fools vacuously virtue signal when they claim Islam is the third Abrahamic monotheism. Islam’s claim to Abraham is like every other story stolen from the Torah or Bible by Mohammed’s imagination and plugged inaccurately into the Koran.
Islam’s Halal slaughter of animals is more savage barbarism. Cruelty to animals isn’t acceptable in Western Civilization.
The history of Islam is conquest, killing, rape, slavery, arson, and subjugation. The holy texts – Koran and Hadith – support constant warfare with Jihad.
Furthermore, the history of Islam is Muslim factions claiming to be the “true” Islam murdering each other as much as they murder non-Believers.
If that isn’t enough to calibrate how Islam isn’t the equal of Western religions and shouldn’t be given the respect or honorifics appropriate to civilized religions, there’s the Muslims’ dislike of dogs.
Anyone who doesn’t love dogs, clearly, isn’t civilized.
