2022 Winners And Losers

It’s hard to believe 2022 has come to a merciful end.  It’s even harder to believe there were any winners, but there were. Of course, the share of losers is legion.  Let’s have a look. (disclaimer – this is not an all-encompassing list, by any means)

 

Unborn Babies

Easily the biggest winners of 2022 are the millions of unborn babies that won’t be aborted this year or next year or ever.  The right to life declared in our founding documents was affirmed by the Supreme Court of the United States thanks to the successful appointments of President Donald Trump to that court.  Innocent human life is once again recognized by our courts for the first time since the mistaken 1973 Roe v. Wade decision.  Unfortunately, the Dobbs decision didn’t go far enough and is a little like throwing slavery back to the states to decide – if you don’t like slavery, then don’t own a slave – but it’s better than nothing.

 

Abortion lobby

There are several losers as a result of Dobbs.  The abortion lobby and all of its disgusting straphangers are fit to be tied, from the ghoulishly misnamed Planned Parenthood to fake feminists to their lapdog media and Congressional puppets.  The Dobbs decision magnified their cries to pack the Supreme Court and add Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C. as states to guarantee four more leftwing Senators to codify abortion.  So far, their plan isn’t working.  Let’s hope it never does.  However, you can be sure the crocodile tears from PP et al have also magnified their already overflowing coffers.  What serendipity for them.

 

Elon Musk

Elon is winning the media wars, both social and other.  His tumultuous on again, off again purchase of social media giant, Twitter, has set the world of information afire, not to mention the liberal world’s collective hair.  A day doesn’t go by without an Elon mention somewhere in the headlines.  Although no conservative himself, he has won the accolades of many a conservative for his strong stance on the First Amendment.  You know, that pesky free speech clause that some claim liberals used to love (I never believed that).  He has also earned the bitter scorn, wrath and enmity of just as many, if not more, leftists for the same reason, his love for the First Amendment and free speech, something they loathe. 

 

Elon Musk has lifted the mask off the leftwing media in this country through his exposure of the Twitter Files.  Elon has slowly released with a drip, drip, drip of insider censorship information of the inner workings at Twitter.  What conservatives have suspected and shouted about all along, the Twitter Files have confirmed – conservative organizations and voices have been censored by big tech.  The liberal media mavens are screeching about this divulgence as they scramble back to their comfortable darkness like the cockroaches they are, exposed by the light of truth.  The Dem media’s silence and news blackout of the actual substance of the Twitter Files revelations is very telling.  Their personal attacks against him are typical of bullies that have been called out.  Elon’s net worth and his prize possession, Tesla, have suffered in the process but he seems to think the sacrifice was worth it.  Free speech believers agree.

 

FBI

The biggest loser to Elon’s win is the FBI.  That once venerable national police organization has a black eye that won’t heal as a result of the Twitter Files.  Document dumps from independent reporter Matt Taibi and others reveal that the FBI has for years been illegally, unconstitutionally in violation of the First Amendment been working in concert with Twitter to suppress free speech on that platform.  This amount of government corruption revealed without a shadow of doubt is unprecedented.  The FBI would have us believe that text messages, meetings, memos and such directing Twitter to curb the speech and reach of opponents of the Deep State is just for conspiracy theorists.  The FBI has become our version of the Gestapo or Stasi.  Both the FBI and CIA have invaded the employee ranks of both Twitter and Facebook with ex-agents.  Why?  Perhaps the new Congress can find out.  Stay tuned.

 

Chaya Raichik

The founder of the social media sensation Libs of TikTok has finally outed herself.  After being doxed by the biggest whiner at the Washington Post (quite the honor), Taylor “Tay Tay” Lorenz, Chaya decided to come out of the closet, so to speak.  She showed her face publicly for the first time this week on Tucker Carlson Today on Fox Nation streaming service.  Chaya has bravely and single-handedly exposed the gender queer theory indoctrination of school children as young as 4-year-old pre K’s by weirdo groomers acting as teachers.  Her extensive exposure of these pedophile groomers on her Twitter account, Libs of TikTok, caught the attention of powerful people on the left and right.  Most notable among them, Florida governor Ron DeSantis.  Armed with the knowledge provided by Chaya Raichik, Gov. DeSantis proceeded to successfully rip into Walt Disney Corporation and the Florida Teachers Union thugs. 

 

You know Chaya Raichik is doing the right thing by the enemies she’s created for herself.  By doing nothing more than bringing to the public’s attention the words of sick child predators disguised (barely) as teachers, the cultural left has declared war on her and Libs of TikTok.  She suffered the same fate as other conservatives at the hands of the fascists at Twitter prior to Musk.  For her own safety, she’s had to move her residence due to the doxing by “Tay Tay” and visits and threats by leftist, violent kooks.  All parents of small children owe her a debt of gratitude.  Go Chaya!

 

Volodymyr Zelensky

The Uniparty in Washington, D.C. has found its new Churchill, Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine.  Congress is smitten with a 14 year olds’ puppy love crush for Zelensky.  He can do no wrong in their collective eyes – “Beat me, spit on me, ridicule me.  I don’t care.  I love you!”.  Love to the tune of $100 billion is a whole lotta love.  With the passage last week of the $2+ trillion omnibus budget bill (the Inflation Reduction Act, Part 2 – to be signed into law in St. Croix by the ever-vacationing Brandon), Congress has lavished another $45 billion of unaccountable taxpayer largesse on Volod.  The Russian economy is smaller than Italy’s and its defense budget is around $65 billion, but who’s counting?  Zelensky is happy and that’s all that matters to our lords in Congress. Unlike Ukraine, the Mexican drug cartels have managed to escape President Brandon’s and Congress’ notice by being smart enough not to dress their drug smugglers and coyotes in Russian military garb.  Imagine how secure our southern border would be if they did.  You can argue those cartel terrorists are evil, but you can’t say they are dumb.

 

American Taxpayer

The biggest loser of all this year has been the American taxpayer.  We have been the biggest suckers of all.  We pay for millions of illegal aliens invading our states, our schools, our hospitals, and our neighborhoods, except Martha’s Vineyard of course.  Milton Friedman said we can’t have a welfare state and an open border.  We have both.  Our betters in D.C. don’t care how much they have to shell out of other people’s money.  Whatever it takes.  Term limits have never looked and smelled so sweet, yet so out of reach. 

 

Honorable Mentions

Tucker Carlson for actually reporting as an honest one-man news media.  Rep. James Comer (R-KY) for having the fortitude to announce that he will actually do his job and investigate Joseph Robinette Biden for corruption.  Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) for showing everyone that strong, principled conservatism, unwavering against media and leftist onslaughts, can win strong majorities and accomplish good results.  MAGA Republicans for staying strong despite unrelenting ridicule from the ridiculous left.

 

Dishonorable Mentions

President Brandon for leading the most anti-American administration ever.  Kamala Harris for being the smiling, giggling sock-puppet that she is.  Alejandro Mayorkas for cluelessness in the face of cluelessness.  Dr. Fauci for successfully pawning off untested and ineffective MRNA injections as actual vaccines.  Liz Cheney for being, well…Liz Cheney.  The American “news” media for their continued unwillingness to hold truth to power.       

 

Can 2023 be any worse than 2022?  I asked the same question last year.  Look what happened.  Let’s pray for a better 2023.  Happy New Year, Patriots!
