Classified Trash And Burn Bags: Treasure Trove Of Misdeeds, Routine Administrivia Stuff Or Smoking Gun?

Some Or All Of The Above And Potentially Criminally Indicting

Under ordinary circumstances nobody would even stop to read anything having to do with burn bags and classified-sensitive-trash information. The age of Trump has seen more than its share of the irrelevant elevated to the sensational, most of which has not been instigated by Trump himself but myriad elements of the dreadful LSMBTGANF which continues to try to hold sway over the public dialogue in ways that they would like to believe reassert their relevance.

Stuck in a rut of their own hubris and bad habits. Like a crack addict who can’t put down the pipe. Their actions are justified within the strategery elements of their propaganda operations-picture somebody like Occasional Cortex sitting with a straw in her own bathwater, wide eyed, mouth wide open blasting performative inanities at the ether, self-obsessed by the brilliant-in her mind-energetic but dullard psycho-babbling to her desperate followers clinging to her dreams of grandeur and their illusions of reality expressed in non-sensical, rapid fire delusion.

The unfortunate reality on display these days is just how manipulative and shallow these efforts of the LSMBTGANF have become. A pattern of self-delusion and self-exposure that any average thinking human shakes their head over and dismisses out of hand. Or conversely–for those desperate to hear anything that will contribute to the undermining of that Bad Orange Man–no matter how silly, counter-intuitive, or farfetched—such bizarre viewpoints provide sustenance and hope like a basement dwelling sports team that has one good inning, series of downs, period: anything to cling to in the hopes of reversing the doldrums.

Nowhere is this performative societal art form more on display—like the bizarro Superman world Thrae (earth backwards)—than in congress during supposed oversight hearings where those whining, complaining, and launching unhinged rants—the loudest of the loud–are the most likely not to show up for the inconvenient truth of details relating to fraud, waste, abuse, election shenanigans, illegal alien violence, blue state coddling of same. Etc.

It is much easier to stick your head up your caboose and continue to lie about “schtuff” than to face the reality of the ramifications of the policy you have advocated and do something about fixing it for your constituents in terms of economic ramifications, increased crime and violence, the undermining of education, the overwhelming of social services, medical facilities and police: nope, can’t do any of that.

Which is much waxing of profundity but just consider the sequence of events in recent months where we had counter protests to the 250th celebration of our independence as a country, the Reflecting Pool madness where algae was celebrated and cheered on by the left, where many states refused to participate in the celebration of states on the Mall in Washington DC, and a major address by the President of the United States of America was not only not carried by some “major” newscasts including CBS, NBC and ABC, but many of the LSMBTGANF actually propagated a new term of action to “pre-bunk” the president’s speech before it was given.

Johnathan Turley wrote (above) an insightful piece decrying some of the original 13 colonies’ lack of support, highlighted by the following:

Massachusetts is a particular insult.  The home of John Adams and other colonial leaders elected to sit out the celebrations. Recently, we discussed how a Massachusetts church ended the long-standing celebration of the Fourth of July to focus on the “on-going process within the congregation to better understand our own whiteness.”

John Adams once wrote his wife Abigail to predict that Independence Day would be:

“celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the Day of Deliverance by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires and illuminations from end of this continent to the other from this time forward forever more.”

The Freedom Trail and iconic historical sites in Massachusetts make for an unforgettable visit for those who value such things.

Next door my home state little Rhodey (although I was born in California) similarly dodged participation. Despite one of the biggest income generators being tourism in a state with dismal economic prospects that at one point led the nation in businesses with under 20 employees—which some tout as a good economic metric—and the allure of those beautiful beaches and the Newport Mansions and a true multi-ethnic and diverse culture and population, state geniuses riddled with Trump Derangement Syndrome couldn’t be bothered to participate in Trump’s “vanity celebration.”

Where the state would potentially court millions of visitors that includes unprecedented numbers over and above the normal DC foreign foot traffic that has exploded with folks attending the World Cup: nope, couldn’t be bothered.

While going all out for the American Association of Motor Vehicles Administrators annual lint meeting which—in keeping with state tradition and custom—has likely been finessed through politics and “grease” to result in corrupt little Rhode Island getting the coveted leadership of the association.

Never heard of it? Didn’t know it was a “thing?” Puzzled over political leaders who have their heads so far up their poop chute they can see the Jamestown Bridge through their mouth?

Woo potentially millions of potential tourists to your state-a scant 5-hour drive or so from DC: phffft, we must fight the Bad Orange Man King to prove that—um, er—that we can! Just like we fought the last King!

With woke ignorant leaders like that a state can struggle for a very long time through very hard times and never get ahead.

