It was 12 years from Proclamation of 1763 to the Battles of Lexington and Concord in 1775. From 1763, to getting government right with the U.S. Constitution in 1789, it was 26 years. Epochal change takes time. Such an epochal change is needed to remove the political Establishment, restore the Constitution and Rule of Law, secure U.S. Sovereignty, and defeat Islamist Totalitarianism.
A Revolutionary Season is needed, because attempting to fix politics as usual, results in the usual politics. Usual is a feckless, gutless, clueless Republican Establishment and insidious, foolishly wrong, traitorous, Democrats unbound by moral conscience or established conventions – unless it suits them.
The few proven Conservative and Libertarian members of either chamber of Congress stand out in their support of key issues. Classic “exception proves the rule.”
The problem is that Politics – especially elected office – is a business. There are normal career paths. Lateral entry is possible with enough money and luck. Regardless, the business incentives remain.
The career pols share one talent. They know who to get elected to their office. They may not have another skill or redeeming quality about them. But, they know how to win their elections.
That means if you are in a safe seat you just have to win the party nomination.
In the 2026 election, it’s projected that 3 of 33 Senate seats and 18 of 435 House seats are up for grabs. Election to Congress is almost a sinecure.
When it comes to the party nomination, internal party politics prevail. But, only about one in one thousand Americans is active in party politics. So, take the population of your city or county or state and divide by 1000, that’s how many party activists there are. Then, multiply that by the per cent of the district that is of your political persuasion.
In my hometown of Poquoson, Virginia, that computes to 12,000 people resulting in 12 activists x a .75% Republican population that means 9 people are politically active Republicans. Nine.
Only nine citizens can make a difference. If they care enough to work to make a difference. And, if they don’t act as glassy-eyed cheerleaders for their elected pols.
In the absence of media doing their Constitutional duty as a free press, party partisans have to track the ins and outs of their pols themselves. That work takes time and careful scrutiny of sources.
So, if you want to have a Revolutionary Season, start with your local city/county committee. Make the party activists better informed. Use that information to hold your pols accountable publicly for every vote in committee or on the floor. For every pronouncement and speech.
Then, commit to doing more.
Recruit candidates, starting with School Board, who don’t need the job. Who don’t want the job to move up in life socially and financially.
Consider non-career spouses, wealthy individuals, youthful military or LEO retirees, and zealots for your causes. People who won’t be moved by the Catch 22 of dialing for dollars to get elected then being beholden to donors and repeat election cycle after election cycle.
Recruiting is the hardest task. Truly. Finding good people to be maliciously maligned by ungodly enemies of fairness, let alone truth, is tough work.
Finally, learn how to win grassroots elections so no amount of money can overcome your candidate.
It comes down to this election math. Look up the stats for the last few elections and divide the winning number by 100.
If a Congress critter was elected with 150,000 vote, then 150 people can swing an election.
Here’s how it happens. The average person has moral suasion over 200 people. 200 folks will go to one’s funeral and would be invited to a daughter’s wedding if you have the money. Imagine a normal (bell) curve with 200 at the high point.
So, if 150 people in a District can get half the people where they have personal influence to the polls, then 100 x 150 = 150,000.
It works. I’ve been part of such efforts in primaries and general elections. It is a LOT of work to make the personal contacts. To grow the networks of networked coalition partners.
It will take 12 to 26 years of not electing career pols to clean up government at every level – but, unfortunately, only where there are enough common sense citizens to win elections.
It takes revolutionary fervor and vision to transform a corrupted business, like politics. Anything less results in more of the same downhill slide to national, cultural, and civilizational suicide.
