Parody As a Weapon Part CVII; As Dr. Ray Stantz once said, we’re talking Old Testament, real wrath of God stuff.
Last week, in Part CVI, we tried to raise the alarm about Jamaal Bowman, a member of the squad of democrat socialists currently occupying seats in Congress from districts populated by large majorities of under and over educated fools. This week, we will look at what happens when the squad’s allies abroad are given sufficient support, and what will be happening in response.
Last weekend, apparently inspired by the Indigenous People’s holiday weekend in the US, Hamas launched a terror attack in Israel from the Gaza Strip, killing more than a thousand Israelis (and more than 20 US citizens). Reports at this point indicate that the vast majority of these casualties were civilians who were unarmed, and have included entire families butchered in their beds, and babies beheaded in a kibbutz nursery. Videos of these slayings have been livestreamed by the terrorists, and include massacres at a music festival where survivors appear to have been raped or kidnapped by Hamas, to be used later as human shields when Israel responds.
It should surprise no one that the academic left sided with the raping murdering kidnappers, as that is their position with respect to domestic lawbreakers in the US, as well. The political arm, represented by the Democrat Socialists of America (the organization that the members of the “squad” belong to, among others) sponsored rallies in New York and elsewhere where swastikas were displayed and other anti-semitic tropes in evidence.
What might be considered as surprising is that not all democrats agreed. One of New York City’s rabidly partisan representatives in congress, Dan Goldman, was in Israel when the attack was initiated, and he was critical of Hamas and in support of Israel. After the State Department initially issued statements calling for both sides to stand down, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken finally took charge of the messaging of his organization like he marshaled the intelligence community’s veteran leftists in support of Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign, and expressed solidarity with Israel. Even Joe Biden was dosed with Ritalin early in the week, and gave a speech condemning Hamas and standing with Israel (while avoiding the subject of the complicity of the chief sponsor of Hamas- Iran).
The third leg of leftist stool, the media, also made attempts to muddy the waters. Some, such as Los Angeles Times reporter Adam Elmahrek tried to claim that baby -beheading stories were not confirmed (as if merely burning babies to death in a kibbutz nursery during a ground attack would be acceptable) even after several press organizations provided corroboration. Unfortunately, Biden tried to claim that he had seen pictures of the atrocity, which the White House had to walk back, and added nothing but the word of a serial congenital liar to the controversy.
Friday the 13th of October has been designated as the day of “resistance” by the supporters of the atrocity-committing terrorists. Just as the term “racist” was so over and inappropriately used by the left that it ceased having any real meaning and had to be replaced by “white supremacist”, the word “resistance” has no universal or generally accepted definition. The left in the US called their abuse of government office and lack of fealty to the Constitution during the Trump administration as “resistance”, but characterized the unruly mob with numerous Trump supporters protesting at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021 as an “insurrection”. As such, “resistance” as defined by the left can mean anything from slow-walking Veteran’s Affairs payments to undermine confidence in a disfavored administration to sneaking across a border to decapitate the offspring of a disfavored ethnic group.
Of course, this is far from the first time in history that hardships have been visited upon the people of Israel, but it bears mentioning that their enemies often suffered worse fates in return. Of course, in that Old Testament era, the suffix used to describe the collective and individual members of the tribe was “-ite”, instead of the “-i” (though as in the Old Testament, folks from Egypt remain as “Egyptians” rather than “Egyptis”, unlike the Israelis, Kuwaitis, Qataris, Afghanis, Emiratis and Iraqis. The Iranians, Jordanians, Libyans and Syrians should have to explain their exemption as well, and the Lebanese throw the whole label scheme into disarray).
One who did not trouble himself over the use of the Old Testament terms in modern times (or at least the 20th century) was Desmond Dekker. The Jamaica native had the first real reggae song to make the US and UK pop charts in 1968 entitled “Israelites”. I have borrowed the tune added new lyrics as a warning to what Hamas and its allies likely face in the days ahead, which should remind all who watch that if you want to behave like Chief Scar and his band of renegade Comanches at the beginning of “The Searchers” it would have been better if you recalled how they all ended up at the end of the movie.
Hamas in the morning, slaying the civilians
Sleeping in bed so they just kill them

Raped or kidnapped as a human shield
