This is the third post in the ongoing weekly feature that highlights news and commentary on important geopolitical, cultural, and economic issues that the Democrat-media complex buries because they expose the hypocrisies associated with the continuing Marxist-Democrat narrative. Everything is properly sourced and linked for follow-up reading, whether from legacy media, independent sources, or social media.

EXCOMMUNICATION! The Catholic Church teaches that human life begins at conception and must be protected from that moment as a fundamental right; direct abortion is therefore an intrinsic moral evil and a grave sin that is never permissible under any circumstances, as affirmed in the Catechism of the Catholic Church and documents such as Evangelium Vitae. Despite those teachings, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey (D), a supposed practicing Catholic, and surrounded by fellow female followers of Moloch, gleefully signed a broad new law legalizing abortion up to the moment of birth.
The Church regards formal, obstinate public support for abortion as incompatible with full communion. Canon 915 allows denial of Holy Communion to those persevering in manifest grave sin. Formal (ferendae sententiae) penalties, including declared excommunication, remain possible at the discretion of the local ordinary (in this case, the Archbishop of Boston) for reasons of scandal, heresy, or persistent rejection of Church teaching on the sanctity of life from conception.

Democrats Behind Texas Anchor Baby Hospital Network. Anchor babies are children born in the U.S. to non-citizen parents (often undocumented immigrants). Under the 14th Amendment’s birthright citizenship clause, these children automatically acquire U.S. citizenship at birth, as determined by a recent Supreme Court decision that struck down President Trump’s birthright citizenship executive order that is still hotly debated. Critics argue that parents may later use the child’s citizenship as an “anchor” to seek legal status, residency, or eventual citizenship for themselves through family-based immigration petitions once the child reaches adulthood.
The Democrat-media complex hailed the Supreme Court decision and support open borders – useful idiots for the globalists. Thus, it is no surprise that investigative journalist Natalie Winters has discovered that “[t]wo Texas hospitals under investigation for allegedly marketing childbirth packages to foreign women belong to a politically connected healthcare empire led by a Biden-honored billionaire and a member of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s leadership network.”
The Democrat-media complex have buried this story because they don’t want Americans to be reminded that they support open borders and, by extension, voting “rights” for illegal aliens and ballot harvesting of those illegal votes. And they certainly don’t want Americans to know that Democrat donors are funding Texas hospitals market “Birth Packages in South Texas” to pregnant women abroad! Ukraine Money-Laundering. Allegations of money-laundering of U.S. foreign aid to Ukraine during and after the Obama presidency involve potentially hundreds of millions to billions in assistance (including loan guarantees and security aid after 2014). These funds were allegedly diverted through corrupt Ukrainian networks, oligarchs, or NGOs, with some versions asserting that funds were improperly steered or that Vice President Joe Biden’s anti-corruption pressure protected personal family interests after his son Hunter joined the board of the energy firm Burisma and received substantial payments.
The article below reports that “[f]ormer Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, the official Joe Biden publicly threatened and forced out of office in 2016, claims in his book Biden’s Corruption and War: The True Story of the 1 Billion Dollar Prosecutor that hundreds of billions of American taxpayer dollars connected to Ukraine were recycled through political interests and ‘globalist networks.’” This would mean that U.S. taxpayers are funding anti-American globalist policies such as open borders without their knowledge (and with the complicity of the Democrat Party and their RINO allies).
The Democrat-media complex have been covering for Biden for years (refer to last week’s news summary). In the case of Ukraine, there are likely other top Democrats who could be exposed, too. Read more about the issue here:
Tax Returns Jump Thanks to Trump! The Democrat-media complex has been bad-mouthing of the extension of a package of expiring tax cuts as “tax relief for billionaires” as part of their messaging for the mid-term elections. Now comes reporting that the IRS refunded $296 billion during the 2026 filing season, a 17% increase from 2025. And the average refund also increased by $333, or 11%, compared with 2025 tax returns. Imagine that! However, the Democrat-media complex are silent as lambs on this subject, which reinforces that the OBBB was indeed about “America First.” Read more about the issue here:
The U.S. Manufacturing Boom. More good news buried by the Democrat-media complex! Steve Cortes reports that “[a] manufacturing boom is unfolding across America right now, and especially so in the geographic center of the country.” He brings the receipts: “The most-watched gauge of productive activity, the ISM Manufacturing Index, just surged to a fresh four-year high” while “[c]onstruction jobs related directly to factories and trade are soaring under President Donald Trump at 10 times the pace he inherited from former President Joe Biden.”
