Part 1 addressed the magnitude of the crass political lawlessness demonstrated by the DOJ FBI in raiding the home of United States of America 45th President Donald J Trump. The raid stands by itself-no matter the reason-as an unprecedented event in our nation’s history, being the first and only time such a political action has ever been undertaken.
Far worse is the fact that our government has been working with him since he left office, receiving a trove of documents in January 2022, visiting his home on June 3, 2022 to discuss documents that the National Archive and Records Administration believed were missing from the White House archives during his term, with the agents securing some additional records and also advising that his security or storage area be bolstered by additional security, which Trump apparently complied with.
The ”Bongino” rule applies here because as I went to press on Part 1, the early spin indicated that AG Garland and the Biden Administration “story” was the SGT Schultz version: a former president’s home was raided and they “knew nothing.” Garland finally fessed up this afternoon that he approved the action. We now have to decide whether it would have been worse that he did not know about it, or that he approved it…
In keeping with the delusional nature of just about everything associated with this administration, Garland did not bother explaining why this had to be done at this point in time, particularly while the FBI was in discussions with Trump about the material of concern.
No-as described in this Federalist Article, he went on the offensive against American distrust of the DOJ and FBI-I kid you not. From the piece:
Garland initially took responsibility for authorizing the raid but later refused to acknowledge that much of the nation’s fault-finding is actually with him.
Instead, in a short speech on Thursday afternoon, he berated Americans for daring to question the DOJ and the FBI’s credibility.
Despite the fact that more than half of U.S. voters say bureaucratic agencies such as the DOJ and FBI are too big and too focused on advancing a political agenda, Garland defensively claimed that “attacks” on his agents and prosecutors are “unfounded” and “unfair.”
“Men and women of the FBI and the Justice Department are dedicated patriotic public servants. Every day, they protect the American people from violent crime, terrorism, and other threats to their safety while safeguarding our civil rights. They do so at great personal sacrifice and risk to themselves. I am honored to work alongside them,” Garland said.
It’s hard to remember in the grand scheme of things-because it was so long ago in swamp time-but didn’t we have a president impeached by the house for targeting a potential future political opponent in what turned out to be an innocuous phone call-that was released to the public? Is the above incident not worse and much more politically motivated? Have you watched the Council on Foreign Relation’s video of Biden bragging about how he blackmailed Ukrainian President Poroshenko by withholding a billion in United States aid unless they fired the prosecutor investigating Burisma Holdings-who had hired Vice President Biden and Secretary of State John Kerry’s sons to be company board members to inoculate and protect the company against the might of the US-that had already been responsible under Obama for helping achieve a regime change away from a Putin ally just a scant few years prior to this (Burisma also puzzlingly hired the Central Intelligence Agency’s Cofer Black?)
Does the swamp or deep state really give two spits what we think about this documented bribery of a foreign sovereign nation to maintain incestuous influence and money bribes??? Nobody needs to translate Biden’s words to figure out his intent-although many in the LSMBTG have dismissed this as Biden talk-what Obama described as “never underestimate Joe’s capability to F’ things up,” despite the prosecutor being fired, the aid was received, and the sons received their “beak money.” But-of course-Orange Man Bad.
The next saga in this deep state action is to declare that a lot of classified documents were found. For those who have no experience or haven’t worked in and around government classified information before, the bottom-line up front is the President of the United States is the ultimate and final authority on classified information. If the president-or former president-says they are unclassified-they are-period-full stop.
It doesn’t matter that they have not been re-marked, changed, amended, appended, nope! I might be the Original Classification Authority on a document or product that I wrote, or my agency produced: but the authority to do so is delegated from the president. Now responsibility for the safeguarding of classified information rests on all who have contact with or come into possession of it-I’m talking about you HRC: but her case dealt more with the establishment of an illegal server and insecure communication channel that she then used to violate the tenets and agreements she signed up to in exchange for the granting of her security clearance.
