In Deuteronomy 11:13-21 we learn how God wants us to teach our children, instructing them in the ways of the Lord at all times. God is faithful in return, making it so our physical lives on this earth are sustained. When we eat we will be satisfied.
I believe most people today are so caught up in the “material world,” the world we live in, see and experience, that we forget there’s a whole other realm out there — just as real as the material world, but one we, as human beings, are unable to see with our eyes. I’m talking about the spiritual realm.
The story of Christmas is, at its heart, the story of God’s love. It is the story of a Creator who loved His people so deeply that He could not leave us lost and separated from Him.
Trusting God doesn’t mean that life will be smooth sailing. But we can trust God to be with us even in our worst days and to shelter us with His loving arms.
