What a blinding flash of the obvious (BFO) my title is, but this close to the election I managed to suppress my urge to write about the economy. Which-interesting as it (economy) may be to some (well, me) it feels somewhat like my Biden Global Folly series that I have abandoned after some 26 articles or so for fear of having the feds come after me for picking on the handicapped: that is a thing, you know (feds coming after you.)
Which is not my fear, but I like the link to the deep Stasi State and the danger for the wrong type of American-you know, deplorable, garbage, gun and bible clinger in flyover country-in being a ham sandwich… I honestly felt like I was uselessly beating the drum about Biden and his circle of nincompoops, incompetents, racists and woke DIE, CRT, ESG, letter people, stooges and idjiots with my series.
I mean-c’mon man-it is as obvious as-in the words of Lunch Bucket Joe (kudos to Chris Plante-there is only one-) a sychophonous ratsyllabanal mockolable (or whatever Joe said.)
It’s fascinating that we have a team-a pair-one might say “beauties-“ in the WH where sometimes you wish you could understand what one said, while you wish the other would just stop talking-have the clock run out and declare her points as ineligible for human consideration: sorry, nope-didn’t get in on time….
I mean when you hire perhaps the leading oddball nuclear physicist in the US, if not the world, and he, she or it (conjugation points) becomes famous for traveling without a suitcase because he has a fetish where he steals clothes at the airport for all his trips-woman’s clothes-and damn fine ones-he has good taste, but I mean-you can’t make that one up-nobody would believe it as a story-our government gave that freak a security clearance to work nuclear issues.
How do you top something like that? Unless you pick a similarly freaky spokesman, health “Admiral” and other freaks of nature to be the face of your administration.
Or maybe focus on biting babies and garbage trucks and fast food and Nazis.
How about Afghanistan, Ukraine, Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, China, 9% inflation rate, forgiving student loans, green new steal, trans agenda, missing clues on 7 Oct, backing consumer staples out of the consumer price calculations, flying illegals in via sanctioned US govt flights, spending Federal Emergency Management Agency Funds on illegal Aliens at the expense of Americans suffering emergencies, overspending the budget by 1.8 trillion dollars in FY 2023, resulting in servicing US debt that exceeds 1.2 trillion dollars-1/4th of federal revenue for the year, with US debt exceeding US GDP by nearly 120%-and projected to climb higher, and higher, and higher as you project out through 2050.
No matter how much I ranted and raved about the Biden Administration incompetence throughout that series, I never foresaw the depths of chutzpah reflected in the soft coup that would anoint Harris as “the one,” and then scheme to make it so without a single primary vote to justify the undoing of the whole near religious/satanic democrat ritual. Phfft-out the window-inconvenient-just don’t talk about it.
Nanny Peloozi said that Harris won the nomination because it was uncontested. Which was surprising news to the libertarians and progressives who the democrat apparatchiks colluded to keep off the ballot-because-democratic process-but even more of a surprise to the 14 million democrats and independents and foolish republicans who voted and picked and made their choice of candidate: not one of which voted for Harris.
Which started with Biden saying no to New Hampshire and Iowa because-well I don’t really know why-to cater/suck up to blacks in the Carolinas where he knew he would find support based on the precedent of 2020 when he ascended from his basement like the swamp monster oozing out of the lagoon. An electorate segment who were touted as well-nigh unanimous at one point, but were later reported to be abandoning Biden like lemmings jumping for their freedom…
And ended with democrats saying no to Biden like a Harvey Weinstein 2d date.
Which may sound cruel but think back to the miracle that was Obama (and sober up, buttercup.) On the verge of the 2012 election Americans were discovering that the only ones who weren’t getting a waiver from the Unaffordable Care Act penalty-were them-average citizens. Congress received an exemption. Businesses too. Obama’s dog. Obama was trading exemptions for support like a crackhead out of money and snow. You could probably keep your doctor and keep your plan, but that was only if your doctor and insurance plan agreed to perform pap smears on men and prostrate exams on females.
The problem being those men-except for pretend males-don’t have a pap to smear. And females-well-you get the idea. Oh-and-hahahahaha-did you ever believe that you would save $2500 a year on a program put together by our government? I would prefer to think you never believed that crap…please don’t disabuse me…
Our govt insurance policies went up by a third-but the govt subsidy-you guessed it-covered that increase, so it wasn’t a cost we (civil servants) had to bear for several years. Hand in the back-“What did you do with your $2500 savings?” I don’t know about others, but I spent that money buying a unicorn that I still have around here somewhere: yep.
Every year since ACA was passed, I receive a statement that I should have no fear, as my military retired VA medical benefits meet the govts ACA requirements. As an exemplar of the fecklessness of our govt and the waste of our tax dollars, it absolutely infuriates me to receive that useless piece of crap certification.
Where our government uses our-my-tax dollars to certify that my govt provided medical benefit meets the govt mandated requirement to have a qualified medical plan-to the govt. You have to enter the form number or whatever as one of the last steps to filing your taxes.
It is enough to gag a maggot.
Obama won that election somehow-shenanigans in Florida, perhaps? Notwithstanding all the shame and lies associated with Benghazi-the State Dept Lies-Hillary Clinton-and the tragic lemming-like performance of Susan Rice on the Sunday Talk Shows where she officially announced that she was out of the running to replace Hillary Clinton at the State Department (having taken one for the team, bigly.)
We elected that foo again somehow, but not before taking the other tools of govt away from him, e.g. the house and senate. His dreadful pall on down ballot was perhaps the worst in modern times.
But nobody took his phone and his pen-and congress seemed OK to allow Obama to continue to thumb his nose at them, again proving that the US seems to enjoy saddling presidents with a feckless congress so the executive can pull off all manner of shenanigans while never being held accountable.
