Crossing America’s Rubicon

 

On January 10, 49 B.C. Caesar and his army crossed the Rubicon River. By formally entering the Roman Empire he knowingly committed treason as it was against the law to cross the river with an army. Since that event, the phrase “Crossing the Rubicon” meant reaching a point of no return. By his actions Caesar ignited a Civil War that signaled the end of the Roman Republic and once again history would pivot around the fall of one of the world’s greatest empires.

When the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago they crossed their own Rubicon, as did all who knew of the raid, encouraged it, or stood by rather than stop it. This raid was not driven by a need to protect Americans, or a desire to expose criminal behavior, it happened because the corrupt state that is Washington D.C. fears Trump as President in 2024. This is only a continuation of the deep state’s attempts to destroy him. Two failed impeachments, the theater of the Jan 6 commission, the constant pursuit of his tax records, and now this. They are not hiding their motives or their actions anymore, as they are certain Americans will do nothing and say nothing.

But this is not just about Trump; this is about a rogue deep state determined to preserve itself and destroy America as it pursues barely disguised global agendas. It is wrong when the D.C. establishment continues to invent excuses to pursue American citizens when they fight back against the corruption. It’s time for us to fully recognize that the swamp is deeper than anybody can imagine, and the only way to drain it is to pull the plug. We can’t just skim off the top while the admin state refills it from the bottom. As I’ve been preaching for almost three years, state and local action is necessary to fix the nation.

The fact that this comes as no surprise to many of us is a sad state of affairs. Parents at school boards are called terrorists, the Betsy Ross and Gadsden flags are declared symbols of extremism, and all who fight corruption are audited by the IRS or visited in the dark of night. The same IRS that now has an increase of 87,000 employees funded by a falsely titled billed called “The Inflation Reduction Act.” Ask the TEA Party movement. Ask all who’ve received calls, or a knock on the door from the FBI only to realize that the FBI, the Gestapo, and the KGB are blood relatives.

We the People must stand up now before it’s too late. Peaceful and legitimate actions that would normally be considered abnormal must now be considered as the left has no desire to be peaceful or legitimate. America is a Constitutional Republic where the people are in charge, the states are the primary level of governance, and federal government is delegated their powers by us. Powers delegated can be taken away, it’s our right to do so and it’s become a necessity.

Here’s what must happen now:

  • States and Counties across the nation must declare themselves Constitutional Sanctuaries and reject all federal aid or dollars.
  • Sheriffs must be required to make public statements that they will stand between the people and any government overreach. This includes deputizing citizens who will uphold the Constitution.
  • State Governors must assess the scope of federal agency involvement in their states and be prepared to demand they depart their states or face detainment and forced removal.
  • States must fulfill their duties under the 10th Amendment and aggressively protect liberty for all.

Our Declaration of Independence states:

“That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends [life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness], it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

What does it mean for the people of this nation to cross their own Rubicon and take back the nation that belongs to them in a legitimate and peaceful manner? I don’t have all the answers, but I do know that it is legal, and clearly it is necessary. So, join me on the banks of the river and let us contemplate what it means to cross over.

  1. The ones breaking the laws, right now, are the law makers themselves, so, whether or not it would be illegal for us to cross our Rubicon it becomes moot.

    I live on a very busy street in my town, and I noticed a Gadsden Flag right under the American Flag, just down the street. It is about to have a companion on my front porch column.
    This is about Trump, which means it is about us, too.

    • I don’t believe it is we who will cross that river. The left are the ones on the march. In this case, we are not Caesar, the left is, and they have already crossed that Rubicon, thereby causing the failing of the republic. We broke no laws. Caesar committed treason against his republic, by crossing it, and we are the ones who are going to hold on to the republic, if we can.

      This is our ground to hold. We have broken no laws, and the government, and we, should seriously read Roman history, concerning the events that led up to the Ides of March, 44 BC. We are facing a very similar threat: the tyranny of a dictator.
      We could learn a lot from Roman history, if we chose to.
