Another example of a normal America. A cease fire in the war on firearms and ammunition.
Earlier this month I posted Make America Normal Again, on how actor Mike Farrell believed our country was normal under Democrats. Remember, with an invasion on the southern border or parents mutilating their children. Don’t forget allowing pathetic males in female sports or their locker rooms. We’re getting that behind us. And now (hopefully) the Democratic war on firearms and ammunition manufacturers has stopped.
Every odd year I replaced my “service rounds,” the ammunition I actually carry on the streets. I don’t want that stuff getting too old. In 2023 I made an order (three boxes of 40 caliber, a box each of 357 caliber, 380 caliber, and 38 caliber, as well as five boxes of 9 mm). Now Cor-Bon generally ships when they have all the ammo ready. This time they broke it up in three shipments because it took that long to manufacture. It took 3 months (I ordered in November, it was delivered in early February). While their factory was going 24/7/365.
On Sunday 8/17/25 I ordered 17 boxes of various ammunition, a total of 340 rounds. They were delivered on 8/22/25. This is incredibally good news. Not just the good stuff (as an aside, if you’re looking for self-defense ammunition, I highly recommend Cor-Bon). Buying training rounds has also been mush less expensive since January (can someone refresh my memory, did something happen back then?).
This is not the only time I’ve been glad to get a Democrat out of office. Bill Clinton caused a similar run on gun and ammo sales, causing similar shortages. Bubba’s gun control threats helped increase the membership of the NRA to five million. Barrack Obama was often called the greatest gun salesman in the history of the country, and ammunition was flying off the shelf. I stopped by a Wal-Mart during the Obama years and the sporting goods clerk was just putting up a shopping cart full of ammunition. Another gentlemen was there, and I asked the clerk about the two cases of .223 caliber ammunition he had in the cart. The clerk said he was about to put it out for sale. The other gentlemen said, “Well, that case in mine,” and I pointed to the other one, “And that case is mine.”

Joseph O’Biden was a close second as the GOAT in gun and ammunition sales. All of which made it painful the law-abiding citizen who hunts, sports shoots, or carries a weapon for protection. And that all started to change on 1/20/25. Thank you Mr. President.
Another reason I will never regret voting for Donald Trump.
