Senator “Chicken Little” Schiff (D, Dante’s Inferno) went on Meet the Press last week and screamed that the sky is falling – again. Amazingly, he still thinks someone cares about his warnings.
Nancy Pelosi’s nominee for addition to Mount Rushmore has just
- Pardoned any crook who shares his last name,
- Cancelled the executions of murderers and rapists, and
- Released the terrorists behind the worst attack on America since Pearl Harbor (9/11 not 1/06).
Now the junior Senator from the poster child of state mismanagement is gravely concerned that President-Elect Trump will abuse his pardon authority when he returns to the office with no corners. I’ll give you a moment to stop laughing before I decode what Schiffty’s saying.
Adam Schiff is worried that the Donald will capitalize on the precedents set by “Crooked Joe” as he egged the country before retiring to his beach home, graciously provided by the Chinese communist government. It seems the thought of Trump using his pardon power to end the lawfare against January 6 selfie photographers, is giving poor Adam night terrors.
Apparently, the Democrats are the only ones allowed to violate norms – since they’re the evil party. Republicans are supposed to play by the rules set by Adam and his pals – since they’re the stupid party.
But Senator “Googly Eyes” hasn’t been keeping up with current events. Donald Trump hasn’t become a Republican; the Republicans have become MAGA. The Grand Old Party isn’t the party of Alen Spector and John McCain anymore. That whole evil/stupid party paradigm expired with the exit of “Back Stabber” Romney, “Witness Tampering” Cheney, and “Cry Baby” Kinzinger.
After the abuses of the Obama and Biden administrations, the MAGA Republicans have learned a thing or two. One of the most important epiphanies is that they can’t keep their campaign promises while following the rules which the radicals make up as they go – and they intend to keep their promises.
So, will Trump take advantage of the precedents set by “Nothing to Lose” Biden? I dunno, and I can’t say that I care very much. Anything Donald Trump does outside the bounds of normalcy will pale in comparison to the vandalism of his predecessor. I just hope he uses every tool at his disposal – “new normal” and otherwise – to undo the mess that the radicals have made of our republic.
As for that flaw in the gene pool named Adam Schiff, all I can say is that lunatics rave, liars lie, idiots aren’t always useful, and he hits the trifecta. Adam Schiff is living proof that being elected Senator doesn’t make one relevant – but I guess Kamala proved that before him.
