Since the 2016 election my favorite “jolt” of reality for across the aisle friends, frenemies and relatives alike has increasingly been the story of the “lying of the senate”-Edward “Ted” Kennedy- and the story of when he approached the Soviet KGB in Europe in 1983 to discuss undermining Reagan’s chances for re-election: the original sin Russian collusion… (and typical response-that can’t be true, why have I never…)
Colluding with the Soviets-election interference? Threat to democracy? Treason against a sitting president? 14th Amendment issue for the aspiring 1988 presidential candidate: phfft and pshaw and get real…
This story was buried deeper than Red October! Maybe even deeper than the democrat history with the KKK…
This JFK series started along those lines, e.g., presenting some of the information released over the years that shreds myriad JFK assassination lies, coverups and mistruths. What is far worse to me is how the government deep sixed and covered up the truth and deliberately withheld and then delayed the release of information that could have-and should have-been public knowledge decades ago, but continues to drip out like maple syrup in the Arctic on a cold winter day.
To some the delay of the release of information is understandable in light of protecting sensitive information and facts. And-I’m sorry-but that’s just first class bullspit. The coverup of the JFK assassination has been ongoing for coming up on 61 years.
Why is it relevant to discuss today? Because the responsibility for the assassination of JFK rests with the Secret Service who had one mission that day-and it was to protect President Kennedy: one job.
They failed that day. We can discuss how hard it was to protect him in a moving, open vehicle, myriad vulnerability points in Dealy Plaza, overpass, underpass, grassy knoll, Dal Tex building, Book repository, sewer drain, humma, humma, ding dong: it is all bullspit.
The entire top line and agent(s) in charge on the scene should have been fired that day-publicly-immediately-no hesitation.
Sometimes the gravest danger to a protectee are those closest to them whose judgement they must rely on to prevent the unthinkable.
How about another, more recent event: and not the one you think. On 6 January 2021, Vice President Elect Kamala Harris visited the Democratic National Committee HQs building, DC, at ~1115. The building perimeter was screened by the SS and cleared for her arrival.
She passed within some ~20 feet of what we have been told was a viable pipe-bomb. It was discovered by a passerby at ~1305 and Harris was evacuated at around 1315. Julie Kelly has done great reporting on this “mystery of life.”
Recall how many SS personnel were fired that day, I mean-talk about mission failure. The first female Vice President in US history, a woman of color, nearly blown up because of SS failures.
Nobody was fired or resigned that day-nor since. We don’t know much more today than we did then-at least coming from the authorities-it’s become a DC swamp mystery of life. Apparently, many of the logs, radio communications, text and email message traffic was inexplicably erased from that day: huh! Thank goodness for Revolver and folks like Julie Kelly staying on the case…
Sometimes you have to get lucky if the dolts assigned to protect you turn out to be-well-dolts. The FBI reported the bomb(s) was viable and was disposed of-and you can trust that report because it came from Agent Steven D’antuono. Notwithstanding the bomb was equipped with a standard 60-minute kitchen timer that was set to a specific minute and not running and therefore was not going to trigger anything, but-hey-viable!
He had recently returned to DC to run the 6 Jan effort from a stint in Michigan where he oversaw-among other “missions-” the FBI collusion to finesse the gang that couldn’t shoot straight into a faux kidnapping plot of the Michigan Governor, leveraging the skills of a convicted pedophile as one of their insiders.
I think the code name for the operation was Election 2020 October Surprise: very original.
The other odd “mission” conducted during his Michigan tour was somewhat of an organic uprising against lock down and control initiatives at the Michigan legislature where D’antuono reportedly provided advice to the State Police to allow what they believed to be armed and rabid right wingers into the capital to “defuse the situation:” weird.
The significance of the “double entendre” in the above story line should be apparent to all: who was it a rehearsal for in the final analysis…?
There suspiciously hasn’t been enough “political milking” of the pipe bomb situation like we would expect out of the shallow human being who was the apparent target of the bomb.
If you don’t believe this was an inside SS, FBI or Capital Police job-which would somewhat make you inclined to disregard it-then a plethora of continuous outrage and indignation against those MAGA maniacs would seem not only warranted, but obligatory: phffft, not a peep-whimper-barely a skosh (What pipe bomb?)
There is also the fact that security let these raging MAGA maniacs in the capital knowing there was a pipe bomb threat, and shots fired. Did not even have to pass through Nanny Peloozis magnetometer!