Speaking of foos, down here where the lede is found we have an unbelievable debacle ongoing in Colorado where the democrat blue wave that swept into power via voting fraud in 2018 with the Dominion Voting System (DVS) continues to march onward and upward. Bypassing silliness, approaching idjioty, and foisting lunacy on voters.
On the ballot this year includes a constitutional right to abortion that the “government will pay for” that seemingly has no restrictions whatsoever. The govt and insurers in Colorado will pay/cover abortions should this amendment be passed by Coloradans.
It is confusing to the logical because it is couched in the terms of a “return to Roe V Wade”-when in truth it has none of the safeguards, restrictions and common-sense details-that have been abandoned in favor of “no restrictions on woman’s health decisions.”
Now maybe I am being a bit too critical here, but assuming I believe it is a woman’s choice whether to keep her baby or not, why would I then agree that I should pay-via our tax dollars-my tax dollars-for the abortion?
Let me think, pay for roads, bridges, highway projects, government salaries, law enforcement, security, safety, education, illegals, and health issues, etc. Where would elective surgery like an abortion fit in priority-wise with the other aspects that government should be involved with?
The answer is increasingly-it doesn’t. In fact-the government should not be involved in most of those topics-I didn’t mention mail. But I fail to see why we need the government-or the teachers’ union-involved in education-given the track record of decreasing performance on standard test scores every year despite increased spending per student in just about every school system in America-where we spend more per student and get less results than almost any country in the world, but that is a story for another day.
It is the same with health care, although I believe the “tale of the tape” is distorted by some 10 million or more illegal aliens who have access to taxpayer funded free medical care.
We also have Ranked Choice Voting on the ballot this year: but that isn’t what it is being called. I don’t know how anyone who understands how this works thinks it is a good idea.
Think through it for a minute. Four candidates on the ballot, you vote/rank choice 3 of the candidates, but the 4th is a pedo, nose picking, lefty communist-so you leave that blank. Congratulations-your vote is thrown out and you may just have elected that perv…or someone worse…
Colorado-sigh-one of the most beautiful non-ocean front states in the US. Where one can gaze upon the splendor of the rising sun painting the Rockies and Pikes Peak on the ride into town, as the first vestige of snow paints an ominous warning of things to come as fall turns into winter.
Where it is not unusual to look around you and see other seemingly rugged individuals in this outdoorsy, western place driving their cars with their face diapers firmly in place: alone in their cars like some edification of Edgar Allen Poe madness loose in the wilderness. Are they protecting themselves-from themselves?

It is fitting that we had our first taste of winter today-31 degs, wind chill 22, blowing snow, frozen hoses, ah, the early taste of frustration amidst confirmation that winter is upon us. My friend tells me it is 87 down in San Marcos, Tx (and a pox on your kin,) while my Az bud tells me it got down to 74 today (may you stub your sandal cradled toe on a cactus.)
And the Tooth Fairy left you money for a rotten tooth. Nothing to see here, move along ya filthy peasants….
A recap on the relevant-the DVS in Mesa county Colorado-without any instruction from election lead Tina Peters or her election team clerks, started a sequence where it replicated the record vote data base to create a new one, used some type of logic to “cherry pick” the existing votes from the original data base to the newly created one, and then presented that new data base as the Mesa County Official Vote Record.
They did not know why it happened, how it decided which votes to select or who gave it the command to do it.
When Tina Peters called SOS Griswold’s office to report the problem, she discovered at one point in the conversation that the SOS‘ office was the keeper of the master passwords to the system-Mesa County did not have “administrative system or Master access” to their DVS. Peters advised that she would be unable to certify if her team could not resolve what happened-provide traceability from cast ballot to vote as now reported in the new database. The numbers could not be reconciled.
She was told her only option was to certify and was threatened with lawfare.
When the SOS decided some 4-5 months later that a software push was going to be done to every Colorado DVS-in 62 or 63 County’s around the state-and that update would overwrite the results of the 2020 and 2022 elections-which by federal and state law have a records retention requirement of 25 months, Peters had not yet resolved what happened, but had seen similarly anomalous results in 2022. She backed the records up as a routine matter to preserve the records per the law.
These systems that “could not be connected to the internet” somehow flagged this action and the SOS, DOJ, FBI and Colorado Bureau of Investigation executed the lawfare that was promised and raided Peters place of work, house, car, etc.
She was recently sentenced to 9 years for her eventual efforts to have a civilian cyber forensics firm evaluate the records to explain what happened.
Only in the current US Stasi State of affairs would the results of that forensic examination not come up in a trial charging her with “stealing” the files, violation of her oath and compromising state election systems.
And now this…Somewhere Dr. Eric Coomer and his DVS experts are getting bijee, bijee, bijee….

I’ve run long and will finish this one with one last thought.
How ironic is it that Griswold’s office has now committed the crime-whether wittingly or unwittingly-that netted Tina Peters a 9-year prison sentence. Something about compromising the security of a Colorado election system.
Which it now seems is “OK” as long as it is being investigated by the office that compromised the passwords. Why wasn’t Tina Peters’ allowed to investigate why Mesa County DVS machines that were mandated for use by the state to conduct the election tabulation, performed so poorly that she was unable to exercise her due diligence in certifying the election because the counted ballot totals did not match the submitted ballot totals?
But the SOS-Griswold-the “password compromiser-” simply replaced Tina Peters authority and responsibility to certify Mesa County by appointing another in her place.
And then later directed the overwriting of the election records well in advance of the authorized record retention date mandated by the state and federal authorities.
I wonder what Griswold’s punishment will be-as the election plays out and we are supposed to believe this charade about the sanctity and flawlessness of Colorado elections.
