Previously, in Part XLIV, the works of the Professor of Parody were accessed to maintain the mockery of a Biden administration that tries to make itself parody-proof by embracing the satirical depictions of itself as their policies. This week, a closer look will be taken at one of the faces bringing the message from the clown car with a straight face.
When Jennifer “Circle Back” Psaki left the Biden White House, their Communications Office lost a skilled liar who could boldly prevaricate, deflect and obfuscate without shame. Once the ethically-challenged love child of Raggedy Ann and Chucky of the “Child’s Play” movies took her job at MSNBC, she left behind in her place a successor with a different skill set.
As affirmative action programs began to take hold in the late 1970s in government hiring and contracting, a joke began to circulate that the ideal candidate for positions so affected would be a black female disabled Vietnam veteran. As the democrat party and the left have sought to divide Americans into special interest identity groups that they can pit against one another, these classifications have intensified to the point where they cease being mere demographic descriptions and have instead become qualifications.
As such, Psaki’s replacement does not appear to have been selected based on her ability to continue to blow the gaslight-powered smoke screen across the 1600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, but rather merely because of who, or rather, what, she is.
Karine Jean-Pierre is a 45-year-old woman of color born in Haiti and raised and educated in deep-blue New York City. She is a lesbian adoptive parent formerly employed by MoveOn.org and MSNBC, who raises her daughter along with her partner, CNN employee Suzanne Malveaux. She reports struggles with mental health such as a suicide attempt following academic failure and family difficulty. In other words, she is everything that the blue state rich white college educated elites who dominate the left aspire to be.
Unfortunately for the serial fabulist who occupies the White House and who hired Ms. Jean-Pierre, she does not appear to communicate her spin or broadcast the propaganda as effectively as her predecessor. Like her boss, she ignores the crux of a poll that says nearly 2/3 of democrats don’t want Biden to seek re-election in favor of the question that 92% of those still calling themselves democrats say they would vote for Biden over Trump. She has forwarded the big lie that Putin is responsible for the rise in gas prices while ignoring the administration’s Green New Deal executive orders that doubled the prices in the year before the Russian invasion of Ukraine. She has denied the economic calamity that most Americans are experiencing as a result of Biden policies, and refuses to accept responsibility for the consequences of the Biden’s administration failure to secure the southern border.
In short, Karine Jean-Pierre is a disaster of the same magnitude as mouthpiece for Biden as Biden is for the office of the presidency.
Of course, while it is easy to suggest that perhaps the poor performance is the result of being selected on the basis of having membership in so many of the special interest identity groups that form the democrat base rather than communication skills, another factor may be at play to explain Ms. Jean-Pierre’s inability to pull the wool over the eyes of much of the public.
Perhaps the reluctance on the part of the public to embrace Ms. Jean-Pierre’s messaging skills is the disrepute that has attached to the anglicized version of her given name, Karen. As America is a land of boundless opportunity, though, options are available to counter such an affect. After all, Corrinne or Corrina is another version of this moniker that does not have such negative baggage attached to it.
In fact, there was a time when this version of the name was the subject of serenades on the airways. In the late 1950s, many entertainers had versions of a song entitled “Corrine, Corrina” playing on the radio, including Ray Peterson and Big Joe Turner. The latter version was also featured in a frequently unwatched film named Corrina, Corrina with the late Ray Liotta and the anti-semitic racist from “The View”.
The song was largely a name and nonsensical lyrics strung together and repeated over and over as an ode to convince the singer’s estranged lover to return. As such, it seems well-suited to parody such a well-known Karine:
First name Karine, last name Jean-Pierre
