On Oct 25, 2023, the Japanese Supreme Court ruled that the law that required transgenders to be sterilized, that is undergo real sex-change surgery, was unconstitutional.[1] Concurrently, a Vox article from 2016 noted that most transgender men do not medically transition.[2] This was confirmed by a recent study published in The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) which found that only an average of 32% of men had genital surgery to transition.[3] The conclusion from these facts is inescapable.
Most “transgender” men want their cake and eat it too.
Despite hormone treatments and other methods, over two-thirds of these men don’t want to go all the way. They want to retain the one physical aspect that makes them men, but demand through government decree and societal compulsion that you still call them a woman… and allowing them by force to invade the last remaining spaces available to women.
One would think that it should be mandatory that men who want to become “women” should be required to go all the way. Japan had passed a law that demanded this very thing… and their highest court declared it “unconstitutional.” Thus, law courts are now claiming that not fully transitioning is the norm… yet such men can still be called women.
I suspect that as we push deeper into this murky future, more of these men with mental and spiritual illness will refuse to go all the way. After all, why should they? They can keep the one physical characteristic that makes them a man, along with the pleasure that comes from it, while invading women’s spaces. What a deal!
I recently had a falling out with an historian colleague. He told me that 12-year old girls should be able to slice off their breasts without even getting parental consent, and that men can become women- though he was a bit cagey on this one. He asserted that his views were “normal” in the liberal tradition. I told him that he didn’t have a moral compass, was spiritual sick, and in desperate need for spiritual regeneration. I asked him if sex with animals was next on his agenda of acceptable behavior. I haven’t heard from him since.
In a society that chants there are no absolutes, such a mantra becomes the absolute, and all boundaries and structures crumble before it. But it is ultimately a culture dominated by men… rich, powerful men… and women become nothing but slaves within it.
We are seeing a return to the ancient world, with its collection of bizarre mystery religions.
And, it is the revival of the totalitarian rule of vicious men of violence.
