Whether you use one of many starting points, where we were warned by people who lived through some of the most horrific examples of tyranny and terror, like Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s life in Gulag Archipelago, or the Bible, where so many examples of wickedness and evil subjected the Jews of those times horrific pain, suffering and near annihilation, as punishment for their sins, the picture can get painted the same. The Biblical example being “The” lesson and then the lesson from Solzhenitsyn that there is no end to the pit one can land in, but still survive through his faith and duty. Our culture is in crisis.
We saw what happened to Solzhenitsyn when he delivered his speech to Harvard, but he still gave it, so he was a Christian warrior. He showed us what evil we face, when you see the response from the professors and the media, when he opened his speech, by mentioning “Veritas” and went on to criticize Harvard in his commencement speech. Solzhenitsyn performed his duty until the day he died. The Jews kept sliding away from what they were given, along with the Commandments, and were punished by God.
Now, it is a mixture of an evil ideology with twists in many directions, but all rooted in the same thing: Evil. It is the continual quest for control against freedom and choice. The only one who has the authority to make demands is the same one who gave us the Ten Commandments. The rest are just a bunch of people who believe they are above Him. We need to put Him back in that proverbial driver’s seat, because He already told us that He is the last driver of that car. Fools, like Biden, are just useful idiots for people who have very dark desires of power and control, and even while they may temporarily succeed in their quest, like that WEF(Klaus Schwab) nonsense, and Bill Gates, and his quest to kill people through “vaccines and women’s reproductive health”, and George Soros, who has claimed to have had fantasies of being Baal, or similar, all of them will fail.
It’s just up to us, as a society of believers, to decide whether we want to let it all happen, or do as our Lord demands us, and stand against this evil, or He will solve the problem with many more as his spoils, and not guests in His everlasting life.
The example of Dietrich Bonhoeffer should tell us what a modern day Christian warrior is. When one fears God, fearing man is of no real consequence. He went to the gallows with that as his comfort. A true warrior.
We are headed towards more pain and suffering, until the day comes that either we repent our sins and grab hold of our Lord and Saviour, and stand solidly against all this evil, through our faith, and understanding our duty, or we take our chances and just pray for the love of our Lord to save us. I believe, through His examples in the Old Testament, and those just in recent years, of the fine men who took the word of God to heart, and stood up and fought back, and gave their lives.
Is it simple enough to live your life, profess one’s Christianity(or any other religious belief) and pray? I already have enough of a problem with just praying in the church I grew up in, that there is no way that just praying can ever be enough. I could go to that church, pray until the cows all come home, and then some, and it wouldn’t be enough to even come close to beginning, when that church has betrayed the Gospels in the Bible I believe in. When there are supposed Christians who believe that it is the woman’s right to choose to abort her child, in that church? When that church has adopted that two men, or two women can marry?
Live and let live, some say. What about all those millions of babies who didn’t get that chance to live and let live? Live and let live, so that those whose “Marriage” is barren from the start? Those “Marriages” that are being made accepted by the churches, the ones between the two of one sex, can only adopt, so they, if they are even about “Families” have to have their family off the back of those who can reproduce. Live and let live is another way of turning one’s face away from God, by just not looking and pretending that it isn’t happening, when anyone with half a brain knows it is.
We can’t let these things happen if we understand our duty. Our duty is taught to us by parable, by literal text and by historical fact. But first, we have to recognize the problem before we can deal with it. The Old Testament, if one reads it, should drill it so deep into our heads, as long as one reads it, that it should be apparent to all that our duty is not simply to follow the Ten Commandments, Leviticus and Deuteronomy but not allow them to not be followed, by our every example, by the system of justice we used to have, and now don’t.
Our country, and system of governance, was founded by people who had a strong belief in God, and no, they did not exclude God in their writing. In fact, they placed God in the founding documents very well. And there is nothing in the Constitution that allows for the introduction of pagan sacrifice(abortion), but plenty that was supposed to stop that. There is nothing wrong with technology, until it becomes the tools of evil and wickedness by those who wish only to destroy. Some lawyer might come along and say “You can’t do anything about that. Laws get passed to protect individual rights, which gives the individual rights to play in two domains: 1) under the laws that our country was founded by, The Ten Commandments, if you will, or 2) the Devil’s playground, which is the cesspool of that extent of social media and evil ideology that persistently tries to pervert God’s laws, which perverts man’s law, at the same time. I’ll tell the lawyer what Shakespeare said about lawyers.
So, it is our duty to defend all those rights we do have by not allowing evil to be made into laws. Voting and speaking up and saying “No!”. If we don’t start there, what we are left with is chaos, and chaos breeds violence. If that is all that is left, it has to be considered. What’s that impulse that enters your mind when you hear or see that a teacher is trying to introduce your child to sexual grooming, or trying to make your child thing he is a she? It’s said all the time. You want to go and punch that someone. I think those who wish to do evil to our children should receive much more than a punch because a lot more has happened to get us to the current mess than simply trying to change their sex. And, if that justice system we have won’t solve the problem, those with that impulse will.
Just remember those two I mentioned as Christian examples performing their “Duty”, before you say prayer is enough. Bonhoeffer and Solzhenitsyn both risked their lives to do God’s work. One went to the gallows for it. The other almost died in a gulag. They are true disciples of the 20th century. It’s not for everyone to become Bonhoeffers, but it is our duty to do what we can.
So, I will do whatever I can.
