Biden’s latest acts against the law show again how liberals hold the American people in contempt, and how they are trying to hamper Donald Trump’s second administration.
Today, I am commuting the sentences of 37 of the 40 individuals on federal death row to life sentences without the possibility of parole. These commutations are consistent with the moratorium my Administration has imposed on federal executions, in cases other than terrorism and hate-motivated mass murder.
Make no mistake: I condemn these murderers…
But guided by my conscience…I am more convinced than ever that we must stop the use of the death penalty at the federal level. In good conscience, I cannot stand back and let a new administration resume executions that I halted.
In the days before Christmas, soon to be ex-president Joseph “Biden” O’Biden shocked no one with a two-digit intelligence quotient and continued with his list of pardons and commutations. Not content to cover his ass by pardoning his multiple felon son Hunter, Joey commuted the death sentences of 37 of 40 federal death row inmates. If he had the power, no question he would have commuted the death sentences of most (if not all) of the 2,180 prisoners sitting on state death rows in the country.
Now I really question the “good conscience” of a man who is pushing the mutilation of children too young to drive a car, death sentences for infants as they are breeching their mother’s birth canal, and importing hundreds of thousands of children from the third world for sexual exploitation. Then again Joe’s only out for Joe, and if this give him some applause on his way out, the fact it’s against the will of the American people, so be it. Plus he wants to hamstring the incoming Trump administration in any way he can.
The fact is Americans support capital punishment overall. While dropping since its peak of 80% support in 1994, a majority still support execution for murder in at least some cases. Not surprising, younger people oppose capital punishment. I’ve found as people age law and order become a more important issue, and they are less tolerant of excuses for crimes.
Question Joe, you say you’re only allowing executions for “terrorism or hate motivated mass-motivated?” If you recall (I know, iffy you recall your name) there are four men on death row at the Disciplinary Barracks at Ft Leavenworth KS. Only one (Nidal Malik Hasan) can arguably be called a terrorist. Two were convicted of murder and rape, and one was convicted of multiple premediated murders after a “fragging” incident in Kuwait. They are within your spectrum of authority, why are you leaving these men out to dry, while human scum with multiple murders and other felonies were let off the hook.
Again Joey, if you are doing this as a matter of “conscience,” why are there still three men on federal death row? If the death penalty should not be used, then it should not be used, no exceptions. I don’t question there is a legitimate discussion to be had over capital punishment, so then let’s have it. Personally I am in favor of capital punishment for murder, and I would return it for aggravated sexual assault (execution for rape alone was thrown out by the Supreme Court in 2008). Before someone puts on his Teleprompter the death penalty is unconstitutional, it is constitutional (see Amendment 5).
Some of the animals Joe let off because of his “conscience:
Jorge Avila-Torrez was convicted in the 2009 slaying of 20-year-old Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Amanda Jean Snell, who he strangled to death in her barracks. He was arrested the following year after kidnapping another woman, driving her to a secluded area before raping and strangling her. Avila-Torrez was later connected to the unsolved murder of eight-year-old Laura Hobbs and nine-year-old Krystal Tobias, two little girls who went missing in May of 2005.
Iouri Mikhel and Jurijus Kadamovas were convicted of murdering five people in a kidnapping-for-ransom scheme out of California. After nabbing the individuals separately over the course of four months, they demanded millions in ransom from their families. They collected more than one million dollars, then strangled their victims to death anyway, dumping their bodies in a Northern California reservoir.
Ricardo Sanchez and Daniel Troya were sentenced to die for the 2006 killing of a husband, his wife, and their two preschool-age children. The pair shot Luis Escobedo, his wife Yessica Guerrero Escobedo, and their two sons, 4-year-old Luis Julian and 3-year-old Luis Damian, in their car along the Turnpike in St. Lucie County, Florida, killing both boys as they cowered in their mother’s arms.
Joey, to paraphrase Barney Greenwald in The Caine Mutiny, “and for the rest of your life you’ll live with your conscience, if you have any!” I really question if you have any Joey.
This shows again the contempt liberals have for Americans. The people, through the federal and state governments, established statues that contain the possibility of a death sentence. You may argue if we should have that or not, fine. But that decision should be made by people through the legislative body (the Congress or the various state legislatures). Like immigration issues (or, yea, Obama and DACA). Or student loans (wait, O’Biden again).
O’Biden, as of the date of article, will have twenty days left in office to screw with country. He’s already vetoed a rare bi-partisan bill expanding the federal judiciary. And he’s trying to sell barrier material for the wall before Trump start to resecure the border. I would say, “What next?” but I don’t want to challenge him (or his staff, or Obama who’s really been calling the shots).