This is further evidence that the economic and tax incentives in the OBBB are paying off bigly. Once again, the Democrat-media complex refuse to report great economic news. Read more of what they’re hiding here:
DSA Influencers Sell Communism. Hasan Piker is a Turkish-American Twitch streamer, YouTuber, and left-wing political commentator; he has millions of followers across platforms and is one of the most prominent leftist voices online, especially among younger audiences. he identifies as a socialist (sometimes described as Marxist-leaning or democratic socialist). He supports progressive causes such as universal healthcare, strong labor rights, LGBTQ+ rights, anti-imperialism, and Palestinian solidarity/anti-Zionism. He is strongly critical of capitalism, U.S. foreign policy, and the mainstream Democratic Party (which he views as too centrist or insufficiently left), while being firmly anti-Trump and anti-Republican.
Piker has been a big supporter of DSA candidates this year, including Zohran Mamdani (NYC), Abdul El-Sayed (Michigan senate race), Francesca Hong (Wisconsin governor race), Melat Kiros (Colorado congressional race), and many others at the state and local level.
The Democrat-media complex have been keeping the political views of Piker and other DSA-supporting influencers under wraps as best as they are able. The reason is that their politics and positions are pure communism, right down to the subliminal messaging conveyed when Piker wears his Zhongshan suit — aka the Mao suit — in public. The New York Post report that “[i]t’s named after Chinese nationalist revolutionary Sun Zhongshan, and it became the standard uniform of the Chinese Communist Party.” Never mind that the CCP has killed over 100 million people over the past 100 years. But the Democrat-media complex don’t want you to know that because they are counting on “DSA energy” to help put them over the top in the mid-terms this year. Read more here:
The Collapse of Hollywood. Over the past decade, the Hollywood film and television industry has experienced a marked contraction concentrated in Los Angeles County. Employment in the motion picture and sound recording sector there fell by 52,000 film/TV jobs since 2022, with nearly all of those losses occurring in LA County. Film shoot days in the LA region declined by nearly 50% since 2019, and sound-stage occupancy fell sharply (to around 60%).
These job losses have translated into substantial economic impacts for California, with earlier analyses estimating roughly $7.7–8 billion in forgone economic activity (plus over $350 million in state and local tax revenue) from runaway productions between 2015 and 2020 alone, and more recent assessments attributing additional billions in lost output to the state’s declining share of production. Production has increasingly relocated to lower-cost or higher-incentive locations, including U.S. states such as Georgia, New Mexico, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, and Louisiana, as well as countries including Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and others, driven by more competitive tax credits, lower overall costs, and the post-streaming-boom industry contraction.
Meanwhile, top California Democrats, including Gov. Gavin Newsom and Attorney General Bonta, are digging the hole deeper, much to the chagrin of even a few other Democrats in the state. Newsom is fighting to limit the state’s Film & Television Tax Credit Program while Bonta launched an all-out effort to prevent the merger of Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery. Needless to say, the Democrat-media complex want to keep this evolving story under wraps, too, as Hollywood is a major donor source for the Party.
Historic Low in Drug Prices. The Democrat Party (and echoed endlessly by their legacy media sycophants) are big on “affordability” this year. In their reckoning, affordability in 2026 centers on the high cost of living as a crisis created or worsened by Republican policies under President Trump, with a pledge to lower everyday expenses for working and middle-class families. Never mind that Americans are still reeling from the 21% increase in commodities prices due to Biden-era inflation that dramatically raised prices long before Trump 2.0 began.
