While Republicans may seem to have an advantage in the midterms, because of Democrats projecting so much nonsense, it would be great if all the talking heads on the right would quit broadcasting their predictions of the great red wave about to hit the American shores. One thing sure to keep Republican voters at home is to assume a win, by such a great margin that it might not need my vote. Every time I hear about the great red wave, or tsunami, I cringe.
What makes it even worse are all the emails I get from all the organizers, from Trump to the NSRC, and everything in between. It tells me that the organizers made a prediction, but based on none of their own efforts. You have to earn that vote, not just beg for money, telling people, that “Hey, Mark! You didn’t sign Melania’s birthday card” or “Hey Mark! There are only five hours left for matching 10X donations”. What kind of math do they use, saying “10X donations?” I don’t recall that kind of math, from school. I spend an inordinate amount of time deleting emails. That was just one reason my computer stayed turned off, this weekend. The problem with that was when I turned it on, this morning, I had several hundred to delete, many which were more campaign begging emails.
If the RNC would listen to me, well good luck with that, they might show a list of accomplishments before they go begging for more money. I will never have enough money to sate their appetites, so I just don’t do much contributing. I want results, first! It seems counterintuitive to brag about a win that might not happen. What happens if it is simply because the Party decided that the election in 2020 was legitimate and let it happen with no challenges, and 2022 turns out to be another theft?
Like almost everything in life and culture, there is a Peter and a Wolf, and the typical voter has already made up their minds, but there are also those who have a strong distaste for stolen elections. I’m one of them. Can you tell? One thing the Party could do is to kick to the curb several RINOs, especially in leadership, get rid of the seniority system for advancement to leadership, and get back to grassroots recruiting new blood. The Party barkers need to quit this nonsensical begging and produce results that make loyal voters, instead of a bunch of ATMs for perpetual re-election campaigns. Trying to convince me of a great future win, only because the Democrats are doing our work for us, and begging for money, perpetually, just makes me less interested. I don’t believe it when The former governor of South Carolina sends me an email, that I just got the same thing from the former governor of Texas. It gets old. I know we need the bank account, but results are the value that makes me want to donate, not empty promises. Vote Republican, but send them a message, saying “DELIVER! or else.” I can go to a used car lot and get a better sales pitch than “Give me money”. I think they may have gotten this latest campaign begging from Wimpy, about hamburgers.
Oh yeh, happy birthday, Melania. How did they drag you into this?
