Just when you thought Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) had finally gasped its last bureaucratic breath, it’s back—rebranded, repackaged, and ready to waste even more corporate resources. Introducing JEDI: Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, because apparently, the original acronym wasn’t insufferable enough. The woke mind virus is nothing if not adaptable; like an overcooked sequel to a bad movie, it keeps coming back with a new title, hoping we won’t notice it’s the same plot with the same empty promises.
This latest rebranding is nothing more than a desperate attempt to make DEI sound fresh and virtuous, as if adding “Justice” suddenly gives it moral superiority. But let’s be honest—this isn’t about justice in the real sense. It’s about policing thoughts, enforcing ideological conformity, and making sure corporate HR departments have something to do other than hiring competent people. Instead of focusing on actual merit and competence, JEDI training will continue the fine tradition of dividing people into identity groups and obsessing over grievances, all while demanding loyalty oaths to the latest social fads.
And let’s talk about the irony here. The acronym JEDI was clearly chosen to evoke the heroic figures of Star Wars, but last time I checked, the Jedi were exterminated because of their blind arrogance and detachment from reality. Sound familiar? DEI—and now JEDI—isn’t about lifting people up based on their skills, talent, or contributions; it’s about lowering the bar to accommodate ideological quotas. The best candidate? Who cares! What matters now is making sure the new hire checks the right demographic boxes.
Of course, no one’s actually buying this nonsense, except for the diversity consultants and bureaucrats who profit from it. The rest of us—the ones who value actual competence over identity games—are forced to endure mandatory inclusivity training, where we’re lectured about our privilege and encouraged to nod along lest we be labeled problematic. The entire thing is a corporate racket, a pseudo-religion masquerading as progress, ensuring that mediocrity is protected at all costs.
Here’s a radical idea: What if we focused on merit? What if the best person got the job, regardless of race, gender, or ideological purity? What if companies prioritized excellence instead of virtue signaling? Unfortunately, that’s far too sensible for the JEDI cult. They don’t want justice; they want power. And until people wake up and start rejecting this nonsense outright, they’ll keep repackaging it, shoving it down our throats, and pretending it’s something new.