Former President Trump, the GOP nominee for president, experienced the same malfeasance as JFK and Harris and is lucky to be alive to talk about it. Another total SS failure and the same remedy should apply here: top line firings down the ranks.
Trump was shot in the head from well within killing distance for any borderline competent bolo-badge rifle wielding maniac hellbent on mayhem. We can split hairs on this and somewhat diminish the significance of the act because it hit his ear, just be careful about leaning on that factoid, cause the Hipbone-Kneebone thing and the ear is attached to the head: President Trump was shot in the head.
I could do the ecoutez et repetez here, but we truly still know very little about what happened when you consider the who, what, where, when, why and how of a standard fact gathering effort.
Sure-the SS head had so little class that she had to be badgered into resigning, but she is part of the Biden administration and there is such a low bar on performance that the boss has only fired military people who refuse to take the “bit” on woke, DEI, CRT and ESG malarky: I mean, look at the luggage stealing aberrant nuclear physicist-who resigned-and poster girl KJP…phffft.
The Biden Administration Motto: No Consequences. Lose Afghanistan in 12 days: phffft, who could have predicted it… Russian invasion of Ukraine not over within 72 hours, well gollee! Hamas invades Israel on 7 Oct 2023 and has been holding hostages for 10 months while the US has been pussyfooting around making equivalents about the terrorism-well how could our Intelligence Community have predicted or detected that when they are only funded at some ~55 billion dollars a year?
The sad and sorry truth is we are not done here. When the deep state swamp identifies a threat to their very existence, there is no limit to the resources the government can bring to bear against that person with our money: it’s all free labor, baby!
The more worrisome aspect is the involvement of frenemies to the deep state who stand to lose bigly if a rational US government-an America First agenda-revives and becomes operative.
When the swamp runs out of options and gambits-lawsuits, constitutional battles, lawfare, going after everyone who ever supported a politician no matter how peripheral or tenuous the relationship, and becomes desperate, it is just a matter of time before they get their “man” in the most ominous sense of the term.
Many are unaware that there were three assassination plots-that we know of-against Kennedy in Nov 1963, including Chicago, Miami and Dallas. And I must add the obligatory astounding factoid that in the entire Warren Commission Report-all 862 pages-and yes-I read it a few times-there is no mention of any involvement or suspicion of, or-well-anything about mob/mafia ties to the assassination.
But any rookie JFK conspiracy theorist knows there were three huge areas of Mafia/mob influence coming out of the 1950s, including Sam “Mooney” Giancana in Chicago, Santos Trafficante (Jr) in Miami, and Carlos Marcello in New Orleans (whose territory included Dallas.)
Of course, there were others-like Jimmy Hoffa, somewhat noteworthy for his propensity to loan Union Money to the “bosses,” but these were the “Dons” who held domain over the three planned “hits” and-in the case of Marcello-he was the boss of the oldest “Syndicate” in America and therefore the only mob boss leader who could authorize such a hit without getting permission from the other Dons.
And besides-he had the greatest saying on his wall at his ranch/hotel/restaurant: three people can keep a secret if two of them are dead.
But not according to Warren and not according to a lot of very sincere and famous researchers over the years who diminish this connection in favor of a laughable lone communist gunman theory that could be debunked by a 7-year-old based on the evidence.
All to say that if I were Trump I would press the government for a security stipend and I would bring on somebody like Blackwater to provide security from this point on: he simply can’t trust the deep state swamp which makes up our government and plays footsie with globalists and globalist causes like Ukraine and regimes like Iran who have a vested interest in ensuring that weak, malleable, namby, pamby corrupt US leadership is maintained for their benefit and manipulation.
I should close now, but here-as a bonus-is one of my mind boggling potentially favorite conspiracy theories: enjoy!
President Eisenhower during his farewell address surprisingly warned this nation about the Military Industrial Complex that grew ever more powerful after World War II.
The surprise was that a man who had benefitted more than his share from the mobilization of the industrial might of the United States in defeating the Nazis and Japan, and then kept pace and exceeded the Soviet Union’s global thrust to spread communism throughout the world through military sales and collaboration, was worried about the political influence and power wielded by these former forces of good.
There had been no odder warning issued by a departing president until President Obama warned President Trump about Kim Jong Un and Michael Flynn: two apparently veritable scoundrels…
Recall Eisenhower tasted the bittersweet collusion of the deep state swamp when Gary Francis Powers U2 was shot down over the Soviet Union in what can only be described as an ill-thought through penetration mission that took place in the shadow of a major summit at which nuclear disarmament was a prime topic: and one which many in the US government thought was ill-considered, untimely, and unwanted!