Along comes this breaking news report: “Prescription drug prices in the United States have recorded their largest annual decline in over 60 years.” The Democrats and their Big Pharma and health insurance industry donors must be big mad about that! At any rate, the Democrat-media complex is dead silent about this great news affecting millions of Americans. Read more about it here:
Major Food Safety Breakthrough. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), part of the Department of Health and Human Services, is the primary federal agency responsible for regulating the safety of most of the nation’s food supply—roughly 75–80% of the food Americans consume. This includes domestic and imported produce, dairy products, seafood (except certain catfish), processed and packaged foods, bottled water, infant formula, dietary supplements, and food additives.
Under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) of 2011, the FDA focuses on preventing contamination rather than merely reacting to problems. Its responsibilities encompass setting safety standards, requiring facility registration and preventive controls, conducting inspections of manufacturing and processing facilities, monitoring for chemical and microbial contaminants, ensuring accurate labeling and packaging, approving food additives and colors, overseeing food defense against intentional adulteration, and coordinating recalls or outbreak responses when needed.
Amazingly, Calley Means, a senior advisor to the Dept. of Health and Human Services, disclosed in an interview on ABC News that the FDA admits they have no idea about 10,000+ chemicals allowed into our foods introduced WITH NO SAFETY STUDIES over the past 30+ years because they were self-approved by Big Food.” As a result, the Trump administration is closing the “self-approval loophole” for chemicals introduced into food products through the proposed GRAS Reform, “Generally recognized as safe,” which would go into effect after the public comment period ends in December 2026.
The GRAS reform is widely regarded as a major issue within the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) agenda. MAHA, led by HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., prioritizes reducing chronic disease by transforming the U.S. food system, with a strong focus on ultra-processed foods, chemical additives, and greater transparency in what enters the food supply. The longstanding “self-affirmed GRAS” pathway—allowing companies to introduce substances without notifying the FDA—has been repeatedly criticized by Kennedy and MAHA advocates as a key “loophole” that enables unvetted ingredients in America’s food supply chain. Note: MAHA is a major part of the Trump coalition, and the Democrat-media complex have been working overtime to diminish MAHA support for the president’s agenda. As a result, the reporting on the GRAS reform by the Democrat-media complex is paltry.

Some Democrats Waking Up in New York? The ongoing disaster that is the DSA Mamdani administration in New York City may be finally waking up a few Democrats there. The list of socialist policies being implemented continues to grow:
· Rent freeze on approximately 1 million rent-stabilized apartments (0% increases approved by the mayor-appointed Rent Guidelines Board majority for one- and two-year leases).
· Launch and expansion of government-funded free 2-K and expanded 3-K childcare programs (state-city partnership providing thousands of free seats for toddlers, with plans for broader universal free coverage ages 6 weeks to 5 years).
· City-owned municipal grocery stores (pilot network of five government-operated stores, one per borough, using public buildings/funds to sell at subsidized/wholesale prices; first site selected at La Marqueta in East Harlem).
· Publicly funded “Block by Block” housing plan ($28 billion scale) mandating construction/preservation of hundreds of thousands of government-subsidized affordable units, $40 minimum wage on city-linked construction work, and promotion of housing cooperatives and community land trusts.
· Efforts toward fare-free city buses (government absorption of fare revenue via expanded bus lanes/infrastructure and ongoing push for full free service, paired with MTA coordination).
· Proposed and pursued tax increases targeting high earners (2% surcharge on incomes over $1 million) and corporations (raising top corporate rate toward 11.5%) plus pied-à-terre taxes on high-value second homes to fund the above programs.
· Expanded tenant-protection offices, enforcement against landlords, and related regulations that intervene in private rental markets.
· New city rules banning junk fees and “click-to-cancel” mandates on private businesses/subscriptions.