Oh, and she also compromised everybody who communicated with her on that illegal email server-none moreso than President Barrack Hussein Obama, who said he did not know about the server/emails, and that he heard about it from the press the same time we did, which seemed strange because: (1) HRC communicated via this email server with him via his Blackberry (2) she did so to his pseudonym (3) White House Communications Agency or Secret Service communications staff computer geeks had to set it up for him (4) his statement has stiff competition with his “keep your doctor, keep your plan, save $2500” lies and may only be second in the annals of presidential big F’n lies because some democrat before him boldly said “I did not have sex with that woman,….”
Of course in both cases (actually all 3) the lie was okay because they were (a) democrat elitists plying their trade in a two-tiered US justice system, and (b) each had a different meaning in mind when they made those bald faced lies (HRC knew she could get away with it because she was the type of girl who would take Obama’linsky down with her,) (c) Obama knew that he would get cover from the LSMBTG no matter how much he lied-(d) but he really didn’t care what we thought about it, anyway, and (e) Clinton did not think the blue dress was going to “come clean” into the open like it did-but (f) he figured he could weather the storm regardless in the first true test of the rallying power of the LSMBTG and the swamp echo chamber (but it’s a personal matter: he committed perjury-he suborned false testimony with witnesses-but it’s a personal matter-rinse and repeat…)
Some may equate these two situations as the same, but it is an apple and a hubcap: the president-any president-has total authority for the information that may come into question, while HRC violated the terms of her clearance undertaken to gain access to the information in the first place, that she then set up a scheme that involved violating the terms of her clearance agreement, as she mishandled and failed to secure the information that was entrusted to her. When you hear somebody’s clearance has been suspended, it is usually United States Code Title 18 and violations thereunder.
A friend of mine named “Winky” has some old military dichotomous identification keys that were originally classified “confidential.” Many date from the Vietnam war, but when they were declassified, “somebody” crossed out the still visible “confidential” security markings throughout some portions of the document, which came into his possession when his unit was throwing them away. They are the furthest thing from official looking declassification markings/regradings you can get-short of having no markings. If you were to look at the documents today-they look “dodgy”–you might get a queasy feeling about them-but that is the nature of the security business.
That same friend-Winky-had come into possession of a government safe that was abandoned at a job site when the contractor lost the contract, and everything had to be moved out. Unfortunately, the combination that was believed to be the correct one-25-50-25, which is the government default setting for an empty safe-was not set right, did not work (neither did 50-25-50)-or somebody messed up “bigly.” Since Winky had a clearance, it was now “their” problem and they had to pay a safecracker $400 to open the safe to ensure there was no classified in it-it was empty-before it was disposed of properly.
All to say that in the government we all know and love, you take on an obligation with a security clearance: everybody plays by the same rules: except for those who qualify for the second tier of our justice system. But you don’t often see somebody go through every page of every document that is declassified to downgrade it officially.
I want to get back to Garland’s ridiculous, Pollyana comments, but I went so long with my response/rant that I’m going to publish it as Part 3.
Dick Cheney-the man most responsible along with Donald Rumsfeld-for accumulating enough lies and distortions to convince President Bush to press congress to approve one of the most ill-advised operations in the history of our nation and our military has weighed-in on Trump and wants you to know about it and has declared the Bad Orange Man the greatest threat to democracy in our history: Dick Cheney (and yes, I know-don’t forget George Tenet-but remember that Cheney and Rumsfeld hated the CIA-not only because of the first Gulf War and the conflicts over Iraq force numbers and casualty estimates between USCENTCOM, the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Central Intelligence Agency-miles apart-but also the sad state of HUMINT information available-largely attributable to Clinton’s peace dividend (and I always mention that Clinton had such low regard for the CIA that when a plane crash landed on the White House lawn, the pundit’s joked that it was CIA Director/Director of Central Intelligence James Woolsey trying to get in to see Clinton.) Rumsfeld stood up a new analytic/intelligence element in the Pentagon to do such analysis-the Counter-Intelligence Field Activity-CIFA-and it was standard fare during this time for the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense executives in the Pentagon to cheerlead analysis intended for the Secretary that could beat the CIA to the Presidential Daily Briefing. So in the final analysis-having been involved to a degree in the Powell briefings on what we knew and did not know-which amounted to a low confidence belief in the theory being pushed (that Hussein was developing mobile or portable nuclear capability and was looking to provide it to terrorists,) Tenet was presented with a “still beating your wife issue,” one answer scenario.)
