This might have been the plan all along – to get the GOP to focus on Biden’s ills, thus not allowing enough time for the GOP to trash the new guy/gal. This would be the Republicans’ worst nightmare – a younger, middle-of-the-road Dem to be sprung on them at the last minute.
3) Easy credit card access and fear of armed robbery is producing a cashless society that may cause an economic crunch. The consequences of greenbacks rendered obsolete is a catastrophe.
4) Trump losing his cool and failing to ask Biden tough “gotcha questions” during the debate is a lost election.
5) Biden not effectively answering unscripted questions will be his Waterloo. The consequences of a pre-debate emergency – real or created – might be the out the Dems need.
6) Shuttering coal-fired power plants and not building nuclear facilities will hamper proliferation of EVs and AI capabilities while giving a leg up to China’s quest for world dominance.
