Joe Biden is worried about how Donald Trump is destroying his “accomplishments.” That is the reason the Americans voter put Trump in.
Hans Blix: I’m sorry, but the UN must be firm with you. Let me see your whole palace, or else!
Kim Jong-il: Or else what?
Hans Blix: Or else we will be very, very angry with you… And we will write you a letter, telling you how angry we are.
Team America: World Police 2004
It’s Saturday, February 28, 2026, and like millions I’m glued to my TV and laptop. Checking to see if anything is new about Operation Epic Fury. No, it’s the same news on each source. Understandable, events like this take time to develop, and my beautiful wife is complaining I’m paying too much attention to it. After she poked me in the ribs at 530am to announce, “We’re attacking Iran!”
I stand there, trying to clean up the house and jumping the TV from Fox to BBC to CNN, of all things for me to think of, Joe Biden. I know, by 700am I should not have drunk that much, but something last week brought him to me. Joe Biden is actually asking, “You think we can actually come back from this?”
The line Joe Biden used to put into nearly every big speech — “I’ve never been more optimistic about America’s future” — is a long way from what he says in private now.
These days, multiple people who’ve spoken to him over the last year say, Biden often punctuates conversations with: “You think we can actually come back from this?”
There are days when Biden is heartbroken, indignant or in disbelief about what is happening as President Donald Trump — the man he defeated in 2020 — returned and moved not just to tear down his accomplishments, but to dig in with petty insults…
Biden knows that because of decisions he and close advisers made and the trends roiling the country and the world, he risks being forgotten for what he feels he accomplished as president and who he is as a man. He’s watching the attacks on democratic norms and the international order that he warned would come from Trump’s return — and registering the disgust directed his way that so many Democrats feel because they blame him for helping make that possible.
Joe, can we come back from Trump? Millions of us prayed we would recover from Barrack Obama’s two disastrous terms, and the third term you inflicted upon us. Accomplishments? Biden concerned about his “accomplishments:”
– Inflicting the largest inflation on the American people since the 1970s?
– The retreat from Afghanistan, the greatest foreign policy humiliation since Vietnam in 1975?
– The open war on American energy, resulting in the highest gas prices in history?
– Blowing trillions of dollars in wasteful government spending such as the Inflation Production Act or American “Recovery” Act?
– Organizing an invasion of over ten million illegal aliens over our southern border?
– Weakening the armed forces by allowing open mental cases into the military and emphasizing DEI over readiness training?
– A record number (73K) of Fentanyl deaths in 2022?
– When notified his actions supporting the cult of environmentalism would cost tens of thousands of miners their jobs, Joe smugly said these hard-working Americans should “Learn to code for God’s sake.”
Now we come to the issue of the day, Iran. Donald Trump, for his shortcomings, left Iran on the point of collapse in January 2021. Crippling sanctions had cut off Tehran’s oil sales, the funds to support their nuclear weapons program and terrorism. After Barrack Obama gave the mullahs billions for weapons and terrorist support, Trump I cripped them.
So what does O’Biden do. He accomplished bringing them back from the edge of collapse to putting their WMD programs back on fast track. From an article earlier this year:
Iran GDP for 2020 was 262.19 billion US dollars, a 21.39% decline from 2019.
Iran GDP for 2021 was 383.44 billion US dollars, a 46.25% increase from 2020.
Iran GDP for 2022 was 394.36 billion US dollars, a 2.85% increase from 2021.
Do you think this helped them in the production of a nuclear weapon? Since 2020, they have spent almost 387 billion on a nuclear device, almost as their 2020 GDP. More than a third of a trillion dollars.
Mr. O’Biden accomplished giving our greatest enemy in the Middle East a lifeline. He also wanted to reinstate the disastrous Iran Nuke Deal. Knowing how pathetic the nuclear agreement was with Tehran, it would make Hans Bitz in Team America look John Wayne.
Donald Trump was put in to, among other things, secure the border and deal with the Iranian disaster left to him. Obama, in eight years, attempted to throw multiple Middle Eastern nations into chaos (Egypt, Libya, Israel). And he did everything he could to strengthen the greatest threat to peace in the Middle East, Iran.
Trump cripped Iran in less than four years, and in the first year of his second term, he’s devastated their nuclear weapons program. Those are significant, positive accomplishments for a man in the Oval Office. But Barry, and Joe, you would not know about those.
Joe Biden, early in 2021, hosted several historians at the White House to ask their advice on how to proceed in his presidency. He wanted to “think big,” push forward major changes in areas like climate change, gun control, and wealth redistribution. Biden “saw himself as a historic figure in the vein of LBJ or FDR, repeatedly championing the role of government.”
“This is the first time we’ve been able to, since the Johnson administration and maybe even before that, to begin to change the paradigm. It’s critical to demonstrate that government can function — can function and deliver prosperity, security, and opportunity for the people in this country.”
Fortunately he was not able to be as destructive as LBJ, but he did try to put the Iranian nuclear plan back on a fast track. Between Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, this program was delayed by years, and that was before Operation Epic Fury.
See Joe, it’s not trying to outdo the Great Society or the New Deal. It’s to do the basics (peace and prosperity) and do them well. Reagan did it, Trump did it, you can’t. They understand the best government can do it get the hell out of the way. We remember you’ve never accomplished a thing in a half century in DC. So please, join other failed politicians like John Kerry, Michael Dukakis, Kamila Harris and Mrs. Bill Clinton in the ash heap of history. Your “accomplishments” are as solid as your mental ability and academic record.
Don’t go away mad Joe. Just go away.