Yes, that Dick: The hunter who shot his friend, the man perhaps most responsible for what Colin Powell described as a “You break it, you own it” problem if ever there was one in foreign policy terms. The numbers are tough to go through, but some 4,431 US service members have been killed in Iraq, with some 31,994 wounded in action, most of whom were maimed through the Iranian supported improvised explosive device campaign, where the enemy of my enemy rule applied (most of the deaths attributable to the Cuds Force of the Iranian Republican Guards Corps under Qassim Soleimani.) Tens and tens and tens of thousands more suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and receive stipends from our government to this day from those injuries. Iraq deaths are problematic but believed to be between 188k and 208K, while including combatants brings the total to about 288K.
Cheney supported Trump for president in 2016, but now he finds himself desperate and forced to align with and communicate for his RINO, unhinged daughter-who has inexplicably been played so well by Nanny Pelosi that she and her RINO sidekick Adam Weepsinger actually believe they are the only ones on the republican side standing between an abyss that the US is about to fall into-and Trump-who is pushing the nation into the hole. But Dick is the latest patsy RINO to sing for their supper with democrats to smear Trump with lefty talking points.
If there ever was the face of evil to a democrat, it was-and remains-Dick Cheney, who my democrat relatives believe that “Dick” is actually his middle name, because for decades his first name has been “Evil F’n.”: but they seemed to have warmed up to him right now in the latest rendition of the fungibility that is swamp morality.
When you think about the number of RINO, squish republicans Trump exposed over the last 7 years or so, it is incredible to consider that each followed the lemming in front of them-willingly-most often attaching a new democrat bumper sticker to their arse as they blissfully skipped to…
The veneer or pretense of faux legitimacy is no longer important in the radioactive politicalized swamp, not even as lip service. If there is one thing the swamp discovered in the 21st century above all else, it is that people don’t mind being lied to as long as it’s for a good cause-a narrative that supports the truth they want to believe, vice the inconvenient facts they don’t like: truth does not lie in between these positions, it is irrelevant in the social media-LSMBTG news cycle where people hear what they want-expect-demand-and then move on-never to engage again on an issue that has been settled to their satisfaction.
I opted to cover the security issue above and defer my commentary on the issue of the White House and Garland for Part 3.

This is not an argument, but a sad commentary about the intelligence community, that George Tenet may have been the best of the directors of the CIA, at least, which may still not be saying much. If I recall right, it was Tenet who tried to warn the administration about al Qaeda, and no one took his warnings. Tenet’s warnings were overshadowed by a certain “Blue Dress” scandal, which only made Bill Clinton lob missiles blindly into somewhere in the sands of the middle east, as a distraction from his domestic problem. The only thing left of the CIA appears to be wokeness and a big building filled with remnants of the past.
Thanks for reading. George Tenet was a good man in my experience who cared deeply about our country-who was thrust into the job by politics at a time when he truly was ill-prepared for such a challenge. Being the Director of Central Intelligence prior to the establishment of the DNI-while CIA Director-was just an impossible job that required a person to put their life on hold for the duration. The Community Management Staff was ~300 people-while the DNI stood up with 1500 and twice as many contractors-and I would submit the DNI is far more political and far less effective–17 years later–having become even more political and with size comes dilution of capability.
The CIA is a shell of its former self-and getting worse by the year-as evidenced by two recent catastrophic intel failures–Dir Burns recently observed that the agency was “less wrong than other agencies” when it came to Afghanistan falling within 11 days-now there is a standard to shoot for-and we can’t forget about Ukraine-where we are 6 months into an effort that was supposed to be over in 72 hours (albeit, according to Austin and Milley–but the Presidential Daily Brief is still largely CIA, briefed by the DNI lead…)
