Not a Hebrew text written later to remove all references to Christ.
Here are some key points according to LXX version;
1. **Creation to the Flood**:
– The LXX places the creation around 5500 BCE.
– The Flood occurs approximately 2242 years later, around 3258 BCE.
2. **Flood to Abraham**:
– Abraham’s birth is around 2970 BCE, about 712 years after the Flood.
3. **Abraham to the Exodus**:
– The Exodus is dated to around 1500 BCE.
4. **Exodus to Present**:
– From the Exodus to today spans roughly 3524 years.
Adding these periods together:
2242 (Creation to Flood) +
712 (Flood to Abraham) +
1470 (Abraham to Exodus) +
3524 (Exodus to Present)
= 7948 years
Using BCE/CE and BC/AD is very confusing due to their overlapping values. Adopting the year 7948, based on the Septuagint’s chronology from creation, simplifies this by providing a continuous and universally understandable timeline that covers the entire span of human history without the need for multiple dating systems.
Adopting 7948 as our current year reflects a fuller, more accurate timeline of human history as supported by Christian texts, particularly the Septuagint. This change honors the depth of our past and the significance of biblical events, including the life of Christ about 2024 years ago within a broader historical context
