Parody As a Weapon Part XLI

From the love that dare not speak its name to the one that won’t shut up.

Previously in Part XL, we examined Biden and the left’s exploitation of the latest tragedies wrought by the evil and crazy by blaming the tool instead of the fool or ghoul, making use of the song parody medium. In this session, we will take note of a very vocal minority shouting for everyone’s attention, using a song parody from a movie theme song about an event that apparently slipped Joe Biden’s mind.

Monday June 6 was the 78th anniversary of the beginning of the Normandy landings in Operation Overlord, known to many in the public as D-Day. The early waves of the invasion faced fierce opposition, particularly at Omaha and Utah Beaches; and thousands of lives were sacrificed to open another front in the war against Nazi Germany. This scene from “Saving Private Ryan” is but a brief clip of a film re-creation of the level of carnage encountered prior to the beaches being secured. Cornelius Ryan authored a book entitled “The Longest Day” about the battle from both a strategic and personal level that was made into a star-studded epic movie sixty years ago.

Despite the level at which this recent historical event has been embedded in the memory of Americans who cherish the bravery, service and sacrifice of those who participated in the effort to roll back the dictatorial Nazi regime that had consumed much of the European continent, the anniversary was ignored by Joe Biden until the criticism forced him to acknowledge the event.

It may be tempting for some to blame Biden’s cognitive decline for his lack of alacrity in commemorating D-Day, but he has shown an ability to be among the first to commemorate those groups or events he holds precious. Before the dawn’s early light had crossed the fruited plain on the 1st of June, Biden’s White House issued this proclamation, designating the month of June as Pride Month, in honor of homosexuality.

In order to draw credit with the woke mob, corporations and agencies have been broadcasting their praise for the courageous LGBT community. Even the masters of amphibious landing, the United States Marine Corps got into the act. The messages of support were so ubiquitous that the man bites dog story was when five members of the Tampa Bay Rays cited their religious objections to wearing Pride flags endorsing homosexuality on their uniforms during the game.

Certainly, it is easy to draw the conclusion that to the Biden Administration, the true heroes and bearers of courage are those who embrace a lifestyle that was considered unnatural and outlawed in many jurisdictions until the last two decades of the 20th century, and is still punishable by death in countries governed by adherents to the religion of peace.

At the conclusion of “The Longest Day”, a theme song is played, dedicated to those who participated in the battle. Pop singer Paul Anka, who appeared in the film, also released a version. All that is absent from all of the shouts of commiseration with the LGBT community is such a heroic theme song to celebrate the achievements of those who have chosen to liven under the rainbow flag.

So, with apologies to every veteran of Operation Overlord, their families, war movie fans and those who support traditional Christian values, I have borrowed this theme song in order to give credit to those not merely seeking tolerance, but demanding a celebration of their sexual choices. It is recommended, though, that those who choose to embrace the song and the lifestyle avid rooftop concerts in Kabul.

Many men once thought perverted
Now insist you shout Hooray
As they seek men to be converted
As they become the loudest Gay

And of these men if you grow weary
of how brave they are they say
then soon at you they’ll all be shouting
As they become the loudest Gay

The loudest Gay, the loudest Gay
Who will be the loudest Gay
Filling Twitter and Instagram
Filled with the pride of the damned

Many men, there might be thousands
Celebrating sodomy
Marching on, to claim the title
of the loudest Gay in history

The loudest Gay, the loudest Gay
Who will be the loudest Gay
Watch them as they go for broke
Rally along with the woke

Many men, there might be millions
Identify L G B T
Twerkiing on, to claim the title
of the loudest Gay in history
