Charlie Kirk: Turning Points in This Time (Part 1)

Charlie Kirk was assassinated. He will be an American political and cultural icon for some time to come. He is an explicitly American Christian martyr for the ages. While preceded by Christian missionaries martyred and settlers murdered on the frontier, Kirk is the first American martyr. He was killed because of his Christian speech above all. His Turning Point organization’s name is aptly emblematic of this point in time.

Charlie Kirk’s death will be more than a cultural blip of grieving for Selena and Dale Earnhardt because he and his message are tied to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His martyrdom moves the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit actually lives in over 60% of all Americans.

Will this assassination become the spark for a 4^th Great Awakening across America? I don’t know. I recall getting on my knees in the 90s when Promise Keepers had their big march in Washington – praying for a nationwide revival. Good came from Promise Keeper rallies, but no Great Awakening.

So, what are the turning points in this time?

1. Some politicians may find the courage of their Christian convictions to speak more plainly and clearly on issues. And, not mince words to make themselves more “inclusive” and non-threatening to the non-Believers or even the anti-Christians.
2. Some politicians and other grifters, especially on social media, will mouth Christian code seeking votes to attain more personal power and money.
3. Turning Point USA may reach many millions more young people and contend against the Human Secularist Totalitarians (Leftists) who dominate Education as an American institution. As well as gaining ground against the Leftists holding the heights across the Media, Arts and Entertainment, Government, Religion, and Family as the institutions which shape our culture and American Civilization.
4. Many, the Lord only knows how many, when, and where, may come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior, live and worship as Bible-based Christians.
5. Some will stray into other forms of faith and non-Bible-based communities. Hopefully, only for a season of ignorance.
6. Turning Points overseas may bring people to Christ and encourage them to stand up to the awful ruling Elites. Perhaps, even to vote them out of power. Possibly, in Europe, to prepare them for Civil War against Islam.
7. Turning Point and energized churches, as well as many Americans acting independently, may help young people to make the right, best choice to know God through the Bible, get married, stay married, have a lot of children, and live their best life possible as families. Also, prepare the American People for great, terrible trials ahead in this century.

And, if it is in God’s will, His perfect plan, His unfolding of time, a 4^th Great Awakening could arise.

The Human Secularist Totalitarian critics will claim Charlie Kirk and any coming turning point are Christian Nationalism likened to the National Socialism of Hitler’s Germany at worst. Or, they’ll belittle the religious faith which moves millions as merely MAGA Trump cultism. As always, they’re wrong. Their disgusting, biased, angry words are the overflow of their heart. The Leftists are who they project on others.

Charlie Kirk had his greatest turning point when he became absent this life to be present before his Savior, Lord Jesus Christ, in an instant. His martyrdom is meaningful. Purposeful. His short life is transcendent because of who he spoke. His loss to family and friends is tragic. Awful. Horrendous.

I never met this young man, but I grieve his loss. I will mourn his loss at my short end of the candle with a renewed courage and enthusiasm for Christ Jesus and His Kingdom.
