Political Parody As a Weapon Part CI; Is it time to let Joe Biden return to the sea?
Last week, in Part C, we tried to capture the essence of the Hunter Biden legal strategy now that special counsel status had been granted to those bending over not to prosecute him. This week, we will continue to swim in the shallow Biden gene pool, where the unnatural warmth of the water is falsely attributed to climate change instead of skinny dipping Joe.
The current occupant of the White House has spent as little time as possible there during the month of August (though, to be fair, the same can be said of most other months since January of 2021). There are rumors amongst the law enforcement community in Delaware that last summer, Biden somehow slipped away from the beach house and protective detail and was found wandering in the nearby dunes (which is less distasteful than his skinny dipping in the pool in front of his female Secret Service agents at his other residence). While Biden this month has been alternating vacations between the east coast and the west coast, he has largely been neglecting the rest of the country (which, again, to be fair, the same can be said of most other months since January of 2021).
When Biden’s handlers decided that his “No Comment” in response to press questions about the Hawaiian wildfires helped proved the point that his attempts to project an image as an empathetic unifier was as false as any other story he told, they attempted to do damage control by scheduling a trip there to help elevate the underwhelming federal response to the devastation and death toll on Maui (which appears to have been enabled by democrat control of all levels of Hawaiian government).
This mistake in judgment failed to take stock of the Biden pathology that he has long demonstrated where he needs to be the bride at every wedding and the corpse at every funeral. Coupled with his inability to tell a tale without a lie, exaggeration, misidentification or other falsehood attached and his declining cognitive condition, the people of Maui were treated to a Joe Biden arriving and comparing the catastrophe of storm level winds, dry conditions and poor resource management which turned a paradise to ash and displaced thousands, killed more than a hundred and for which nearly 400 are left unaccounted to a lightning strike generated electrical fire at his home in 2004 which was brought under control in 20 minutes by volunteer first responders who actually showed up and resolved the emergency.
Biden, who has falsely claimed to Gold Star families that he lost his son in Iraq, suggested that he nearly lost his wife, cat and Corvette during the minor conflagration (failing to mention the classified documents that he apparently had been storing in his garage since early in his Senate career). The residents of the Aloha State could not wait to bid Aloha to conflater-in-chief, who proved to be a democrat politician even stupider than their Senator Hirono.
Of course, this was not the first time that Biden had all of his pathologies on display at a political event, but it does appear that even democrats are losing patience with the current occupant of the White House. Having entered national politics in 1972, he has managed to display his buttocks over and over again in the decades that followed, with this being just the most recent example.
Another event from 1972 was the release of the song “Brandy (You’re a Fine Girl)” by a New Jersey band known as Looking Glass. During the previous decade and a half the American Spectator website used to host a commenter known as John II who was an aficionado of Laurel And Hardy, the latter of whom used to complain of the former for the fine mess his poor judgment and actions had helped had helped to bring about for the pair. Given the poor judgment of the current occupant of the White House that he has shown before and since 1972, it seems appropriate to use this song and that expression to characterize both this latest bad behavior along with Biden’s long record of corruption, failure and mischief.

But he can never tell the truth, for he’s not an honest man

Biden calls a lid but wants a crown
But others know he’s just a clown
Whose family you pay

Sometimes I think Crooked China Joey is following the example of Vincent Chin Gigante, the NYC Mafia boss who faked being a loon by walking around Greenwich Village in his pajamas and uttering nonsense to avoid prosecution. Maybe Crooked Joey is pulling the same stunt to avoid prosecution for taking money from China, Ukraine, Russia, and other countries through his son.
Interestingly, Crooked Joey is a/k/a “the Big Guy,” and Gigante was a/k/a “the Guy”. Fellow mobsters would touch their chin and say “the Guy” when referring to their boss.
So we have Crooked Joey again plagiarizing a name.
Excellent observations, though if Biden’s senility is an act, he deserves the trifecta of a Tony, Oscar and Emmy for his acting performances.
When David Chase was recycling his old “Rockford Files” plots for “The Sopranos”, the ‘Chin’ strategy was designated as how Corrado “Junior” Soprano was going to try to avoid prosecution. Of course, by the end of the series, he actually was institutionalized as senile after shooting Tony.
