Political Parody As a Weapon Part LXXVII

Political Parody As a Weapon Part LXXVII; The devil is in the details.

Last week, in Part LXXVI, there was a diversion from the usual target of Joe Biden and his administration as aim was taken at a certain Lemon law. This week, we will return the focus of song parody to the man who laughs at the timing of the death of the children of others, while frequently trying to mislead others about the timing and circumstances of the death of his own.

Joe Biden lost his first wife and a daughter in an automobile collision that also injured his two sons in 1972. Those familiar with the investigation by the late Delaware State Police Trooper Richard Santobianco into the mishap are aware that he was pressured to change his conclusion that Mrs. Biden deliberately pulled into the path on the truck driving downhill on Limestone Road to cause the wreck. There was never any controversy over the conclusion that she had failed to obey her stop sign on Valley Road, however, and the truck driver was not charged. Despite this, this did not inhibit Joe Biden from slandering the innocent motorist by claiming he had “drank his lunch”, in order to enhance his perceived victimhood.

Biden’s son, Joseph R. “Beau” Biden III tragically died in 2015 as a result of brain cancer. Unlike his father, who avoided military service during the Viet Nam conflict, the younger Biden served as an attorney in the Delaware National Guard, and after having been elected to serve as Delaware’s Attorney General, deployed to Iraq, where he provided legal services to our forces there. Joe Biden has blamed his son’s brain cancer on the burn pits in Iraq, and has falsely claimed that his son died in Iraq on several occasions.

These lies are not surprising, as since Joe Biden lies about almost everything else, his trying to embellish tragedies that have impacted his life to try to gain political or tactical advantage should come as not much of a surprise. Joe Biden has also invented his connections to the Puerto Rican, Italian, Polish and Jewish communities as well as his connections to the black church and Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs). He has stolen valor for family members and for others, as well.

This week, though, Biden has suddenly become a stickler for details with respect to tragic anecdotes with policy implications. After Rebecca Kiessling gave emotional testimony to Congress about the death of her two sons as a result of fentanyl poisoning, Marjorie Taylor Greene attributed the death to Biden’s porous border policy that has turned Customs & Border Protection agencies from law enforcement agencies interdicting illegal aliens and contraband into a social welfare agency processing fraudulent asylum claims for ineligible economic refugees.

In the course of pointing out that the Kiessling boys has died during the Trump administration, Biden seemed to miss the point that since January of 2021, he was now in charge of the efforts to prevent more of the deadly drug from being smuggled across the border. What he did not miss, though, was a chance to laugh at the circumstances, as if two deaths misattributed to the thousands that occurred on his watch were a great punch line. While Biden always tries to draw sympathy on his own predicaments, he seems incapable of showing empathy for that of anyone else.

The search for sympathy has also concerned some of Biden’s fellow members of the Silent Generation, The Rolling Stones. Like Biden, they are not members of the post-World War II Baby Boom, as they were born during the war. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards brought a much edgier form of Rock & Roll from Great Britain to the US and the rest of the world, often giving homage to the Prince of Darkness along the way. An album released in 1967 was entitled “Their Satanic Majesties Present”, and the following year they had a hit with a song entitled “Sympathy for the Devil”.

If the devil can be called the father of all lies, Joe Biden qualifies as his offspring. As a man who seeks the sympathy of others through distortions, prevarications and exaggerations while finding humor in the tragedy of others, I have borrowed the Jagger and Richards music to memorialize Joe Biden’s search for sympathy, wealth, power and fame.

Please allow me to introduce myself
I’m a man of rants and ravings
I’ve been in office fifty years
My inflation steals your savings

And if I met Jesus Christ
I’d say my daughter married a Jew
They carried her in that big chair
Can’t you see, I’m just like you

Pleased to meet you
Watch us sell my name

Always hustling you
Is the nature of our game

I’ll tell the folks that I’m from P A
When I want to pander for their votes
Other times I’m from Delaware
Where I didn’t learn to use footnotes

Learned a thing or two
At an H B C U
And when Corn Pop raged
learned his point of view

Pleased to meet you
Watch us sell my name

Always hustling you
Is the nature of our game

I did my dance
Then closed auto plants
Who had for decades
Backed my every stance

I shouted out
“Let’s Go Brandon”
Didn’t understand
He was mocking me

Let me please introduce myself
I’m a man of high I Q
And if you check any records there
You might find I told a lie or two

Pleased to meet you
Watch us sell my name

Always hustling you
Is the nature of our game

Pleased to meet you
Don’t forget my name,
Old age confusing me
And falls will make me lame

So if I call every cop a criminal
And my friends shout out “defund”
I’ll just blame crime
on republicans
who want a bigger tax refund

So if you meet me
as a courtesy
‘cause you gave Jim and Hunter cash
We’ll just take a quick photograph
As I turn this place to ash

Pleased to meet you
Watch us sell my name

Always hustling you
Is the nature of our game

I mean it, big clown

Joe Joe
Oh yeah, I’m a clown
Oh yeah

Aah yeah

Tell me baby, what’s my name?
I mean it honey, I just forgot my name
Tell me baby, what’s my name?
I tell you one time, Trump’s to blame

What’s my name
Tell me, baby, what’s my name?
I mean it Jill, what’s my name?

  1. It is a nightmare that is real and does not go away when we wake up that China Joey is the president intentionally ruining our country. What were those 80-85 million “thinking” when they voted for the most corrupt politician in our history? And he wants to run again and most of them will vote again for him.

    • At age 84, my mother voted by mail-in ballot in 2020 for Biden. When questioned (and harangued) about it, she finally admitted that she always hated Trump going back years to his feud with Rosie O’Donnell on “The View” and how he treats women. When confronted with facts regarding Biden engaging in identical behavior (e.g. Tara Reade) she proclaims ignorance, as ABC News doesn’t cover the negative stories about Biden and democrats.

      • I have had similar conversations with Biden voters, unfortunately also some family.
They say they don’t like Trump and that Trump lied.
When I tell them you are not voting for the Prom King but for a president who has to be ruthless in a tough world, and ask what Trump policies such as securing the border, cutting tax rates, etc., they have a blank look and no reply.
Now when they complain about interest rates on their car loans and home equity loans and the price of gas, I can’t help but say you voted for Biden and he caused these problems.
I agree the MSM controls lots of votes because of their coverage and shilling for Dems.