Since no US citizen knew about the U2 flights in the first place, and it being somewhat innocent times where government trust was still high among citizens, the idea or notion that the CIA might have colluded to give up the U2 for the greater cause of scuttling any summit in which the US might voluntarily give ground in our nuclear arsenal in the race against the Soviets, was never discussed: such an idea was unthinkable-preposterous.
Although-there is the strange adventure of the Beast of Kandahar when Obama-the US-was playing kissy-face with the Iranians-but I digress.
US Intelligence had debunked the so-called Bomber Gap by the late 1950s. Eisenhower curtailed U2 overflights in ~1958 at about the same time he signed off on a proposed solution to manned overflights that violated hostile territory, called the Corona Project.
By 1960 the agency was on the brink of operational alternatives to manned overflight and the project was collecting operational data.
Eisenhower pushed ahead with plans for the summit despite arguments against doing so from his advisors, mainly the intelligence and military arms of the government.
In keeping with the original theme of this series (which I consider to be somewhat unknown or unlinked murky operational details dripping out that continuously merit a revisit of the JFK conspiracy,) the CIA placed a trained agent in Russia at the time who was a contingent, plausible denial (e.g., potential scapegoat/patsy) in the event Eisenhower decided to lop off the heads of those responsible for the ill-considered decision to send a U2 overflight in the first place.
That would be the man the CIA had trained at their Russian language School in the Carolinas. Whose personnel records jacket (201 file) they maintained. A man you might have heard of named Lee Harvey Oswald.
What a strange coincidence that a former US Marines Corps (USMC) doggie, U2 RADCON (Radar Control Operator) at Atsugi, Japan-the base that provided flight control for the U2-should end up in Russia. Just in time to be available, should the agency need a “friend” who might have plausibly spilled some beans to the Soviets about U2 flight parameters: particularly someone who presented like a defector who renounced his citizenship, but turned out not to have “ever” really renounced his citizenship, but somehow made the trip happen.
Seemingly without help from our government, which was not worried about a former USMC RADCON operator with top secret clearance and U2 experience “slipping into the Soviet Union:” nothing fishy or stinky about that at all!
At 22 he was apparently clever beyond his years. His future wife thought he was a native Russian because of his language proficiency. Her uncle was a high-level KGB official.
Are you getting what the Max is putting down here? Was it plausible that Oswald might have impressed his future relative with tales of U2 capabilities sufficient for the Soviets to home-in their relatively new, nearly 90K foot engagement capable SA-2 Missile System being designed to take out the high-flying U2?
If you think about the operational details of this effort, this was a pretty sophisticated and well thought through CIA op to deflect attention off the fact that they (1) approved the U2 flight (2) likely sabotaged the bird so it could not maintain operational altitude which (3) at the time exceeded the SA-2 missile system engagement envelope (4) putting Oswald in the boresight for culpability: really genius-and evil!
Having married while there, Oswald somehow made it back to the states as easily as he had slipped into the Soviet Union.
Am I insinuating Eisenhower was set up by the CIA through the U2 shootdown to scuttle the summit and hold their breath until a new president was elected?
The above puts Eisenhower’s departing warning in an interesting context: whether the CIA actions and the link to Oswald is believable or not.
JFK took office shortly thereafter, very quickly discovering the basis for Eisenhower’s warning in the form of his own Joint Chiefs of Staff, whose inclination-expressed in war plans-was to strike first with nuclear and then survive the retaliation!
JFK soon faced a mixture of military predicaments (Cuban Missile Crisis, Bay of Pigs, Vietnam Coup effort against Diem,) social strife involving racial policies and segregation/desegregation efforts, but had his own taste of the deep state swamp having its way with policy.
The Bay of Pigs was likely the first such wakeup call for Kennedy, but the more stark example was likely his somewhat “gumby-like” support of the 1963 coup in Vietnam where Ngo Dinh Diem, and his brother (and I recall also his brother-in-law) were secured in a Connex after the coup and then shot on the orders of Gen Van Minh.
If JFK was not abundantly sensitized and aware of the deep state swamp by then, the Diem Coup and murder had to have shaken his faith in his “team.”
Trump needs to be careful. When the democrat party realizes what a hash, they have made of this election by doing the coup on Biden only to get Kamala and a loser VP, their only option is going to be to take down Trump-or to massively cheat in the election: or both.
