According to the Philadelphia Police Department’s Current Crime Statistics page, there have been 473 people murdered in the City of Brotherly Love as of 11:59 PM EST on Thursday, December 1st. So, about what was District Attorney Larry Krasner worried on Thursday?

Advocates sound alarm on murders of transgender women in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner was among a group of LGBTQ activists who spoke about a troubling trend of deadly violence against trans women in the city over the recent years.

Investigators say on Thanksgiving morning, Sharee “Diamond” Jackson-McDonald – a transgender woman – was found shot to death inside a Germantown apartment. The murder of Jackson-McDonald was the 35 killing of a transgender or gender-non-conforming person in the United States this year.

I will warn the reader in advance: this is not politically correct in the slightest, and if that offends you, stop reading now.

If you listen to the entire video at the linked article, you’ll come to the statement, from Tatyana Woodard, of the Mazzoni Center:

They don’t disclose that they are trans to these gentlemen, and that is the reason they are being killed. But I want to dismantle that narrative right now, because as we have seen in the recent cases, they have prior relationships with these gentlemen.

Translation: the ‘trans women of color’ who have been killed have primarily been male prostitutes. We knew this all along, but Miss Woodard said the quiet part out loud

Miss Woodard tries to downplay that fact, claiming that “these gentlemen” had prior relationships with the males masquerading as women, but we do not know how close those relationships were, or when they discovered that the “woman” with whom they thought they were having sexual congress was actually male. Considering how dangerous prostitution can be, these ‘trans women’ working as prostitutes ought to be smart enough to disclose that they are not real women right at the beginning. To fail to do so is contributory negligence.

Let me be clear here: if you are expecting to have sex, whether paid or otherwise, with a woman, and “she” turns out to be a he, and a sexual act had occurred, you have been raped! That would be no different than if you were copulating with a woman who presented herself as your wife, and it turned out to be her twin sister.

If a normal woman had been raped, and she managed to escape and shoot her assailant, would anyone blame her? Then why would anyone be surprised that men who thought that they were having sex with a woman, and then discovered that he was actually a man male, might responding violently? Is it any surprise that a heterosexual man expecting to have sex with a woman might react violently when he discovered that he had been tricked into a homosexual act? The homosexual and transgender advocates try to suppress the fact that this is the kind of thing that has happened, so that they can push the narrative that ‘trans women of color’ are somehow being hunted.

In Philadelphia alone, authorities say seven transwomen have been killed in recent years. Krasner argued that violence against the trans community is an ugly outgrowth of hateful speech that comes from a history of discrimination against the LGBTQ community.

Really? Seven? There were seven Philadelphians murdered by January 4th of both 2021 and 2022! 473 people have bled out their life’s blood in the city’s mean streets just this year, and, for the vast majority of them, other than their families and friends, no one cares! Mr Krasner is letting small-time punks go, especially when they are juveniles, and then is shocked, shocked! when they become more hardened criminals, when they start shooting people.

But, for the ‘progressives,’ black gang-bangers, oops, sorry, “rival street group” guys getting killed by enemy “cliques of young men”¹ has simply been normalized in Philly. There is no political advantage to be gained, except by law-and-order people, who are usually Republicans, so those killings, other than in the aggregate numbers as the left try to restrict Americans’ right to keep and bear arms, and thus Mr Krasner, and new mayoral candidate Helen Gym Flaherty, who made her campaign announcement at the William Way LGBT Community Center don’t care about that.

¹ – We were reliably informed by The Philadelphia Inquirer that there are no gangs in the city, just “cliques of young men affiliated with certain neighborhoods and families,” who sometimes had “beefs” with other cliques, so we must replace the term “gang-bangers” with “cliques of young men” or “clique beefers”. District Attorney Larry Krasner and his office seem to prefer the term “rival street groups“

  1. The Philadelphia Enquirer says there are no gangs in Philly. Must be no gangs in Philly. They had gangs in every neighborhood when my dad was a kid growing up there, according to him. I wonder how the Inquirer solved that problem? Yeh, sarcasm. Loads of it.
