One of the Trump administration’s first moves should be to pull the plug on every “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” (DEI) office and training program currently draining taxpayer dollars in government. These DEI initiatives are little more than “woke” mind-virus indoctrination camps, taking hard-earned money from Americans to fund bureaucratic navel-gazing and forced guilt sessions. These offices don’t unite—they divide, turning colleagues into strangers and making people see each other through lenses of oppression and privilege rather than shared purpose. If we’re going to drain the swamp, let’s start with the DEI-industrial complex.
DEI isn’t about equality or fairness; it’s about pushing a Marxist framework that breaks people into categories of “oppressed” and “oppressor,” pitting them against each other. This tactic is a page out of the socialist playbook, designed to destabilize by breaking down trust and replacing merit with identity politics. Do we want a government that hires and promotes people based on their qualifications or based on filling some social justice quota? Cutting DEI programs would save taxpayers millions while sparing federal employees from this relentless identity-politics machine.
And let’s be honest: these programs don’t actually make anyone more inclusive or empathetic. The so-called “unconscious bias” training they love to peddle is little more than glorified shaming sessions. Federal employees are guilt-tripped and bullied into admitting “biases” they don’t even have, all in the name of “progress.” The irony? There’s no solid proof these DEI workshops even work. They create resentment, not results. The administration could save taxpayers a bundle by shutting them down and investing in training that actually improves government performance.
Instead of DEI-driven hiring standards that shove real qualifications to the sidelines, let’s get back to a system where the best candidate gets the job. Federal agencies should focus on hiring people who can serve the country effectively, not ticking boxes on someone’s diversity chart. Identity quotas don’t lead to better government; they lead to mediocrity. Shutting down DEI departments would mean a return to merit, fairness, and—dare I say—common sense.
In short, the Trump administration could make a real, lasting difference by wiping DEI from the government roster. This move would end the divisive ideology embedded in these programs and bring back a focus on unity and capability. Time to clean house, end the DEI grift, and get back to serving all Americans based on what they bring to the table—not where they come from. Draining the swamp should start with these DEI offices.
