It is possible – not certain, but possible – that after this disastrous Presidential debate, the Democrats may get the old crook to withdraw from the race. I doubt it, but they might.
And if that happens, and they go through the incredibly difficult process of coming to agreement on a replacement – that’s the hard part – they will then proudly say “We saw that our candidate was ill, and we did the right thing and replaced him for you; isn’t that admirable of us?”
But that will be a lie.
Because the Democrat leadership has known that Biden was in this condition for over four years. This isn’t a surprise to any of them. They’ve seen him at his worst since the beginning of the 2020 primary season.
They just hid it from you, and thought they could continue to do so, by restricting his public appearances, juicing him up on anti-dementia medication, writing his speeches on teleprompters, feeding him answers in an earpiece in press conferences.
The Democratic Party leadership has spent the past four years slapping themselves on the back for successfully hiding the condition of their ailing puppet from the public, and in fact gaslighting us, telling us all that the conservatives who accuse Biden of dementia are the liars.
And a large segment of America, over a third, maybe even half the voting public, have believed it. Until now.
After this first debate of the 2024 season, they can’t hide it anymore. All their tools – the meds, the debate prep, the rigging by getting the questions in advance – weren’t enough to hide the fact that Joe Biden is in no condition to run a corner store, let alone the executive branch of the most important country in the world.
If they do successfully get Jill Biden to have her husband withdraw after this mess, so that the Democrats can slide someone else in and redo this autumn’s ballots in time, the truth of it will be “We’ve known that our candidate was incapacitated all along, and we hid it from you for four years, using every tool at our disposal to use the old man as our puppet; we’ve been laughing at you behind your backs for falling for it all this time.”
Think about the great comic actor Bruce Willis, who has been suffering some similar age-related challenges for several years. When his condition became known, the public response was shock, that producers aware of his condition had been continuing to make movies with him, making money off a sick man, capitalizing on his name to sell lower quality movies.
The public judged Hollywood for this choice, and rightly so.
How much more severe is the experience in the White House? If America was shocked at such behavior in the making of movies, how much greater will be the righteous anger as the public comes to the realization that it’s been done at the very highest levels of the leadership of a government responsible for over 300 million people?
The DNC has known Biden’s weakness the entire time, and rather than allowing him to retire in peace, they propped him up in 2020 because his name, his brand, his approach was the one they thought could carry the day in 2020, more so than any of their other primary choices.
And since then, when they could have let him retire in office anytime and let the vice president succeed him, they’ve consistently chosen not to take advantage of that smooth and legal remedy, because they have found other benefits in using a sick old man as a puppet instead of allowing his proper replacement by an unpopular Californian whom they couldn’t control quite as easily.
The Democrats have boxed themselves into a no-win scenario. If they make him withdraw now, it’s an admittance of their past four years of deception, but if they keep him on the ticket now that the truth is exposed, they face certain and well-deserved annihilation at the polls because the public is onto them.
The nation’s current ills are not caused by the man himself; it’s official Democrat policy (which every Democrat would have promulgated without the slightest difference anyway) that’s responsible for the inflation, the plummeting standard of living, the crime, the destruction of our way of life.
But there is something especially offensive, especially criminal, in the fact that the Democratic Party has chosen to make a sick old man the vehicle for this destructive cocktail of Democrat policies and directions.
And today the collective guilt of the Democratic Party is fully exposed.
It’s not just the top of the ticket that’s in jeopardy today. It’s the entire party leadership, from top to bottom, now exposed as having been participants in this fraud for four long years.
Every Democrat on the ballot, from State Legislator on up to US Senator, shares responsibility for nominating him in 2020, propping him up in office throughout this dumpster fire of a term, and keeping him unchallenged for their nomination in 2024.
The Democratic Party cannot hide its guilt anymore.
