RINOs Never Fail to Disappoint and Betray Their Party and Its Members

Being a Republican since turning 18 makes me a biased observer of the political scene. However, knowing that is the case compels me to second guess my stances on events and people in the public eye where politics is involved and especially where RINOs say/do stupid things. The objective is to ensure that my conclusions are as objective as a human can be despite life experiences and biases that might militate against that result.

Applying that methodology to recent actions by various RINO scoundrels, I can confidently stand behind the conclusions of my article “Democrats and RINOS Trample the Constitution.” The article condemned RINOS who betray their party, and by extension, GOP voters on a regular basis. In my article I called out some usual suspects, Mitch McConnell; Lindsey Graham, Mitt Romney, and Lisa Murkowski, among others. They refuse to remain loyal when the votes on important issues are close and party loyalty is imperative. The trend continued again this past two weeks.

The Democrats know a red wave is a real possibility. As a result, they are using wedge issues and false claims of racism, sexism and corruption even more than usual. One of their prime GOP bashing strategies is to lie about the effect and legitimacy of the recent SCOTUS decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. In Michigan, my home state, ads bashing the GOP gubernatorial candidate over abortion run at least 5 times an hour during prime time.

The ads say that the Roe v. Wade decision revokes all abortion rights and that Tudor Dixon, the GOP candidate, wants to force women to birth babies for their rapists, and/or die in childbirth instead of allowing them to have an abortion. Both of those charges are outrageous lies, but they seem be effective because they are moving the views of women in this state re: Tudor Dixon.

Women seem to think that is Dixon is elected she can change Michigan’s laws by fiat. Granted, our current Democrat Governor did just that during the pandemic, using the emergency as her excuse, but no GOP legislature would allow that to happen on this issue. The same is true across the country, but all over the map Democrats are accusing the GOP and the SCOTUS of taking away women’s rights, which is a total falsehood but one that is gaining some traction.

Into this abortion donnybrook steps the RINO scoundrel of the decade, Lindsey Graham. At a time when GOP candidates are doing everything they can to communicate that the Roe V Wade decision puts that question back to the states where it belongs, and that the GOP has NO national intention of restricting women’s rights, the idiot savant Senator Graham introduces a bill seeking to prohibit abortions after 15 weeks at the FEDERAL level!! If the man tried to come up with a more insidious move to undermine Republicans in close races, he could not do it. He probably got the idea from the DNC. With friends like Lindsey…

Meanwhile, out in Utah the Mormons favorite RINO, Mitt Romney, is watching as his GOP fellow Senator Mike Lee is locked in a tight race with a Democrat challenger. Besides watching the race, Mitt, the man Obama called a liar, is doing absolutely nothing. That is happening at a time when the Senate is still up for grabs nationally. Many GOP leaders say they are “mystified” by Romney’s behavior. The dolts must have forgotten that Romney voted to impeach Trump on flimsy and false evidence presented by liars and grifters like Schiffhead, Nadler, Cheney and Crybaby Kinzinger.

Not to be outdone, Mitch McConnell weighed in by saying that the GOP might not win a landslide in November because it is running Senate candidates that are of questionable “quality”. He also blasted Biden for stoking inflation with massive Federal spending. Apparently, McConnell thinks his constituents will forget that he voted for Biden’s gigantic infrastructure bill in August! He might be right because the nasty son of a gun keeps getting re-elected, and in Kentucky no less!!! That recalls another assertion made in this space: that GOP voters must be masochistic since they keep voting for politicians who shaft them. They are not in it for the best policies, that is for sure.

All three of the aforementioned RINOs need to be thrown out of their positions ASAP, but none of them are up for reelection in 2022! That is a sad thing, but there is hope in Alaska. Lisa Murkowski, RINO extraordinaire, is facing a bruising battle against a Trump supported challenger. If Alaska voters cast their ballots based on who is best for the state, Murkowski should be on the garbage truck headed to the trash heap of history come this November. Perhaps if she goes down to defeat, some of the other RINOs will change their behavior, but it is more likely that they would switch parties and declare themselves Democrats. At least then voters would know the truth and would not be continually disappointed when those Quislings attack the GOP agenda and their fellow Republicans.

When all is said and done, it is obvious that my warnings about RINOs were well-founded, and the recent behavior of the people attacked for their disloyalty demonstrated that they will continue to do that. It is up to GOP voters and concerned independents to vote them out of office for their blatant dishonesty and disloyalty to the party and their voters. If Murkowski goes down to defeat, that will be a good start, but there is a lot more work to do. Get ready.
