Time to Reclaim Duty: The Urgent Call for Reinstating the Draft

In a world where our nation’s defense hangs in the balance, it’s time to address the glaring issue that every branch of the military, except the Marines, faced in 2023—failure to meet recruiting goals. The solution is clear, unapologetic, and rooted in the principles that built this great nation: Reinstate the draft.

In the face of a recruitment crisis, it’s time to shatter the illusions of privilege and entitlement. No college deferment – because defending the nation is a responsibility that transcends the ivory towers. It’s time for every able-bodied and handi-capable citizen to step up.

But what about those who choose to indulge in recreational activities like smoking pot? In the grand scheme of things, it’s a minor concern. Alcoholism has been rampant in the Military for generations. Policing that has been a waste of time. Let’s not police personal choices; instead, let’s focus on preparing our youth for a different kind of choice– the camouflage of duty.

Even criminals should be eligible. It’s time to rethink our approach to rehabilitation. What better way to reform than channeling that energy into something greater than themselves – defending the very society they may have wronged. Frankly this should be easy. Teaching killers to kill. The only thing you will teach them is to be more efficient. Society benefits by saving money emptying the jails. The enemy will recoil in fear by our creating a great psychological warfare strategy at the same time! Don’t forget that not so very long ago a judge could tell a social deviant “jail or the military, your choice.”

And let’s not forget our LGBTQ community. In an era that celebrates diversity, inclusivity should extend to our armed forces. No more discrimination based on sexual orientation. Our focus should be on the willingness to serve, not who someone loves. Drag queens with combat boots and M-16s!!! Works for me. Oh again more psy ops!

Addressing the issue of obesity and laziness is not about exclusion but transformation. Instead of traditional boot camp, let’s introduce “FAT camp” – Fitness and Training camp. The goal remains the same: instill discipline, impart skills, and cultivate a sense of duty. Our nation cannot afford to let physical fitness be a barrier to service. There are far too many overly entitled couch potatoes out there. Nothing beats exercise and fresh air!

Reinstating the draft is not about forcing unwilling participants into a life they didn’t choose; it’s about instilling a sense of duty, responsibility, and shared sacrifice. It’s time to rise above personal comforts and contribute to the collective defense of our great nation. The draft is not a relic of the past but a call to the future – a future where every citizen plays a part in upholding the values that define us.
