This enables the creation of new wealth as opposed to dividing up a pie that remains the same size.
- Military Power: The US military is one of the most powerful in the world, with advanced technology, extensive training, and a strong tradition of military service. Some people view this as a key factor in the US’s global influence and leadership. This, along with the fact that our military is under civilian control and is not used to pick our national leadership. Our military provides a safe environment for Americans to focus on building their lives without worry about foreign invaders.
- Democracy and Freedom: The USA is often seen as a beacon of democracy and freedom, with a political system that values individual rights and freedoms, as well as a strong tradition of civic engagement and social justice. This places the power of governance squarely with the people.
- Innovation and Entrepreneurship: The US has a long history of innovation and entrepreneurship, with many of the world’s most successful companies and startups originating in the USA. Some people see this as evidence of the US’s ability to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing world. Our system of individual liberty is what enables that innovation and enterprise which responds to consumer demand as noted above.
- Cultural Influence: American culture, from music and film to fashion and food, has had a significant impact on the world, and many people view this as evidence of the US’s cultural dominance and influence.
