Once upon a time, America was a strong and virtuous nation, built on principles of hard work and integrity. Now, it seems those values have gone the way of the dinosaur, replaced by a collective arrogance, pride, and a staggering level of stupidity. The electorate is more interested in the latest reality TV drama than in the real-life drama of their country’s political landscape.
Let’s face it, the modern American voter is like a sheep, blissfully unaware of the wolves at the door. Politicians promise them the world—free bread and circuses—and the voters lap it up, forgetting that there’s no such thing as a free lunch. Meanwhile, Rome burns, and the crowd cheers for the next gladiator fight.
History, as they say, doesn’t trust the future to the weak and stupid. Yet, here we are, entrusting the future of a once-great nation to a populace more concerned with Instagram likes and TikTok dances than with understanding the complexities of governance. It’s as if the collective IQ of the nation has taken a nosedive, and we’re all too busy scrolling through our feeds to notice.
As the empire crumbles, it’s hard not to feel a sense of profound sadness. What happened to the America that stood tall and proud, a beacon of hope and strength in the world? Now, it seems, we’re content to let it all slip away, one mindless meme at a time. The United States of Amnesia marches on, blissfully unaware of its impending doom, while the rest of the world watches in disbelief.
