One of the first things Trump did after being inaugurated as President was to withdraw from the Paris Climate Treaty. The Paris climate treaty was (supposedly) a legally binding treaty setting a series of goals around climate change that would have resulted in economic suicide had the US attempted to comply. Barack Obama signed the treaty for the US, but never presented the treaty to the Senate for approval. This buy itself was clearly grounds for impeachment, but that is a different president.
According to the Constitution of the US, an international treaty must be approved by a 2/3 vote of the Senate. Obama clearly knew he would never get that, so it was never presented to the Senate. After Biden’s election, Biden quickly signed his name to the Paris treaty. And he is now attempting to force various US agencies, such as the EPA, to enforce the requirements of the treaty. The EPA having long since been hijacked by extreme environmental causes, is happy to comply. This despite the fact that the treaty has never even been officially presented to the Senate. This is grounds for impeachment. The president swore uphold the Constitution of the United States. The requirements for an international treaty are clear and well known. In order for a treaty to become the law of the land, 2/3 of the Senate must approve it. Without Senate approval, the Paris treaty is no more binding on the US than a personal IOU signed by Hunter Biden to his father.
Senate approval will never happen. Its unlikely that even a majority of the Senate would approve the treaty, since most Senators realize that the whole climate change story is nothing more than a scam, and they would never allow the US to commit economic suicide in support of such a transparent scam.
But one thing is clear, Biden has violated his oath of office. Even without other grounds for impeachment, his failure to present the Paris Treaty to the Senate approval while still trying to enforce the treaty is clear and sufficient grounds for impeachment. And his ongoing attempts to force US agencies to enforce the treaty is illegal, and further grounds for impeachment.
I am not going into Biden’s actions around China. It seems to me that while it is clear Biden sold out the country to China, proving it will be impossible.
But the Paris treaty is clear. He had a responsibility to present it to the Senate, he failed to present it as prescribed in the Constitution, but he is acting as if it is a valid treaty. That is absolutely a violation of the US Constitution.
Of course, when it comes to impeachment we have to ask the question. Who is worse, Biden or Harris? A senile senior citizen, or a stupid vice president whose sole qualifications for office are being black and female? Its hard to decide.
