You Can’t Negotiate Or Compromise With People Who Will Not Dialogue And Want To Kill You
I left off in Part 1 with a break in the action do to what we sometimes refer to in the Army as the “drip lip,” where lips are moving and sounds are coming out but what is heard is akin to static.
Former democratic Lt Governor and Governor of Virginia, current Senator, lawyer Tim Kaine-running mate of Hillary Clinton-either is ignorant of the US Constitution that he swore an oath to support and defend or he is a radical making gibberish arguments that he disingenuously offers in the manner of a barrister working the court (of public opinion) to support his aberrant politics.
This is a problem I predicted years ago as lawyers increasingly seemed to rise to aspiration-after going through the ranks at the state level-as Deputy or Assistant Attorney General, Attorney General, Lieutenant Governor, Governor-landing in congress. The reason I considered it a problem is that the best lawyers are pretty much agnostic-and comfortable-on either side of a legal argument-and often can and will argue both sides at the same time as a tactic to undermine the strength of an opponent’s argument.
Senator Chuck Schumer is perhaps the most blatant example given his longevity in the house and senate, as well as his often “theatrical, holier than thou, this topic is killing me” histrionics. He is a political animal who has no qualms about protesting vigorously on an issue today that he mindlessly argues the alternative point tomorrow with no shame, compunction or accountability: how do you like me now (I don’t).
But even Schumer seems to have tested once too many times the patience of his unhinged support base, who spanked him mightily in the last go round of the Continuing Resolution circus, forcing him on the plank to shut the government down while inexplicably failing to support the legislation that he just supported earlier this year: Oh, my pearls!
So Kaine is nothing if not a typical politician presenting the argument du jour, notwithstanding it may be complete nonsense donkey dung in light of his position, stature, oath, whatever! If there is a bedrock principle in the Constitution that undergirds the entire document, it is this: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” The hand of legendary Virginians is all over our founding documents.
These protestations by politicians are not even surprising anymore in a town where the entirety of the LSMBTGA presents a furious front to the public by touting the egregious lawfare being conducted by the Trump administration: ha, haha, hahaha. Trump is taking “retribution” on his enemies: ha, haha, hahaha.
Such politicians and the seeming entirety of the LSMBTGA must live in houses with no glass (one of my parents favorite poems.)
Leftists, communists, rabble rousers, anarchists and their ilk have touted propagandized screeds for centuries in faux outrage and clever nonsense to pick apart the basic framework our country and society were built upon. We are far too benevolent a people to treat them like they deserve when they act out in support of their silly propaganda.
Ignoring them has not served us well as they have wormed their way into our institutions-tainting, in particular-our academic institutions to bad effect well beyond any and all common sense based on the worldwide failure of their alternative governance systems anywhere one cares to look on our planet.
This results in politicians like Senator Kaine, whose apparent confusion on such a fundamental issue is baffling and non-sensical. Or another Virginian-former governor Ralph Northram-who, speaking about third-trimester abortions, offered up a total nonsense response that basically described a baby-out of the womb/delivered-being comforted while the mother and attending doctor discussed whether to murder the baby or let it live. Many have justified this discussion and would likely take issue with my characterization of it-but listen to the video and judge for yourself what he said. What are the doctor and the mother decisioning???
More recently Virginia Attorney General candidate democrat Jay Jones’ texts were revealed where he was recommending death by two bullets against one of his political colleagues and also expressing the same fate for his children while they died in their mother’s arms, while also ranting against and wishing the same fate for police.
Jones has not been pressured to drop out of the race by his colleagues, the gal running for governor, his party nor strangely many of the people of Virginia. From the piece:
After publicly condemning Jones’ texts, Virginia House Speaker Don Scott, D-Portsmouth, spent Sunday campaigning in Coyner’s district. Speaking to parishioners at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Hopewell, Scott urged voters to keep their attention on the broader stakes of the election.
“We have to be mature in our thinking and how we vote,” Scott said. “We can’t get distracted, because they want us to get distracted by the text message here or something else. Stay focused.”
If you wonder who “they” are referred in the above remarks, it is apparently those who would take issue with an aspiring politician wishing death on his serving colleague and his children as well as the police. This issue above-and all these issues-should be viewed in a societal, cultural milieu that transcends political calculations, concerns and context in terms of our role as citizens.
Violent talk breeds and feeds violent action among the feeble in society, those who lack morals, standards, intellect and/or the sanity to separate such hyperbolic words from reality.
