The veracity of the report by Marco Polo
This is the first part of a multi-part series on the Hunter Biden Laptop Report will look at the veracity of the information found on it.
In what seems to be an effort to discredit damning evidence of criminality on Hunter Biden and his family, the FBI is accused of engaging in what has been deemed a “slow walk” and a cover-up of the contents held within Hunter’s laptop. This was accompanied by significant efforts from the corporate press and others in government who got “experts” to provide statements bringing into question the veracity of the contents by claiming the chain of custody would invalidate and make it impossible to guarantee the authenticity of the evidence reported on in the 636-page report published by Marco Polo group.
This report by Marco Polo contains thousands of citations for the claims being made, which are at the bottom of every page. Archived webpages, documents, photos, and communications — many of which have cloud backups that can be cross-referenced for authenticity — are all included as hyperlinks to be easily accessible to the reader. There were 200 gigabytes of information held on the hard drive. Despite efforts to discredit this report, it is worth seeing for yourself to decide whether what the Biden family is accused of is legitimate.
The FBI sought to take possession of the laptop in September 2019
Who was involved in procuring said laptop?
There were two FBI agents based out of the Wilmington Resident Agency of the Baltimore Field Office (BAFO), FBI Special Agents Mike Dzielak and Josh Wilson, both child pornography investigators, who took weeks to respond to Mac Isaac. Isaac wanted the device out of his shop because he believed it contained evidence of felonies. Marco Polo reported that when they had acquired the laptop, their subpoena was issued under the pretense of a money laundering investigation. The Buffalo Chronicle reported in October 2020 that “FBI’s top child porn investigator has subpoenaed Hunter Biden’s Laptop.”
This came on the heels of a discovery of 340,000 emails on Anthony Wenier’s laptop between Clinton and her top aide, Anthony Weiner’s wife Huma Abedin, as the New York Post reported on October 8th, 2019.
FBI agents were stunned to find thousands of Hillary Clinton’s private emails while examining Anthony Weiner’s electronic devices for explicit text messages with a teen girl, a new book alleges
Many of these emails came from domain addresses such as hillaryclinton.com and state.gov.
These agents are accused of dereliction of duty for deciding not to act on the Biden’s numerous federal and state felonies.
The contents of the laptop have been corroborated by two independent Cyber Security Forensics experts
The first analysis of the laptop was conducted by a man named Bradley “Brad” Nowlin Maryman, who is associated with Maryman and Associates. He is a 29-year veteran of the FBI, served as a Chief Information Officer, and founded the bureau’s cyber forensics unit.
A summary of the report details the following:
- They found emails for multiple accounts on the laptop dating back to 2009, and other data that ‘appear to be related to Mr. Biden’ between 2016 and 2019.
- The report’s findings were consistent with the known timeline for the hard drive. A Wilmington, Delaware computer store work order with Hunter’s signature shows he left his 2017 MacBook Pro laptop there on April 12, 2019.
- The Maryman & Associates report said the original ‘Macintosh HD’ drive was created on March 28, 2018.
- Hunter’s iCloud email address was added to the laptop’s system on October 21, 2018, as well as his work email at his firm Rosemont Seneca on February 2, 2019.
- The same day, a Gmail address he used to log onto sex cam sites, and another personal Gmail address belonging to Hunter, were also added.
- Beau Biden’s old Gmail account was added on February 7, 2019.
- Emails addressed to Hunter’s various email addresses dating from December 2009 to December 2020 were found on the system.
- An iPad with the name ‘Hunter’s iPad’ and three email addresses associated with the Biden family was backed up on the laptop and on iCloud in January 2019 and again a month later.
- Greenfield found 818 call logs in this iPad backup with timestamps from June 2016 to February 2019.
- There were 8,942 entries in the iPad’s contacts book, created between April 2016 and January 2019.
- In February 2019, an iPhone XS was also synced with the laptop. Its serial number was consistent with the timestamps of the data on the phone.
In conclusion: “The operating system timestamps appear to be authentic, and no evidence was found to suggest that the timestamps or data were altered or manufactured… No indications were found that would suggest the data was manufactured.”
The second analysis was conducted by Konstantinos “Gus” Dimitrelos, who is the CEO of Cyber Forensics Inc. He is also a retired U.S. Secret Service Agent. He has been contracted by various governments over a 26-year span in his professional capacity as a cyber forensics expert, and he has been contracted by the US DOJ-Attorney’s office since 2007 to conduct analyses.
It was reported by The Washington Examiner that Gus has testified as a cyber forensics expert in over 100 classified, criminal, and civil matters at the state, federal, and international levels using a technique called “digital sandwiching”. He cross-referenced thousands of emails, documents, business records, text messages, Apple Notes, photos, geolocation data, travel records, and other information on the hard drive.
Based on my analysis and overwhelming data confirms Hunter Biden’s MacBook Pro was not hacked and the data contained on the hard drive is authentic.
Based on the data I examined, there was no manipulation of any photographs, emails, documents or other user activities.
If I was able to obtain specific information from Cloud, Financial Providers, Cellular Carriers and other companies identified during my analysis, I would be able to prepare an affidavit for any requesting party or agency including any related testimony.
He signed this affidavit on May 20th, 2022.
Memo shows FBI took steps to suppress the story despite knowing it was legitimate
In a memo released on July 20th, 2023, by the House Judiciary Committee headed by Jim Jordan, it was discovered that testimony revealed FBI employees who warned social media companies about a “Hack and Leak Operation” knew the Hunter Biden laptop wasn’t “Russian Disinformation.”
The memo additionally contained the following,
In the hours following publication of the Post’s story, Twitter blocked the story from being shared, while Facebook deamplified the story, significantly reducing its circulation and prevalence in users’ newsfeeds. As the federal court in Missouri v. Biden explained in damning language, the FBI’s actions prevented millions of Americans from having a clear understanding about a salient issue in the 2020 presidential election:
The FBI’s failure to alert social-media companies that the Hunter Biden laptop was real, and not mere Russian disinformation, is particularly troubling. The FBI had the laptop in their possession since December 2019 and had warned social-media companies to look for a “hack and dump” operation by the Russians prior to the 2020 election. Even after Facebook specifically asked whether the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian disinformation, Dehmlow of the FBI refused to comment, resulting in the social-media companies’ suppression of the story. As a result, millions of U.S. citizens did not hear the story prior to the November 3, 2020 election.
Prior to the presidential election on November 3, 2020, the FBI never formally revealed that the laptop was “real” and in the FBI’s possession. As Dehmlow testified to the Committee, had the Hunter Biden story been a product of an actual Russian disinformation campaign, FITF would have been fully authorized to warn the companies of such a campaign: “But if there is a foreign malign influence operation and we’ve got specific details about how those actors are propagating information operations, influence operations on platforms, that’s something we could share the specific details of.” Instead, the refusal of FBI officials—the very officials who knew the laptop was real—to verify the authenticity of the laptop allowed widespread censorship about an otherwise accurate news story
It is clear, based on the timeline of events, that the FBI had the physical laptop in their possession well before the 2020 election. It’s also clear they knew that the report that was going to be released was not “Russian Disinformation” or a “Hack and Leak Operation,” as they had originally told social media companies before companies like Twitter removed the initial report leading up to the election.
The actions by the FBI at this time are concerning considering their knowledge of the contents, and knowing that it would impact voters’ decisions at the ballot box for the 2020 general election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
The second part of this series on the Biden Laptop and the contents contained within will cover in detail who was involved in the FBI’s inquiries into the laptop, who helped to discredit it, and what happened as a result of such actions.
