Imagine Russian Troops in Canada and Mexico

In 1917, Imperial Germany sent a message to Mexico’s foreign minister, promising them that if the United States entered the Great War in Europe that Mexico would get back territory lost to the United States in the 1840s. The “Zimmermann Note” became one of the rationales for the U.S. to enter World War I.

In 1961, the Soviet Union was gaining prominence in Cuba. The U.S. responded with a preemptive invasion that ultimately failed, in part because President Kennedy refused direct military support of Cuban expats conducting the attack.

In 1983, the Soviet Union was helping the island of Grenada, along with the support of Cuban advisors and labor. The U.S. preempted by invading the island and overthrowing the government.

In the mid-1980s, the Soviet Union was supporting the socialist government in Nicaragua. While eschewing direct military involvement, the U.S. preempted by funding an anti-government insurgency and meddling in their elections to overthrow the Sandinista government.

In each of these cases, the United States aggressively preempted to thwart a foreign power threatening its interests in the Western Hemisphere. Now just imagine if Russia cut a deal with the Canadian government to station troops in Canada, and made arrangements with Mexico to conduct amphibious landing drills on the Mexican coast south of Texas.  How do you think the United States would respond?

If history is any guide, the United States would respond the same way Russia has responded to U.S. and NATO incursions into Eastern Europe and Ukraine. Indeed, today the U.S. even invades countries and overthrows governments on the other side of the planet, let alone in its own hemisphere.

International law has long recognized the right of preemption by a nation to protect itself from imminent attack. Many other nations have used such preemption, including America’s ally Israel. Is it any wonder that Russia moved into eastern Ukraine in 2022?

The genesis of what can best be called the NATO-Russo War started in the 1990s, after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Emboldened by the idea that the United States was now the sole superpower in the world, Neocons moved to create the New World Order… the One World Government under the United States.

However, the American One World Government slipped into decline even as it was announced. A clear indication is the fate of the Headquarters for U.S. African Command (AFRICOM). Created in 2006, AFRICOM’s headquarters was supposed to be in the Horn of Africa. However, all efforts to put the headquarters anywhere in Africa came to naught, and today it is still at its temporary headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany. In the late 1980s or early 1990s, nations in Africa would have been tripping over themselves to have an American senior command on their soil. And today? Even impoverished Niger kicked the Americans out.

The United States, dominated by the Neocons, will continue to double and triple down in their insane efforts at world rulership, believing they are the Masters of the Universe (MOTUs). In desperation, these Neocons are needling a nuclear power on their very doorstep, and creating some of the most outlandish propaganda about the Ukraine War that would even make Joseph Goebbels blush.

But there is only One who is the Master of the universe, and He will not give His glory to another. I suspect that the Neocons are in for a harsh education.