Total, corruptocrat democrat stronghold.

Meanwhile, rather than covering it live to inform their viewers, the LSMBTGANF arrogantly skipped airing the event but afterward had the bagels to put together so-called “subject matter expert” panels to put their own spin on the substance of a speech they did not carry to their viewers.

Denying the opportunity for their scanty audience to judge the speech for themselves and substituting themselves as the authority on what was said, what was meant and what it “actually” means.

Making the dullard choice to spend significant air time both before the speech was given, and afterwards, generating interest in the event while not covering it, and expecting those same viewers they discouraged from watching it-or driving them to other news sources—they arrogantly expected those viewers to return to see the post speech shenanigans.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t think I could come up with a quicker scheme to drive those networks into bankruptcy faster than they are doing themselves through their manipulation of the news and their viewers who are dwindling by the day.

Which seems appropriate as we head into an important election season where we are seeing the rise of socialist and communist support in elements like the Democratic Socialist Party, which has goals and objectives that read like something out of a 1960s era Communist Manifesto, counterculture, Abby Hoffman “Steal This Book” approach to community organizing a la Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals.”

Where the point is the message and the angst and counterculture and the spin: without regard to the facts.

Which brings us back to what is truly a mundane subject that I never thought would be the topic of interest of a President’s speech, achieving glorious coverage-by those who paid attention-and total disregard from the usual subjects who should have been paying closer attention.

I’m talking about those burn bags, the equivalent of intelligence community trash, garbage. Man, what a hot topic! Any human who has ever dealt with or been around classified information is familiar with the topic from experience.

Rather than do my typical lede burying, waxing philosophical encirclement of the topic while going far astray from the subject at hand, I’m going to attempt to explain how it is that these burn bags likely came about and why it says a lot about what makes government civilian service an American institution that we should not be losing faith in as the typical reindeer games and canine, equestrian Olympics play out in what passes for serious media these days.

Much like everything else in government, myriad rules and regulations govern the creation, handling, filing, storage, destruction and records keeping requirements of government information.

Mainly because the government is spending–expending–taxpayer dollars in the form of program funds approved by congress and is thereby answerable to oversight—their bosses-We the People–in the form of congress-who performs due diligence through oversight of such actions to maintain accountability to the people.

The National Archive and Records Agency (NARA) is the linty, nose picking Executive Branch office responsible for records policy and is normally an agency that nobody knows anything about: but not in the era of Trump.

Where NARA was elevated by deep state swampers into an action agent-a lawfare battering ram–to go after a former president, empowered by his successor and lawfare focused sycophants in an effort that represents one of the most Stasi-State episodes in American political history (but I digress.)

NARA is relevant here because of the federal records act requirements where each government entity provides reporting once a year and moves official files to comply with NARA requirements and does housecleaning to tidy up the “scene” of work by complying with mandated records keeping guidance.

So that report I completed on the umpty fratz results of diddly squat, the final product, record copy becomes the official report. While the draft versions, copies, notes and supporting material are typically destroyed within 90 days or so of completion—by riding down the classified waste chute to the “burn plant,” or make their way into burn bags that are often collected weekly or monthly by the “burn cart operator”, or shredded via a local machine in the copy room by the author or coordinator of the report.

This goes for all information, from Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Privacy Act protections, to unclassified or Sensitive But Unclassified information-most of which is For Official Use Only, up through the 3 general categories of classification-confidential, secret and top secret, as well as associated compartments and quasi-compartments like NATO (which seems redundant but those cleared for secret require a separate read-on for NATO-secret) or Five Eyes (US, Canada, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand) or whatever.

There are more “sensitive” information types that reside in official, well known sensitive, compartmented information channels like Talent Keyhole (somewhat mind boggling to find that openly displayed on a CIA website-I have to stop myself from reaching for a lighter to burn my screen) and the most bigoted and somewhat Ad Hoc compartments that may have as few as single digit numbers of personnel witting and cleared for access.

And then there are the variations thereby such as Polo Step to protect time sensitive targeting efforts, Byeman which was a legacy NRO contracting compartment, and various designations or conventions as cover for projects, persons, places and things like project XX7 or CX, Area 51, or agent winky, winky Smith who works at Site 6 by area 59.

Note most of the above involve classified information, unlike things like law enforcement sensitive case material which is more PII focused unless it involves things like wire taps, surveillance and the like. Which in the J. Edgar Hoover days involved a vast array of techniques, sources and methods like the infamous counterintelligence program to spy on and collect dirt on his perceived enemies such as the mob, political enemies and Martin Luther King.

