We Will Not Solve It Until We Attack The Root Causes: Tolerance, Indifference, My Sideism And Lack Of Responsibility And Accountability
Action Thought: Just Because It Is Happening To Your Perceived Enemy Does Not Make It OK Or Righteous
In a long-forgotten article, I metaphorically used Roger William’s hit song “You Can’t Roller Skate In a Buffalo Herd” to make the point that in today’s society one has to be careful about stepping up in defense of our fellow man less the crazed mob take vengeance in fits of pique that defy any sense of culture and civilization in modern history.
My old school perspective reference alludes to the scene of a person or two being pummeled by an out-of-control mob that has no compunction whatsoever about using mob violence tactics against vastly outnumbered humans for the type of slight that would ordinarily not pass muster in a school lunchroom even amongst the perennially aggrieved.
Which to the point of my article indicts society in general, parents in particular (lack thereof) but mostly our leaders from a political and community standpoint, as well as professional athletes.
Which is frankly a pretty broad brush indeed but consider the following before dismissing the broader point I am trying to make here.
If I start from the top—the presidency—many Trump Derangement System (TDS) tards will lurch for the whataboutism button like an alcoholic at happy hour without even stopping to breathe to prevent hyperventilating as they tick down the aggrieved Orange Man Bad list of stuff on their well-funded lefty, anti-Kings cheat sheet for election season 2026.
Some time ago I wrote about such acts by highlighting the ultimate act of futility capping the lunacy that epitomizes the no-Kings leftist dogma represented by those light and no-weight thinkers of the National Felon’s League playing in England where those knuckle-dragging mohrons kneeled for our National Anthem–the Star Spangled Banner–and stood for God Save the Queen.
Perhaps the ultimate gafoonery by an elite, top 1/10th of 1% compensated segment of the US workforce who showed a grasp of history and irony likely to be showcased by Benny Hill or Saturday Night Live (in days past.) What do you expect from an organization and league that spits in the face of their income source through myriad examples of disdain with no ramifications, accountability or competition?
Good luck figuring out what broadcast means is being used this week for one of the three potential football days. The odds are if you don’t have some sort of pay-for-view package and you do not cheer for a local team you might be doing a radio broadcast and a line score play-by-play like it is the 1970s all over again. Or pay for the NFL package which provides tacit approval for all the woke BS.
Inherent stupidity only exceeded by one of the most inexplicable, unbearable, insufferable, self-immolating sports constructs imaginable (but often not believable,) the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA.) Where until recently they struggled to explain what the somewhat apparently confusing “W” in their name actually means.
Who also recently–in a mindless, tone-deaf defiance of all things common sense–conspicuously vacated the floor when it came time for the playing and singing of the National Anthem-only to conspicuously return when the singing of the anthem was completed–prior to the playing of their championship basketball game series between the Golden State Valkyries and the Atlanta Dream.
I’ve written about this pathetic travesty excuse of a professional women’s sports league and also here as this mostly lemming-like, borderline suicidal tendency aggregation of even lighter thinkers than the NFL has demonstrated that they will not take yes and success for an answer.
Perennially aggrieved, psychotically afflicted with “what-about-me syndrome,” seemingly hell-bent on undermining their own success with at least 3 steps back for every positive step forward in the marketing and touting the success of the league in recent years.
In total denial of the elements of their incredible success of the last 3 years that coincides with the rise and addition of Caitlin Clark to the league. The league recently celebrated 30 years of success which throughout has been subsidized by the NBA (the MNBA??) to the tune of about ~40 million dollars a year in annual losses.
Revenue has been on the rise in recent years. Somehow the 30-year celebrating poster did not have room for Caitlan Clark, who is indisputably one of the top, if not the most recognizable woman’s sports figure in the world today: nope, no room for her on the poster…explained away by supposed marketing image rights issues.
You would be forgiven for making assumptions at this point in my article, but hold the horses my TDS afflicted friend, I didn’t mean that president. I meant Obama, the guy who crassly lied to us hundreds of times over the course of his presidency while setting a precedent that it was OK to do so as long as it benefitted his constituents. And even when it didn’t, it was still OK because he was not Bush and he was a democrat and he was likely “your guy.”
Even when Obama’s fiction and storyteller lead Ben Rhodes proudly boasted about a deliberate campaign undertaken to spoon-feed a false narrative—lies–to the Lamestream Social Media, Big Tech, Government, Academia, Non-Government Officials and Foreign operatives (the LSMBTGANF,) misleading the people by abusing and treating the press like a propaganda arm in an information operation campaign intended to provide cover for Obama’s lies, people astoundingly dismissed it like it was a joke or a satire of some sort.
A “republications pounce moment” where the story is contorted and twisted into a dipsy doo, flipperoo whimsical tale of how racist people were in pointing out Ben Rhodes story.
Which was basically a confession and admission not unlike a proud criminal who is dumb and empowered enough to have no fear whatsoever for the consequences of their actions. In this case having deliberately misled the public by using a tactic undertaken to survive the media cycle just long enough to then tell the truth shortly thereafter the spin cycle knowing that their political friends would deep six the facts.
