The commie wannabes started changing the rules of due process about a nanosecond after the Donald said he intended to make America great again. Now they don’t like the new rules.
The Lynch/Garland/Brennen/Comey/Wray/Smith cabal criminally pursued a sitting President with
- Fabricated predicates (Steele dossier),
- Falsified affidavits (Clinesmith warrant application),
- Planted evidence (classified coversheets added to Mar-a-Lago raid documents), and
- Improperly applied laws (January 6th prosecutions).
In short, our Washington swamp overlords tossed out all of the safeguards intended to protect the innocent, in order to prevent us from electing our chosen President. They justify their actions by claiming they were “defending democracy” … from us.
For years, lawyer, comedian, novelist, and editorial badass, Kurt Schlichter has been warning that the “nobody is above the law” crowd isn’t going to like the new rules – when the rules they changed are applied to them. Well, they did the “effing” around anyway, and now they’ve entered the FO stage of the FAFO process. Now, that “nobody is above the law” rule is being applied with the enthusiasm of James Carville dropping f-bombs on broadcast television.
It has taken a bit of time for the Trump DoJ to get their ducks lined up. But now the anti-America commies are “finding out” what it’s like to be on the receiving end of their new rules. We’re starting to see evidence of prosecutable cases.
- Former FBI Director James Comey – indicted.
- Former CIA Director John Brennen – under investigation by the Department of Justice.
- Former Director of National Security James Clapper – Subpoenaed by a grand jury.
And the most recent beneficiary of “turnabout is fair play”? Ingrate Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Mogadishu) is under investigation by the Department of Homeland Security.
Congresswoman Omar has faced serious allegations about her immigration from Somalia for years. The allegations range from falsification of immigration and naturalization applications, to illegally marrying her brother to defraud the American people. Now she has entered the middle stage of our “actions have consequences” process for maintaining civil order – evidence collection.
On September 15, Border Czar Tom Homan disclosed that Omar was the subject of an immigration investigation. It turns out, Homan is a man of his word. The Department of Homeland Security raided Omar’s Washington home, in the early hours of October 12. It was reminiscent of the Garland authorized raids on a whole plethora of threats to Democrat party hegemony (e.g. James O’Keefe’s o-dark thirty raid). No advance warning, no attorney notification, executed pre-dawn, with press invited along to film the accused in their jammies – all consistent with the new rules created to target MAGA.
Omar is of course outraged, stating:
I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation.
That sounds a lot like what we were saying, way back in 2023, when the old rule said that executing search warrants and issuing indictments that could affect an election was verboten. But the Dems have never understood that short-term gratification comes with long-term consequences (e.g. Harry Reid’s nuking of the filibuster for judicial confirmations). So here we are.
What evidence was collected is currently unknown. But if she is found to have become a citizen under false pretenses (like not being a minor as claimed), she could be stripped of her citizenship, jailed, and even deported to Somalia – retaking residence with the people she claims to represent.
Vice President Vance commented about the allegation that she committed bigamy (marrying her brother while still married to another man) to commit immigration fraud:
You read the things about Ilhan Omar … who she married and whether she didn’t marry this person or that person, it certainly seems like something fishy is there, but everybody’s entitled to equal justice under the law.
By “equal justice under law,” does he mean justice equal to the justice which Donald Trump received? If so, I have a few questions:
- Was the search warrant issued with authorization to use lethal force?
- Were Omar and her legal representation prohibited from witnessing the search of her home?
- Will the Department of Homeland Security be making photos of what they found in Omar’s home public?
- Have the phone records of Omar, her children, close associates, and lawyers been collected?
- Have the movements of her children and spouse been tracked?
- Have financial records of her political donors been collected?
- Will her lawyers be disbarred for representing her?
- Will Minnesota be removing her from the November ballot?
And the Grand Poohbah of all questions: If the immigration investigation stumbles onto evidence of financial fraud (like a connection to the Feeding our Future scandal) will the DHS case become a DoJ case?
It was never a good idea for a political party to use lawfare as a substitute for winning the contest of ideas – but that is where the TDS afflicted have taken us.
According to game theory, when one party unilaterally changes the rules, they must suffer tit-for-tat – the consequences of the new normal which they created. That is the only way to mitigate the probability that they will change the rules again when back in power.
The Democrats will no doubt achieve power again in the future – perhaps sooner rather than later. Unless they suffer painful consequences now, we can expect them to continue their pursuit of one-party rule by means other than winning the consent of the governed. Will they pack the courts? Will they add blue states? Will they undermine election integrity? Will they open the borders and prosecute ICE agents? Will they bankrupt anyone who supported MAGA, just as they did General Flynn? Why wouldn’t they do all of those things, if we refuse to hold them accountable?
Consequences for past bad acts, is the only way to deter future bad acts. The FO aspect of FAFO isn’t for the sadistic pleasure of torturing our tormentors. It is a necessary correction to preserve our republic.