Needless to say, the Democrat-media complex are silent about the creeping communism in the (fading) “financial capital of the world,” and they certainly are keeping this big news under wraps. As reported at the linked article below, “James Dolan – owner of the New York Knicks and Rangers and Madison Square Garden in which they play – donated $1.4 million this year to committees supporting Bruce Blakeman, the Republican nominee running against Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul. In the past, he gave $2 million to Madison Square Garden’s super PAC, which has historically supported moderate Democrats, including Hochul.” Is it too late to save NYC from the communists?
Dead People Okay on North Carolina Voter Rolls. Just when you thought the Democrats couldn’t be any more insane, along comes news that North Carolina’s Democrat Gov. Josh Stein vetoed a bill that requires the state to cross-check voter registration rolls with death records. We’ve known for years that the Democrats have built an election fraud machine that stuffs voter rolls in blue states with illegal aliens, dead people, and phantom voters and conducting organized ballot harvesting/vote manufacturing from those fake voter records during elections.

El-Sayed’s Mother Worked for Terrorist Group that Financed Osama bin Laden. Lastly, skeletons in the closet of the Democrat/DSA candidate for U.S. senator in Michigan keep getting exposed. The Blaze has reported in the below linked article that “Fatten Fathy Elkomy, El-Sayed’s birth mother, long worked for an Islamic organization that was identified by the U.S. Treasury Department in 2004 as a specially designated global terrorist organization.” Add that to this growing list the the Democrat-media complex are keeping under wraps:
His public statements and positions:
- Equated the Israeli government with Hamas, stating both are “evil” (e.g., CNN interview: “Hamas: Evil. Israeli government: Evil. We can say both,” citing “killing tens of thousands of people”).
- Repeatedly accused Israel of “genocide,” “apartheid,” and war crimes; called for ending unconditional U.S. military aid/arms sales to Israel (and treating it like a “rogue nation”); described Israeli actions as “bloodthirsty.”
- Suggested the need to “understand” the “pain and frustration and a level of lack of agency” that drives people to commit “heinous acts” of terrorism.
- On the second anniversary of the October 7, 2023, Hamas attacks, sent a fundraising email criticizing Israel’s Gaza operations while initially omitting mention of the Hamas attack itself (a separate statement that day did condemn Hamas’s “heinous attack”).
- After a March 2026 truck-ramming attack on a Michigan synagogue (perpetrator cited family members killed in a Lebanon airstrike), responded in part with “Hurt people hurt people.”
- Struggled with or redirected questions on whether Israel has a right to exist as a Jewish state (e.g., questioning the premise, prioritizing equal rights for Palestinians/Israelis, or focusing on U.S. tax dollars instead).
- Accepted endorsements from Americans for Justice in Palestine (AJP) Action (linked by critics to networks with past Hamas fundraising ties via American Muslims for Palestine) and an Arab American PAC led by Osama Siblani (who has praised Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah as a “hero” and responded to “death to Israel” chants).
- Campaigned alongside streamer Hasan Piker (who has said he would choose Hamas over Israel “every single time,” described Hamas as superior, and previously claimed America “deserved” 9/11); El-Sayed defended the association as free speech while calling Piker’s 9/11 remark “stupid.”
His familial ties are equally shocking:
- Birth mother Fatten Fathy Elkomy (refer to article linked below).
- Father-in-law Tayeb Jukaku (also referred to as Jukaku Tayeb) has held leadership roles including on the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) founders committee and as a board director/president of CAIR’s Michigan chapter. Both ISNA and CAIR were named as unindicted co-conspirators/joint venturers in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism-financing case (which resulted in convictions for funneling millions to Hamas). Jukaku has been a significant donor to a super PAC supporting El-Sayed.
- A half-sister has been reported as praising the October 7 attacks and rebuking figures (including Bernie Sanders) for condemning Hamas.
Meanwhile, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has strongly backed Abdul El-Sayed after his Michigan primary victory and vowed that the Democratic “big tent” approach to intraparty feuds will succeed in taking back the Senate in the fall midterms. Only if Michiganders are ignorant about the above revelations!

Here ends the third weekly summary of news items that the Democrat-media complex ignore or obfuscate because they don’t fit their political narrative or – worse for them – actually destroy their evolving political narrative(s).