Hoover would have been envious of today’s FBI with its massive personnel numbers (~35K,) expansive budget and affiliation with an ill-fitting bed fellow—the DNI-and its generous annual stipend to FBI of over a billion dollars to up their intel chops that arguably funds the FBI to achieve record numbers of illegal FISA applications that at last count amounted to 247K improperly cited and predicated actions.

I have to add that the FBI—while markedly improving of late–remains the worst IC element in terms of intel ability: like a water and oil thingie.

Intel is about speculation, probability, finesse and operations (likely, unlikely, probable, possible,) whereas the FBI is an evidentiary based focused LEA element: the former not good for court cases.

The fact that the Comey led FBI found itself suppressing and circumventing basic, fundamental US Title 18 cut and dry security statutes to escort Hillary Rodham Clinton to the presidential election event must have grated on a lot of agent oaths and dedication.

The shenanigans by FBI leadership and especially the counterintelligence division against folks like Papadopoulos, Carter Page, LTG Michael Flynn, raids against cooperating suspects like Cohen, Manafort, Roger Stone and others—leaked to the LSMBTGANF like some vanity reality show–was likely the cherry on top proof that the politicized FBI needed an enema and they provided it in terms of safeguarding burn bag material.

When I left the Navy Yard for a new job, 6 boxes of personal papers never made it-security shredded them to “be safe.” Which was bizarre since they were scheduled to be couried to my office at my new job which was also in a SCIF.

You can accrue a lot of material over the years in a government career. I later produced a dozen or so burn bags cleaning out my office and two file cabinet drawers (five-foot width) full of material in our technology laboratory as I cleared out my stuff and out processed.

Why did I leave stuff behind in file drawers that I would no longer be cleared to access or view? Good question-but there were a few—ahem—ongoing issues like Inspector General investigations that I had participated in, provided statements and had germane material that I did not want to destroy—budget reports, personnel counseling, memorandum for record accounts of “schtuff,” and the like.

I received a call after retirement on two of the cases and also participated in a court hearing where one of my former subordinates was petitioning the court to get his clearance back. Those papers came in handy as did the help of an “insider or two” in refreshing the highlights in these cases. And knowing the government, those files might still be sitting right where I left them.

The point being that Human Resource and security offices may have zero classified information but scads of PII to deal with at the end of the year from people submitting information for jobs and filling out burdensome security paperwork like the daunting form 398 personal security application that contains PII on family members, friends, former bosses, addresses, phone numbers, financial information, etc.

You know, the type of information compromised when the Chinese hacked OMB back in 2012 or so and those of us compromised did not find out until nearly 3 years later when the Obama Administration picked up the costs for individual credit protection for tens of millions of us at $65 bucks pers civil servant—but no protection, support of even acknowledgement of the collateral damage that would have exposed–in my case alone—at least an additional 2o or more people (parents, spouse, parents, children, references, neighbors, etc., etc.

Ten million 398s would conservatively expose more than 50 million people’s PII when you include references: I provided 11 updates over my career in 7 different places…

That’s of no interest here. What is of interest is that some guiding, benevolent hand in government who was responsible for dispositioning classified destruction of sensitive material in reportedly the FBI did a solid for the American people by ensuring that material destined to be destroyed–as evidenced by its presence in burn bags–but apparently judged to be relevant as evidence of criminality, malfeasance or dirty deeds done dirt cheap of the unlawful lawfare variety, ensured this material was preserved.

And the LSMBTGANF is bullspit and desperate over this: how dare this person(s) fail to do their duty and abide by NARA and national security requirements, spit bubbles and ranting at the moon to follow. All made up by Bad Orange Man because, well, it is all made up!

Hence the need to prebunk the President’s speech, blackout his speech by not broadcasting it, and then have a panel to inform their handful of viewers what they found deeply disturbing about the speech that the viewers did not hear.

The most disturbing thing about it should be what the LSMBTGANF and FBI leadership did and the chutzpah–hubris and disdain– ABC, NBC and CBS showed for their limited viewers: total disrespect and arrogance.

That’s not it: the most disturbing aspect about it is that these FBI employees knew intuitively, here, here, here,—as many others found out the hard way—that if you buck the system and make waves—speak up—the system will crush you and retaliate and ensure you get what is coming to you.

The travesty is not those denying it happened, disregarding and distorting the facts, ignoring the perpetrators’ own words as evidence of their perfidy, castigating those who call them out.

The travesty is that these often government civilian servants, who swear an oath as part of their office and are very well compensated by American taxpayers, have gotten away with all of this—most of which was led by similarly corrupt presidents–including Obama and Biden and the near entirety of their administration, both of whom led these efforts through example, thought words and deeds.

And nobody has been held responsible for any of it.

And yet it is the Bad Orange Man shaking people’s faith in our government
