In a wild twist of fate, it turns out those gassy settlers who decimated the buffalo population might have unknowingly saved the planet from a methane meltdown. Yup, you read that right – their relentless pursuit of Manifest Destiny might’ve been the ultimate eco-friendly move, albeit by accident.
Picture this: vast herds of buffalo roaming the plains, leaving a trail of methane in their wake like some kind of bovine-fueled climate catastrophe. But fear not, because here come the settlers, guns blazing and unknowingly armed with the ultimate eco-weapon: buffalo burgers and hide rugs.