This went on for years until it was incredulously explained in this seminal article that many still totally disregarded in favor of the “republican’s pounce narrative.” There are quite a few of these examples with Rhodes doing exactly the above. Explaining how he and his colluding conspirator Obama spun a yarn to cover culpability for actions Obama knew the public did not and would not support.
Doing it anyway, whether from hubris, arrogance, stubbornness—whatever—and then inexplicably having Rhodes pretty much brag about the operation as if it was something to be proud of while those who were the target of the operation—in particular the lamestream media—took it like the Stepford Wives they were, seemingly happy to be of service to the Obama Presidency.
Even when the Obama White House spokesperson was forced to admit “they lied,” they being Obama, people still dismissed it like it was OK because of what I labeled above as my sideism…
Nowhere was this more evident than what I labeled as Obamagate, when Obama went after President-elect Trump in a full-throated criminal abuse of power against a political opponent that represents the worst criminally corrupt effort by a president in the modern era, if not the history of our country since the government conspiracy to cover-up the JFK assassination.
In American politics for at least the last 60 years or more even the most egregious lies and actions can be ignored as long as they are being done by your—or my–guy. Because if you are a democrat, thou shalst not give an inch less that embolden and help the enemy.
Now if you a republican, phffft, you can get supposedly die-hard republican stalwarts going against one of their own because there is nothing republicans like better than showing an independent spirit. Notwithstanding the dead certain knowledge that in order to lead, one must be elected to office.
And rooting for–or supporting–in this case the enemy, which often results in not winning. You see, supporting the other guy or voting with your feet—or not voting–often elects the other guy. I know it can be complicated to many, but if you don’t vote but the neighbor across the street with the Talifreako sign does, those actions add up over time and often result in an outcome you will greatly live to regret.
But at least you were “righteous!” Which will provide no solace whatsoever when your 8-year-old comes home with rainbow unicorn drawings or Muslim prayer rugs and sayings from a school that treats the Pledge of Allegiance or morning prayer like rabies or the plague or “frightening” to the community.
This is playing out in places like Texas right now as I write this article. Republican leaders in the senate just spent tens of millions of dollars pushing the reelection of Senator John Cornyn, one of a number of dead men walking in the republican led senate who has managed to get on the wrong side of the republican political leader, Trump.
Well, gollee, he lost the primary.
The republican senate lead who thought it wise to support the fratricidal tossing of tens of millions of dollars over the political has-been cliff now can’t be bothered to put money into the fray to tout the republican candidate who necked out of the spend-fest attempt to save Cornyn’s political career.
Republican fund raising in the Lone Star State has been strong of late, led by the duo of John Cornyn and former President Bush. The fundraising earmarked for the save the senate campaign is destined for six competitive senate races in Maine, Ohio, Alaska, Iowa, New Hampshire and Michigan.
Yes, indeed you read that correctly. Conspicuously absent from the earmarked funds in the drive to retain the senate in republican hands is the state where the funds were raised—Texas—because republicans led by senate majority leader Thune, Cornyn, Bush and Karl Rove would rather see Ken Paxton lose than contribute money to his campaign which President Trump supports 100%.
Because: republicans…As Bongino has often observed, republicans may not be the solution to every problem we have, but democrats are most certainly the cause of most of them. But no political party seems so inclined and proud to cut off their nose to spite their face as republican RINOs.
RINOs are going to RINO. The results in the senate primaries in 2026 have been predictable, with those who could not figure out that Trump support was very important to political viability pretty much being ousted. It turns out that voting with democrats to impeach him was a bad idea, not supporting his election in 2024 was worse and criticizing him on big issues since his election was terminal. Those who have been described as unreliable votes in congress on major party issues have all pretty much gone bye-bye.
Our political leaders set the example and of late it has been pretty much all bad. The two most egregious examples today as I write this include former President Obama and current Senator from Michigan Elissa Slotkin.
Obama because he is weighing-in on the justice department emerging case against Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, and Slotkin because of her outright threatening of young adults who would dare to take positions in the Trump administration.
One is reminded of the picture of the large number of happy youths outside the Obama White House behind foul mouthed partisan Susan Rice in the midst of a less than amiable transition where she would send a last minute cover your assets “note to self” that the boss famously gave guidance to the staff that the investigations of Trump were to be conducted “by the book.”
Presumably meaning Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals.
I’m reminded of the above picture because of Slotkin’s recent scurrilous commentary about targeting people who dare to serve in the Trump administration, serving their country by supporting our duly elected president.
Where have we gotten to as a country when sitting politicians can threaten otherwise law-abiding citizens and not be called out by all within hearing distance?
On the heels of the lawfare campaign against Trump and those who supported him these past 10 years, including sitting members of congress who were targeted by Jack Smith and the DOJ for no other reason other than being republicans, these are not idle threats that take this notion of “my sideism” to disturbing new lows.
What can be done about such threats???