When leftist, socialist and largely democratic demagogues espouse such talk and paint their perceived opponents as Nazis, fascists, Third Reich, Gestapo, goose stepping robots, etc., they do so knowing full well that their propagandist sycophants in society and academia have toiled for decades making the proposition that it is justifiable-should we gain the capability for time travel-to kill the baby Hitler in his crib.
It is a very short, seemingly logical step for addled and feeble-or indoctrinated-minds to connect the dots from such amateur philosophers-what we call in the Army “Schtick House Lawyers”-to equivocate such thought into a “then we should do so today” delusion.
And to extend such leftist babble to any opponents or any who disagree with their philosophy and violent propaganda to similarly cast opposition politicians and government officials-all the way down to civilian servants such as those in the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement troops on the front lines-for instance, in a similar vein to justify all manner of violence in support of the “grand cause:” rock throwing, cement filled water bottles, laser pointers, blinder spotlights, spiked weapons, vehicle mayhem, pyrotechnics, weapons, etc.
The support of elected officials in many states (California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Oregon, etc.) have given legitimacy to mayhem focused groups that are interrupting the daily, lawful, ongoing pace of life in their states and cities by encouraging such action against lawful government activities.
ANTIFA and the Black Liberation Revival Movement (BLRM) have progressed and become much more sophisticated in tactics, techniques, and procedures, and much better funded, over the “Occupy” movement that can be viewed as their predecessor organization embraced by democrats. Many I talk to seem to have scant remembrance of this recent century progression, which I would extend back to the mafia infiltrated labor unions coming out of the 1950s who committed egregious violence against any “scabs” who would dare to pass picket lines, which gave way to the hippie and drug culture of the 1960s anti-Vietnam sentiment-the Weather Underground, the Black Liberation Movement, etc., many of whom are now apparently “no-King’s fans”-and so on to today (a story for another day.)
When groups like this are not dealt with using a no-tolerance approach from the get-go, applying criminal investigative techniques and following up with charges, the power of the mob that Dune warned against applies (“A leader must maintain the level of individuals else a group become a mob.”)
When these anarchists in Germany in the heyday of the Baader-Meinhof Gang were inspired and eventually became well-funded leftists able to gather on a moment’s notice, the most effective Polizei defensive technique was the water cannon (page 4), particularly in spring or fall when the falling temperature made an inflicted shower a truly “mind-numbing” event.
Most were not hurt by the water but the rabble-rousing leftist tradition which grew to extreme violence through the use of Improvised Explosive Devices went on for decades and was so widespread in Germany during the 1970s and 1980s that US military installations and compounds extended their entrances/gates to provide a buffer zone far away from the main entrance and also installed heavy duty anti-vehicle devices and mechanically triggered blockades.
When such society undermining messages take root in our youth, authorities are often slow on the uptake to react-particularly when groups act on one side of the political spectrum’s behalf-leading to what we are witnessing today as the increasingly violent tendencies of segments of our society. Where the participants seem encouraged to demonstrate their own form and style of protest, driven to outdo their peers in terms of violence, while their supporters and fellow anarchists contribute financially to support them, even in the wake of the most heinous acts (CEO murdered, football player killed, ANTIFA, ANTIFA and BLM bail fund, hysterical USA Today fact check turd.)
This idea about citizen responsibility and accountability in legally sanctioned First Amendment protests against our government is not new nor novel or an issue. Given our heritage we should expect such efforts but not accompanied by violence and destruction. There was a time when such conduct on the part of these groups and the egging on by our elected officials would not be tolerated and would be disqualifying.
What am I recommending here? Stock up on popcorn! It is going to be a hoot when the dems and lefties start to work on potential 2028 candidates J. D. Vance and Marco Rubio. And-spoiler alert-they’ve already started on Vance-and surprise-he is worse than Trump. But if Trump is Hitler, how do you characterize Vance-cause weird didn’t survive first contact (and Trump is Hitler…) Oh-and the LSMBTGA may have to rescue his wife: really…
The conduct of citizens has been a subject of politicians for some time now. A hundred or more years after the Constitutional Convention a similar explanation in a much abbreviated form to the Federalist Papers was presented as somewhat of a more modern explanation that is well known, but not very well appreciated in my view consisting of the words of Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt’s speech entitled “Citizenship in a Republic” delivered to the Sorbonne in Paris on April 23, 1910.
