A Subtle Change; A Profound Difference.

A subtle change; A profound difference.

Just a couple years ago, the military mantra was “Mission First, People Always.” Now, the mantra is “People First, Mission Always.

A small change at the strategic level. Huge implications down in the foxhole.

We are the Military. When we do our job, people die. If you put people first, the mission dies. Imagine if Abe Lincoln and General Grant said, “People first.” They would have sacrificed the mission for the sake to preserving the people. And we would still have slavery. What if Eisenhower had said, “People first, mission always?” We would be ruled by Nazis because he would not have been willing to direct the sacrifice necessary to win. This new philosophy is the philosophy of people who do not believe in America as an imperative. We are the only country in the history of the world that was founded upon ideals. And they do not believe in America.

Instead of the 1st Infantry Division motto of “No Sacrifice to Great,” the motto becomes “No Sacrifice is required or tolerable.” By the mere flip-flopping of a couple words.

The mantra of Mission First, People Always means that we will get your job done no matter what, but we will do whatever it takes to take care of our own in the process — and not waste lives.

The mantra of People First, Mission Always means that we will not take any risks to accomplish the mission, and accept no casualties. We’ll always keep the mission in mind, but it is subordinate to bringing everyone home. It means that the Army is a charity that will do its job when it is convenient.

I have always hated the leaders who said that their #1 job is to bring everyone home. Pansies. Their job is to accomplish the mission, and bring everyone humanly possible home.

I once watched as a commander bragged in 2005 that he was the only battalion who brought everyone home. Guess what, loser. You weren’t doing your job in trying to win the war! If you don’t believe in the cause, then flipping resign. If you do believe in the cause, then make smart decision. If you’re a careerist just seeking promotion and the tax-payer’s dole, then you should be tarred and feathered.

Mission First, People Always. Anything else is bulls***.

The Mission, the Men, and Me is a priority list of a warrior. “The men, the mission, and me” is the priority list of a well-intentioned coward.

And this change is also why we are now willing to pay a couple hundred thousand dollars of tax-payer money for a sex change for a soldier (intentionally not capitalized), making them non-deployable and worthless to the fight for like 2 years. People first, my a**. We’re going to lose the next real fight we have with this attitude. Mission First; People Always.

  1. What amazes me is that these two military leaders, who are so well educated, have lost the capacity to realize that there is nothing to gain in weakening a military that is required so much of, in time of war and disaster.
The two might as well put on dresses and heels and go do the drag queen story hour in their local public library. That’s just how inept and stupid they both are.
I’m just being polite. Alma said what I really think. Evil and wicked people, no matter who they are, should be dealt with, severely.

What I really want to know, about Mark Milley, and no, I will not give him the honor of his rank, is where did he leave his b@lls when responding to Biden, since he had such “courage” lambasting Trump?
Milley is nothing more than an ideologue and a high paid bum.
